Mara and Luke finish up their dinner and then attempt to squeeze into one bedroll. It's a tighter fit than Mara originally estimated but comfortable enough.
After a few minutes Mara whispers to Luke, "Um, Luke...did you forget to take your lightsaber off your belt? There are other people in this cave."
"Blast it." Luke blushes and Mara laughs quietly at him. "I forgot to take it off. Sorry." He reaches down and unhooks his lightsaber from his belt, then sets it next to him on the ground.
Still laughing Mara says, "Good night, farmboy."
Luke sighs and kisses her good night. "Good night, Mara."

Luke wakes up a couple of hours later, unable to sleep. After some effort, he is able to get up without disturbing Mara. He picks up his lightsaber and clips it to his belt. He heads to the mouth of the cave and closes his eyes. He listens to the sounds of the night. He hears the running water of the stream behind him. He feels the breeze on his face, warmer than the air behind him.
Luke turns around and heads to the edge of the camp facing inward in the cave. He sits down, facing the general direction of the glyphs. He calms his body, then his mind. Opening himself up to the Force, Luke begins to allow himself "feel" the cave. He is determined to see if he can pick up on why his father was here. He sees the indigenous people going about their daily lives, then he focuses on this immediate area. Images come and go of Imperial presence, then an image of Darth Vader. Luke sees him searching, but finding nothing. There is a sense of frustration, but nothing more definite comes.
As Luke begins to withdraw from the vision, he sees a hooded figure making the glyphs. He stops and begins to focus on this new vision. But the harder he tries, the more vague it becomes. It disappears without Luke seeing the face of the individual. Slowly he comes back to the present and he finds himself seated on the cave floor. The others are still sleeping.
Luke checks his chrono. They should be waking soon. He sets about getting fresh water for breakfast. He uses the refresher and gets dressed. He sits down and begins to go through some exercises designed to heighten awareness. He waits for the others to wake up.

Mara wakes and stretches, then rolls up the bedroll and stuffs it back in the travel pack. After a visit to the 'fresher she takes a few minutes to comm the Temple to check on Ben. Ben's nanny droid informs her that the boy is taking his afternoon nap, and not wanting to wake him up, Mara asks the droid to tell Ben she loves him and they will be back in a few days.
She replaces her comlink back on her belt and fights back a surge of anxiousness. She's been thinking about who Pappy might have seen all night.

He awakes from a fitful sleep. Noticing Luke and Mara have wandered off he stretches and kisses Gert's forehead and heads outside. Looking at his wrist chrono he pulls out his com link "VF...are you here?" There is a brief pause " I have been here for 78.692 standard minutes sir and......." He chuckles and breaks in "VF please land immediately on the far side of the Stalker...and stay in stealth mode." He walks under the Stalker waiting for VF-84 to land.

Luke got up and walked over to Mara. "How's Ben doing?"
"Good, but sleeping. I told them not to wake him." Mara had a look of discouragement as she said it.
"We'll be home in no time, " said Luke, trying to cheer her up. "What say we go over and see what Pappy is up to."
"And see if he will tell anymore about last night at the glyphs, " said a determined Mara.

Yawning awake at her husband's kiss she sits up and looks around. "Lovely accommodations we have here. May I speak to the concierge?" Shaking her head to get the sand out of it she gets up and heads for the fresher. When she returns she puts her saber back on her belt and checks her pockets for the equipment she expects to have on her. Satisfied she has everything she wanders over to Luke and Mara. "Mornin fellow archiologysts." She yawns again. "Are we having fun yet? Does anyone want scrambled gornt eggs?"

"That sounds great. Thank you Gert." Luke's stomach gives a little rumble. "Excuse me, I'm a little hungry."

The only way you would know the shuttle is landing is by the dust cloud it stirs up as it settles to the ground. After a moment the droid VF-84 comes walking down the ramp and heads towards Pap. He hands him a data chip "There is not much there sir but I hope it helps you in some way."
Pap takes the chip and nods. "Thanks again....how's the Mjolnir?" VF answers "Fine sir but DAVE requested that you make an appearance soon so he can discuss some issues with you. Will that be all sir?" Pap smiles "Tell DAVE I'll visit soon and yes you may go. Thanks again VF"
The droid turns and in short another dust cloud erupts and the ship is gone. Pap inserts the data chip into his data pad and asks it to cross reference the pictures with the data he just received. The timer says 15 minutes till completion. Good plenty of time to have breakfast.
He walks bank into the cave and is greeted by the delicious smells of his wife cooking "Smells great dear" and takes a seat.

She smiles at Mara. "Sure. I made up a packet of pre-seasoned eggs so all you have to do is put a bit of oil in the pan, heat it up and away you go." She hands Mara the clear plastic bag. "I think I'll handle the bacon myself. I've heard stories about your ahhh... frying techniques..." She chuckles and gives Luke a guilty smile. "I don't think you can destroy eggs other than make them rubbery I guess and then at least they are still edible."

Like he'd get anything ELSE if he complained she thinks to herself as the smell of salty bacon fills the cave.

Mara takes the egg packet from Gert, while glaring at Luke.
"Been telling tall tales about my cooking prowess, Skywalker?" She dumps some oil in the pan and sets the burner on high.
