"And risk letting you take the blame for this? Never. I have put you through enough. He has put us both through enough." She shook her head slightly with those words. It wasn't about blame, it was him trying to cover this without her being witness to what she had done. If he could spare her seeing Taru he would, she didn't need more memories than she had already. "I was thinking more of wrapping him up in that rug, Khari. You don't need to be here, and i don't want you to see more of this than you need, too." "It is possible my secretary heard that blaster shot, I could claim that this was merely self defence...no one need know what it was Taru was holding over us."He had thought of that, too. Though if she had she would have called the KDYS, the way he had entered wouldn't have helped any. No, he shakes his head. She either didn't hear it or she thought it was something else. Being a secretary she wouldn't be knowledgeable in blaster sounds he thought. "No, if she had we would have company or at least a comm over the matter.""Or we stick to the original plan..." Holding her securely in his arms he rubs her lower back trying to sooth her. "Calm, khari....yes, we stick to our earlier plan. But, in the mean time I will get rid of the mess.....wouldnt help us any if someone wants to come in and sees a body on the floor." he watched her go answer the Comm. "Lady Vestra, Port traffic control asked that I patch through a communication to you. There is a Kage Dooku wishing to speak with you. They inform that it is concerning the repairs of an entire fleet."That raised an eyebrow, he knew the name Dooku, but not this the name Kage. What kind of name was that, he thought to himself. ( ) Kage sounds like the back end of a rancor or something that came out of it. Shrugging he keeps looking at Khari letting her do what she does best. He decide to find out if Arri had hear from Urai, so he pulled out his com link and send her a transmission. "Arri. we have a problem, or fixed one depending on how you look at it. Any news of Urai, yet?"

Khari appreciated the comfort, though when he let her go it was only then she managed to find herself somewhat back in her usual element. Business she knew well how to deal with, the rest....well she didn't suppose it came to Tress naturally either, he didn't look the sort to be disposing of the evidence too often than was necessary. She just hoped whoever this Urai was, he or she would be able to do so expediently.
Meandering around the side of the desk, Khari did her talking whilst she was walking...it helped settle her nerves in a strange sense, keeping on the move meant she had too much to consider going on around her, rather than the singed mess in the center of the floor. Her hips sashaying as she walked, she took great care to skirt the perimeter of the room, rather than step over the still-cooling corpse of Taru, her gaze anywhere but that blaster burned ruin that had once been an attractive visage.
"Do you have an account with us, Kage Dooku?" She was saying into the comlink, not recalling the name to the best of her knowledge, but then she couldn't recall everyone.
"Arri. we have a problem, or fixed one depending on how you look at it. Any news of Urai, yet?"
****
Arri had been standing in the shuttle bay for some time, rather grateful for the tedium after the drama she had encurred with Taru before, things were starting to drag on a tad, though this wasn't in boredom so much as concern. Tress hadn't commed in a while and she was too concerned with keeping up the ruse to find out herself, she didn't want to ruin things ahead of schedule.
So when that call came through, she instantly brightened.
"Tress? Is everything alright? I recieved word a little over a few moments ago that the shuttle was on it's way, no sign yet but that doesn't mean anything at this time of day. So far as I am given to understand, he's still on his way...should be here right about..."
Every word she had said after that was eclipsed by the loud sounds of a shuttle skimming into the bay to dock, from the interference it caused on the channel to the low, constant hum of the shuttles engines as they whined to power down. Hopefully, this would be who they were waiting for.

"Yes, we are ok....just get her with him as soon as possible." He tells her while keeping an eye on Khari. **** The ship bearing Urai Fenn, one time second in command to Tyber Zann, had landed finally. It had been a short trip from Dathomir as he was there recruiting the woman next to him. Siara, the Dathomir witch was young and powerful, one of the reasons Urai wanted her on his side. He was recreating a team, a team that had been the idea of Tyber and he would see it accomplished. Walking off the boarding ramp, he was a sight to behold. Something rarely seen his species hardly ever seen. An avian of the Talortai race, he had all the characteristics of a bird and he looked fierce. Seeing a woman not to far off, he assumed she was Arri the human woman that held Tress's trust. "Greetings. I am Urai Fenn....this is Siara." He says simple waving at the woman next to him who was looking around. "Take me to Tress."[glow=red,0600] Urai Fen[/glow] [glow=red,0600] Siara[/glow]

"Yes,we are ok....just get her with him as soon as possible."
"Will do...looks like they just arrived." Closing the comlink, she kept a curious eye out as the landing ramp of the newly arrived shuttle lowered, two figures beyond standing at the top, one of them appearing vaguely humanoid in origin, the other....was of a species she had never before seen in the flesh.
As they descended, she stayed where she was for the time being, not wishing to draw too much attention to the inocuous nature of the vessel that had just berthed there. The pair walked over towards her, becoming more clear in her vision, she wasn't certain what to make of the one she supposed was Urai, the female at his side she had only seen in holos...or rather those like her, and she seeped an energy that was as dark as it was intense, unsettling Arri in a way that she couldn't quite comprehend.
"Greetings. I am Urai Fenn....this is Siara." He says simple waving at the woman next to him who was looking around. "Take me to Tress."
" Greetings to you both, I am Arri, you arrived just in time, I fear...come, i'll show you the way."
She left the greeting brief, there was nothing to say and much she would rather not know. Those who knew too much became a target, and she had no intentions of becoming one...again. Leading them through the series of complex walkways, zones and higher rise areas, she stopped every so often to check they had not got lost along the way, there was so much to become caught up with here, that it was often sensory overload.

" Greetings to you both, I am Arri, you arrived just in time, I fear...come, I'll show you the way."
They followed her in silence, keeping their eyes forward but seeing everything and storing it away for later. Escape routes, possible hiding places, Security patrols. They saw it all as they should have. Their line of work depended on the littlest details they might gain on first impressions.
Urai moved to walk beside Arri. "Tell me, what is amiss....something new happen or the same as before?"
***
Tress smiled as he heard the good news, they had finally arrived and on their way. Soon as Urai got here, things would be taken care of. He looks at Khari and nodded that they were here and coming, not wanting to say anything out loud as she was talking to a perspective client.

Corey hears a woman’s soft voice come over the comlink, he opens his eyes to reply. This time he stands up and step into Selenas platform and gets on one knee so she could see his whole face. His image appears before Khari. His image showed a large cut along his right eye, with a red tattoo over his left going up over the top of his head. He was large framed human, you can tell he has been in many battles. His eyes shown he was kind but a dark side to him.
“Hello Ma’am, I am Kage Dooku of the Grey Jedi Order. I know you have more important things to do but I wanted to meet the head of operations here at KDY. Our fleet are in need of much needed repairs and to be upgraded from their current state. So, please forgive me for intruding your time.”
Corey looks at her and uses the force to sense her thoughts and what around her. He was not being noisy but he did not wish to let others know his business.

"Tell me, what is amiss....something new happen or the same as before?"
Arri fell into line with Urai and his counterpart, who had remained silently ominous the whole time, unsettlingly so.
"So far as I know, the situation is the same, though Tress sounded far less troubled the last I spoke to him...it isn't my business to be asking questions, nor suggesting things, but I have a personal interest in seeing that this...endeavour, is brought to a swift conclusion."
There wasn't a fiber of her being that wanted that peon, Taru, to live. Not after what he had said to her, what he had put everyone through, she couldn't imagine Khari wanted to spend another moment alone with that deviant either. It made her skin crawl to think that he might have made good of what he had said to her, but her gut said that hadn't happened....it also cained with the pain of having been punched there abruptly. She would get the 2-1B droid to look at it the first chance she got.
"And we are here..." She announced, stopping outside the main corridor that lead up to Khari's offices, placating the already over taxed secretary with a small gesture.
"Through there...you don't need an announcement, presumably?"

Khari frowned slightly, though didn't let any of her emotion seep into her tones, he was telling her what she had already been informed, but it was good to hear things from the mouthes of those who were supposedly speaking them. She inclined her head in the affirmative with every statment, looking up briefly as the door opened and two figures, accompanied by Arri, stepped through the open doorway...
Followed by a shriek -
Khari turned sharply on her heel, as if the comlink would have picked up the image of what was going on around her, when in reality all it would display was her head and shoulders, and prayed to whatever powers governed the universe, that Dooku had not heard Arri's exclaimation of shock....That scream had gone right through her.
Amazingly, she managed to hold it together. "An entire fleet? As I said before, that is quite the tall order...what kinds of repairs are we talking here, upgrades are not an issue, the standard time frame applies to them. I must admit, I find it odd that the grey Jedi of all people would be utilizing us, do you not have your own facilities on Zonama Sekot?" Not that she was complaining, business was business...and a good look at those ships would give she and her team of engineers something to mull over for the future.
At her back, Arri had needed to back up against the wall, hands over her mouth and nose as she stared at the grisly sight before her. Not out of fear, but the shock was something else...not to mention the smell, that made her stomach flip.

"Through there...you don't need an announcement, presumably?"
Urai stopped and looked around in side the offices. His predatory eyes looking at everything with a glance, then nodded his thanks to Arri.
Siara on the other hand who had been quiet all this time, caught Urai's attention with a look, his nod in return said he had felt it too. The Force gave them a better understanding than most realized. So as they walked in they were prepared for the scene inside.
"Tress..." Urai said looking at the other woman who had shrieked. "What troubles have you gotten into now?"
Tress was preoccupied in keeping his eyes on Khari that he finally turned to the three people entering. With a smile that he was famous for, he walked toward Urai. "About time you got here, old friend. A bit of a problem here as you can see...." His eyes were drawn to Siara and he nods his head at her in greetings.
Arri was in shock seeing Taru's body, but that was normal. "Arri you ok..?" he asks as the door closed before the secretary sees anything.

Corey places a smile on his face from her comment, he senses something was a little off. He looks at her as he sits down on the platform where his image that Khari was seeing now showed his shoulders as well. He thought for a moment and then spoke
“Yes, we do but if I use two facilities rather than one. I can get my fleet up and ready. As for what repairs I am in need of, we have been away for a few years in unknown area of space. So we have taken a lot of damage and with minimum repairs we were lucky to make it back in one piece. (small laughter)”
Corey thoughts shifted towards something was going on he could not place it without being rude and used the force to see for himself. He looks at Khari’s image an he see someone that’s not a force user but something about her got the hair on the back of his neck standing up, if he had hair on it.
“Sorry for being rude, but I did not get your name? Mine is Corey Dooku, I am the Leader of the Grey Jedi Order. I prefer to be call Corey, I hate to be so personal. I like to know who I am working with and I like to work with friends than titles.”
Corey eyes shifts as he looks at her

"Arri you ok..?"
Tress' voice broke her from her stark shock and nausea, her blue eyes gazing numbly back at him for a few seconds before she nodded in silence, she just hadn't been prepared for that grisly sight upon entry. Urai on the other hand didn't seem fazed by it at all, and neither did his counterpart.
When at last she did find her voice, it was shaky to say the least.
"I'm sorry....I just wasn't expecting." She turned her gaze away from the bloodied mess in the center of the room. "...to see all of that, I mean....what happened?"
Watching Khari pace around the room, still involved in a conversation she wasn't privy to, Arri soon happened upon the blaster resting upon the desk top and things started to become clear, this wasn't an execution so much as the scene of some snap decision. Everything about the immediate area suggested attack. Taru should have given up when he had the chance, now there was quite the mess to clean up.
Across the way, Khari was still in deep conversation with Corey, trying to pay the scene at her back no mind at all, which was difficult when with each breath you smelt death and blood.
"Did I not give you my name before? " She queried, certain that she had, "I am Lady Khari Vestra, Khari will suffice, I preferred to keep things informal when dealing with large claims customers. The outer reaches of the unknown regions seem to be full of peril it seems...I have heard rumours of some of the more deeply entrenched Yuuzhan Vong taken worlds are still holding fast out there, your repairs must be extensive."
It wouldn't be a chore to get those done for him, the engineering crews would find it a delight to get their hands on that kind of technology...inspiration was better than all the design talks in the galaxy.
"How many ships in the half of the fleet you wish to bring here? I will need figures to give you an exact idea of what will be encurred. And it is a pleasure to meet you, by the way."
As long as he did not wish to visit at the immediate moment, they would be fine, the Kuat system's traffic zones would cause them issues and slow them down regardless, especially a large fleet. He was fortunate security hadn't taken their arrival as a threat. The lines of communication now firmly opened, she turned her head to glance back over one shoulder at the entering entourage. She hoped Urai was as good as Tress made him sound.

"I'm sorry....I just wasn't expecting." She turned her gaze away from the bloodied mess in the center of the room. "...to see all of that, I mean....what happened?"
Tress kept on looking at Arri for a second to make sure she was OK. Then looked at Khari who was still in a conversation with someone named Kage Dooku, all the wealthy families had weird names this one was no different, but that was besides the point. Turning to Urai and Arri, he tells them what had happened so far.
"Things got worse....he tried to force Khari into something in front of me, and she dealt with things. Urai we need this taken care of, no evidence....I want him gone with no trace." He tells Urai in a low voice keeping their conversation secret from being heard on khari's com link.
Siara was silent during all this, looking without commenting, but this was to much. "You bring me all this way to help over a mater that could have been dealt with by the local criminal element?" She turns to Urai her face bored and showing signs of anger. "He him shoved out the air lock, down the disposal chute....it doesn't really matter. Males can easily be replaced."
Tress finally looked at Siara. "So your the one, huh? I don't mind women that have their own mind..." He made it a point to look at Khari and glance at Arri. " But, you were brought her to assist in this matter and anything Urai thinks important. My name is Tress Odak-Zann, your mother worked under the leadership of my grandfather Tyber....." He tells her as he steps closer, looking at her alone. "You are here cause we need someone of your talents. If you don't like it here...go back to where you came from."
He just turns his back on her, talking to Urai again. "So, Fenn what do you think? Can we clean this up....this cant come back to haunt us...."

"Things got worse....he tried to force Khari into something in front of me, and she dealt with things. Urai we need this taken care of, no evidence....I want him gone with no trace."
The blonde haired woman's eyes grew wider, unable to keep herself from glancing at the fallen man's corpse one last time, the messy ruin where his face had once been. And again she felt her stomach flip.
"Lady Vestra....did that?" She was unable to keep the slight measure of surprise out of her voice, it wasn't uncommon for the upper echelons of society to have something like this carried out, far from it, in fact it was to be expected, but that was done by others, those far removed from anyone in the same circles. Not the noble themselves.
When next she looked at Tress, he might have been able to tell she was thinking exactly the same thing he had moments earlier - that it wouldn't be a good idea to piss Khari off anytime soon, much less blackmail her.
Gesturing to Khari, who still appeared to be in deep conversation to whoever was on the other end of that comlink, Arri frowned. "Is she alright?"
As if the presence of the nightsister hadn't been unsettling enough, she might have advised differently about having that one here to begin with. But for whatever the reason, Tress didn't seem nearly as unsettled by her being here than she did, still, they were all offworlders.
"You bring me all this way to help over a mater that could have been dealt with by the local criminal element?" She turns to Urai her face bored and showing signs of anger. "He him shoved out the air lock, down the disposal chute....it doesn't really matter. Males can easily be replaced."
Khari turned and shot the nightsister a rather curious glance at that point, she couldn't think of a more fitting end, out with the garbage and all that, but that was sloppy handiwork. She would have said as much, but her thoughts were preoccupied right now, she needed to finish this call as well as possible, if there really was a halfway Sekotan fleet out there, she wanted to have her best take a look at it and glean what they could.
"You will have to excuse me, Kage Dooku, I was rather in the middle of something when your communique was patched through to me. But I think we can find room for the repairs and upgrades you require, not all can be done locally, but throughout the system that should not be a problem at all. " Quirking a brow at Tress in silent askence, questioning the current state of the situation, she concluded her call, "I'll ensure someone is sent to meet you when you arrive, I will be along shortly thereafter to discuss things in full."
It wasn't like her to go in person but this was a unique opportunity here, but first thing was first...the big seething mess in the center of her richly appointed office...what fun this was going to be.
"No, no, I agree with..." she peered at Siara cautiously, though respectfully, "...I'm sorry I didn't catch your name, but I agree with you entirely, if the nearest airlock were proficient enough...but I would rather he didn't linger around out there, floating about for the construction crews to see."

Urai had been busy looking around, seeing the dead corpse and the blaster on the desk. They would need to be cleaned up. The body had bled on the floor, but a cleaning droid would clean things up and then its memory wiped to leave no evidence. The blaster was not a problem, he would take it and give her another to replace it.
The question was how to move the body without anyone outside being none the wiser. It would have to wait until later. A 'cleaning crew' could be brought in and do what was necessary. "I want everyone out of here, with orders that no matter what no one can enter but for those here." He tells Tress, but finished as he glances at Khari. She would have more power as this was her place, not theirs.
"You girl, shall stay and help as you know the place better than the rest of us..." He points at Arri. "Tress, go and be scene out there doing something. Take a tour of the space docks..." He tells Tress and Khari nodding. " I am Urai Fenn, and this is Siara of Whisper Falls Clan." He tells Khari by way of greeting. He took charge as he always did, when things considered Tress.
Tress on the other hand was smiling enjoying this to much. The way Urai just issued orders without pause and from people he didn't know. He was being nice about it, too....sort of. He looked at Khari and Arri to see if they were OK, and nodded to Arri as she asked something. "Is she alright?"
She had to be, later he would try to get her to talk about it. Together they would work through the bad memories, or help her cope in some way. "I hope so, Arri....i hope so. " he whisper to her.
"Khari? Can we take a tour, maybe lunch or drinks....lets go." he asks plainly.

"I want everyone out of here, with orders that no matter what no one can enter but for those here."
That wouldn't be a problem, Khari thought, nodding blindly at the strange being that was Urai, somewhat entranced by how well he seemed to handle the situation, but then he was used to this kind of dirty work, wasn't he. And the nightsister just had to be, it WAS her line of work when she wasn't defending her clan's territory...how one of her ilk had fallen in with Zann, she wasn't sure, but it was best not to pry.
"No problem, really...I can send the staff on long errunds, it should give you enough time to do what you have to." Khari informed them cooly, trying her best to keep her mind on the technicalities of the task rather than the bare bones of the matter...which still lay in a bloodied heap before her feet.
Don't think about it, just focus.
"The rest is in your hands it seems...and thank you. If you ever need a favour, one that I might help with, I would be endebted to you."
"Khari? Can we take a tour, maybe lunch or drinks....lets go."
Those words were music to her ears, but there was still something that she needed to take care of. Smiling faintly at Tress, she motioned with both hands, palms spread to the rather incriminating splatters of crimson down the front of what had once been a spotless gown of light blue.
"Of course...but I need to stop by my private quarters here first, to change I think." She took a few steps towards the door, enfolding the overrobe around herself, pulling it's clean concealing layers over the crimson stains. The gown it's self could be incinerated, she had the means, then Urai could take care of the mess here and no one need be any the wiser...so she hoped.

Good. Urai thought as they started moving about do as he had asked. Now he turned to Siara and Arri, who he had conscripted for her knowledge of the area. "A droid, a cleaning droid. I will deal with this mess, wrapping the body in the rug. The Droid will clean after us....Arri, a large container or waste disposal unit would help us move around freely." He turns to talking to Arri.
Squaring off against Siara, hes demeanor fierce as he gains his full height. "Never disrespect Tress again.....you are here to work, not question orders. Whether they come from me or him, who is in charge." She should learn that quickly, that any disrespect at Tress was not going to be tolerated by him.
"Now come and help me roll this corpse up in the rug its resting on." Just like that he had changed back to work mode, never letting her be fooled that he wasn't paying complete attention to everything in the room. He hadn't lived 4,000 yrs for nothing.
Kneeling he starts by adjusting the body better to be rolled in the the rub, so it was completely covered head to toe.....
***
The smile she gave him, even the slight one she showed warmed his heart. She would be OK, she was strong and a survivor.
"Of course...but I need to stop by my private quarters here first, to change I think."
Looking at her he nodded seeing for the first time, the splatters of blood on her dress. "Yes, come then...let me get you out of here and changed." He started to follow but stopped and turned to look at Arri. He didn't want to have her stay if she had other things to do, or would rather not stay.
"Arri? You don't have to stay here..." He tells her.
