Turns the burner down a few notches. "I always thought the higher the temperature, the quicker the food cooked...?"
She turns to Luke and points the spatula at him. "Whatever, farmboy, you can't blame a two year old for your big mouth."

She shakes her head in amusement as she finishes up the bacon. "Ok, at least part of the meal is safe to eat." She looks over at Mara's eggs, winces inwardly." Hotter just makes them cook unevenly Mara, not make them cook faster." she wonders how she's going to choke down the dried out looking eggs she so carefully seasoned.

Mara laughs in spite of herself. "That's true about Threepio, though he had to have heard it from SOMEONE." She turns off the burner and sets the eggs aside. "I do believe they are finished."

Luke gets some eggs and bacon, seasons his eggs, and digs in heartily. "This is good, both of you." Between mouthfuls he grins at the other three, gets up and grabs seconds.

She gingerly picks through her small portion of eggs and swallows them like a sport. "Thanks Luke. No big deal." She laughs inwardly at him being a coward to his wife and takes a long sip of the hot caf she made while the bacon was frying.
"Mmmm.. caf is the universe's way of telling us she loves us and wants us to be happy."

He's eaten worse....the key is to eat it down fast so he scarfs the eggs and bacon down....just in time he swallows his caf down as his data pad beeps pulling it out he reads the results and let's out a whoop of joy.

Mara eats her eggs thinking they just might be the best damn eggs she's ever eaten. She finishes her bacon and gulps down some caf.
"I'm done." She stands up and washes off her plate. "Let's get this show on the road.

Cleaning her plate of every bite of food she takes it to the wash tub and is cleaning it when Pappy starts caterwauling. "Good news dear?" She asks mildly.

Looking at Pappy with curiosity she replies, "I remember grueling training sessions with a wrinkly, smelly old man who'd zap me with lightning if I made a mistake." Feeling her mood getting darker she asks, "Why do you want to know?"
