Corey walks slowly as he watches Arri, he places one hand on the wall which was made of flesh. Some wires could be seen but not many, the floor was soft to walk on as it was slightly darker than on a regular ship. Corey was even more stunned by her beauty as the low light reflected showing off her e, she was full of wonder wanting to know more about Selena. He stops for a moment and turns to look at her.
“Selena can hear you but there is something you have to do to be able to hear her. We are connected because of a process, I did not choose her she choice me. It’s a long and hard road to walk down to create a living ship. I do not think of her as a ship but as a equal. “
Corey pause for a moment as he gesture to continue to the bridge of the ship but its really the head of ship. Once there you could not see outside there was no screen to look out. Corey smiles once again at her, he once again gestured for her to sit in his command seat.
“Selena, be nice. She wanted to see how you could communicate to me. (Laughs slightly) No Selena, she was just curious and she is not staying with us. (looks down at Arri) The vines will slowly come out of the seat and connect to our legs, arms and the back of your neck. It might sting just a little but it will pass. If you don’t like the feel you can tell her to stop and she will.”
Corey smiles as he sits in another chair as the vines connect to him very quickly. Corey keeps his eyes on Arri as he waits to see if she was ready. Official business can wait until after this, he wanted to see if she would go through the experience. Corey did wonder why Lady Khari did not come, and to send someone else would be a insult. Corey was not blind, he does senses a lot coming off of Arri. He wants to wait to see where this goes, if its good then maybe he might try to find out what was really going on.

"My family owes yours repercussions ...so i will settle them. I agree to be your telbun....." He closed his eyes and let out a breathe of acceptance.
What did one say to that? She was already on the verge of hysterical laughter before that, now it just weakened the proverbial gates. He couldn't be serious?...could he?
Taking a deep breath to settle her urge to simply laugh until she passed out, she regained that strict control over her emotions and exhaled slowly. Extending a hand to him again, she patted him on the shoulder and looked him straight in the eye, a deadly serious expression on her face. Belaying the tumult of humour inside, Khari dared one more time...
"Tress...you know that I love you, don't you?" She nodded as if to accent that point that didn't need, "And you know that I would support you in this decision if it is indeed what you believe is the right thing to do."
This time she took his hand in hers, still keeping his attention focussed on her gaze, or rather, the glimmer of something else that danced gleefully behind them.
"But I must tell you this, I simply cannot hold it in any longer..." Pausing for effect, she finally came out with it. "You would possibly make the worst telbun in the history of telbuns, if it was not for one gleaming example of something they do...and I am not talking about your table manners, though the kitchen surface of that Hotel was put to a particularly interesting use if I do say so myself."
With a judicious nod, Khari concluded that with a rather provocative wink, then let the ruse drop completely. "Stop toying with me, you...I no more desire you to be my telbun than you would have me as yours. We would both make lousy ones. Now...about these plans?"
Setting the empty glass down she rose from the couch to saunter across the living space, disappearing into a nearby storache niche to return with a rather unusual looking datapad. This one, designed and manufactured here on Kuat, was a direct interface with all of those systems utilized throughout the orbital array. Handing it to him after turning it on, she motioned to the display.
"The current economic details of all aspects of this orbital array should be on there, be it output or general commerce, it's there." she walked around behind him, hips swaying gently as she walked, accentuated entirely by the close fitting jumpsuit, she leaned over the back of the couch, resting her chin against his shoulder as she pointed to several aspects on screen.
"The interface won't work for you...most of us have small cybernetic implants in our fingertips and/or retina, it's reactive....so don't even think of trying to read my journal. "

He kept the straight face, never once betraying his humor in this topic. He wouldn't mind being her telbun, in some cases....others he would have no of. They suited each other better how they were, with each wanting to be with the other. It was special, it was exciting, and it was explosive....suited each other was to tame, they were made for the other.
He heard all she had to say while looking at her, as she was doing the same to him. "Stop toying with me, you...I no more desire you to be my telbun than you would have me as yours. We would both make lousy ones. Now...about these plans?"
Winking was his way of saying, well played, but the chuckle was pure mischief on his part. He had tried to get her, shock her but she had seen past it. But on to business. "I dont know about certain things for our plans to take fruit. The benefit is gaining a contract with the RGE for KDY. More business revenues for you....which can lead to other things. Thats the main goal.....of course the RGE gets ships for their fleets."
He watched her in her tight body suit as she walked away from him, his eyes traveling her form liking what he saw. It brought 'up' certain things....uh, what had he been talking about? Business, yes on with that. Though as she walked back, he lost track of things again. Her being beautiful had never in doubt, she breathed it, she exuded it, she was complete in and out just beauty. So it was with great hard...uh, hardship that he focused on what she was giving him. Looking at it he browsed it quickly as she walked behind him and laid her chin on his shoulder pointing out various little details on the data-pad.
"The current economic details of all aspects of this orbital array should be on there, be it output or general commerce, it's there. The interface won't work for you...most of us have small cybernetic implants in our fingertips and/or retina, it's reactive....so don't even think of trying to read my journal. "
"Journal?" He looks at her so close he could kiss her, which he did....never waste an opportunity, that was his motto. "So...where do we start. This is your area." He wanted to ask her about the cybernetic implants, but business first, pleasure later...or maybe he could do both at the same time.

"Journal?"
She nodded ever so slightly, "Oh yes, kept one since I was a child, it helped me practice my writing skills. Put all my dirty little secrets in it." Watching as he turned his head toward hers, kissing her opportunistically, she returned that in full, trying not to let herself get too far off track...if it wasn't too late already.
"So...where do we start. This is your area."
Giving another nod she decided to get to work, but not without a small quip, "Yes indeed it is, not that you would dare do anything as invasive as encroaching on my areas."
Before he had too much time to contemplate that one, she let her fingertips play over the surface of the datapad lightly, bringing up the current details for their turnover for that quarter. As it was the empire did procure much from them on a far lesser scale than might be required, but their accounts were always brimming, if there was one thing the empire never did, was become tardy in their payments. What did become clear the more the datastream showed - alligning it along side a split screen with their main competitiors - was that there wasn't much that KDY had in terms of something that would irrifutably set them apart from all the rest.
Something more innovative than was current, things on a scale people had never thought possible...and that she could offer to the empire, in return for the favours of a commercial alliance.
"I have a feeling that our friend, Kage Dooku, arrived rather proficiently when he did...I wouldn't mind getting a closer look at some of those living ships, would you?" She asked, arching a perfectly manicured eyebrow, her voice belaying nothing of the sly undertones. "Not now, mind...the good Grey Jedi will need some rest, that leaves us an insurmountable window of time to gather some of the information we could find useful...and I could easily have the engineers do the rest in the meanwhile without adding too much a burden to their workloads."
Now that might be something she was onto there, and the modifications to the main portion of Dooku's fleet would be carried out over the next few days, that left them a large window of opportunity there. And she just knew the design technicians were itching to get a look at those things themselves.
"How's your stealth? You already know a small fraction of how I used to go unseen but we won't need nearly that much subterfuge, besides, it could be exciting."
Pulling back slightly, she rubbed his shoulders lightly, massaging away the kinks of tension that might have been there before, when a small static snap issued from one of her fingers at the contact, essentially a static shock.
"Sorry, cybernetic synapse implants like I said...they have their moments. So...what say you? Do you want to head that way now, or find another means to pass the time...you never did get that food you wanted."

As Corey sits connected to Selena, he feels something through the force. It was just out of his reach, something he had to keep up his guard. Only for a moment he felt uneasy as if he was being watched, he shook off the feeling remembering he was connected to Selena. He heard a woman’s voice in his head, and two small kids in the back ground. Selena felt it also, she tried to comfort Corey that it was ok and not to worry about it.
He has not heard it in sometime, he closed his eyes tight and Selena opens hers as he could see inside the bay. Nothing was going on outside the ship that he could worry about, but he almost forgot he had Arri still on board waiting to see if she wanted to let Selena connect with her.

"Yes indeed it is, not that you would dare do anything as invasive as encroaching on my areas."
Encroaching in her areas, sounded fun, though he didn't think what she meant was what he was thinking. Then again it might have been, which had him chuckling at her.
He turned to look at her with that one. Was she saying what he thought the was? The thought of living ships had always been a goal to every ship manufacturer in the galaxy. Last he had heard about it was that only the Yuuzhan Vong and Zonama Sekot had gone anywhere close to the success they had envisioned. Being the first to have one on the market could mean big things for KDY.
"How's your stealth? You already know a small fraction of how I used to go unseen but we won't need nearly that much subterfuge, besides, it could be exciting."
As she rubbed his shoulders felt a small current from one of her fingers, essentially a static shock from her modified implants. It brought certain plans into play, but he had to leave them for later. There was business to discuss.
"Sorry, cybernetic synapse implants like I said...they have their moments. So...what say you? Do you want to head that way now, or find another means to pass the time...you never did get that food you wanted."
"Lets go introduce ourselves to the Kage Dooku, and see the lay of the land...." He says thinking of everything. Urai once finished needed something to do, why not send him to go gather info on Zonama Sekot. "The Vongs and Sekots ships....if we could get our hands on one of them. It would greatly help us further in this. Could be a good idea to ask your guest some questions...." He would like to see Zonama Sekot himself, so one of the questions would have to be on the current state the planet was in and security there...things along that line.

He seemed every bit as keen as her on the idea, and with his resolution she tapped him on either shoulder, palms down so as not to elicit another static shock response and nodded resolutely herself.
"That settles it then...though an informal introduction wasn't exactly what I had in mind, more a casual...oh I don't know, bit of recon?"
Rising to stand, she fixed him with a wryly curious glance, wondering if he was privy to her thoughts at present, or if he had misinterpreted her. If they did run into this Kage Dooku, all the better, they might even get a free tour if they were lucky, but going it alone made no difference to Khari. Her intention wasn't to do any harm, just take a look at a few key points. If anything, Dooku should have been pleased she considered this worth her while.
"Arri will probably have him engrossed in the logistics of his contract with us, it leaves us the freedom to take a closer look at this fleet of his, see what really makes these things the envy of both KDY and it's competitors." It was then that Khari felt the need to justify herself, for she could almost imagine him having some form of quip over that. "What? It's not like he wouldn't do likewise in my position...In fact since he is 'Kage' Dooku, I imagine he's done far worse."
She was already halfway to the door when she looked back at him, beconning him to follow her with one motion of her hand.
"Are you coming with me or do you plan on making yourself comfortable there?"
Arri's responses were on the reserved side, she didn't know what to make of this ship, nor really what Corey was saying in conversation with it...how could he tell what the vessel was saying to him? And more to the point, how could she tell what it was feeling in regards to her presence here.
"Be nice...is it...umm I mean, she alright with me being here?" She queried somewhat nervously, but the curiosity was still plain to see in her every gesture.
Still, she was somewhat nervous about placing anything down on any surface aside from the rather plain looking floor. What if that offended it....did ships actually have feelings? The true connotations were beginning to mind boggle her completely, so it was best to focus on the main reason why she was here.
"I think i'll pass on sitting down, if it's all the same to you. I just really came to see that your needs were catered to, finish off a few of the finer details...assuming you have the data you want transferred in terms of modifications to your fleet?"
Casting a glance back at that pilots chair, the vines still hanging rather inocuously where they were, Arri thought better of it, even offering something of an apologetic smile at her sudden recoil. It all smacked of the Yuuzhan Vong war to her, and that was something she found hard to forget when she'd seen her homeworld near torn to shreds by stuff woefully similar to this.

Recon? This was down right almost corporate theft. As with any criminal activity he was in, he thought with sarcastic smirk. He was a criminal, and was now using politics to swindle, extort and grow even stronger.
"I guess i will follow your lead then, besides i like the view from behind...." He tells her sitting there looking up at her. "Do i have to dress as a telbun?" he says to change the subject.

"No doubt about it, getting to be leader of any group....one has to have broken a few rules. This Kage is no different." He finishes his drink at last and looks into it, thinking of other things for a moment.
"Are you coming with me or do you plan on making yourself comfortable there?" she said it with a wave of her hand beckoning him to follow. He raised an eyebrow at that.
"I was enjoying the view at eye level, but i guess we can leave now....don't want the mistress Vestra to get bossy now do we. " Getting up he places his empty glass down and follows her out.

"I guess i will follow your lead then, besides i like the view from behind...." He tells her sitting there looking up at her. "Do i have to dress as a telbun?" he says to change the subject.
She hadn't really given that much serious thought and the question definitely threw her off for a moment. She didn't know what he'd done with that set of robes he'd smugled him in here in and she was pretty certain that Taru wouldn't have stored any spares here either. This was the second time she had been here since moving much of her belongings here to begin with. It was never meant to be a permenant home. It still wasn't.
"You'll do...if anyone asks, you should come up with an appropriate excuse." She left that one to him, if they asked her, then she would think of one, either way, the problem was solved, "And 'I am the grandson of Tyber Zann' is not an appropriate excuse."
While her tones were clipped and precise, she was careful not to let herself get carried away with that demanding nature of hers, she was only jesting after all, hopefully he'd see the funny side.
"I was enjoying the view at eye level, but i guess we can leave now....don't want the mistress Vestra to get bossy now do we. "
Khari bit down on the urge to laugh at that, instead letting the remnants of a smile bleed through that toughened rigid control of hers. But as ever, she just couldn't help herself, perpetuating things as always, as they seemed to do between the two of them. Ah, she thought, it did not bear thinking what an onlooker would make of the tension between them, jovial, sexual or otherwise.
"I see we are learning." She replied very saccharine in her manner, a little too sweetly, "That wasn't so hard was it? I'll have you eating out of the palm of my hand before the day is out, who would have thought it?"
With a very highly strung straightening of her posture, haughty demeanour back in full force, she made it to the door before she paused to check on his proximity. The last thing she wanted was for him to do as he had done the moment she had set foot on the landing ramp from his shuttle. She wasn't going to shriek if she wasn't surprised, and she wouldn't be surprised if she knew where he was and what he was doing.
Casting a curious glance back - though not too curious, she didn't want to seem as if she was too concerned - she observed him carefully.
"Well? I hope you have your story straight."

"Well? I hope you have your story straight."
"I'll do....?" was that meant to strike confidence in him, it was a blow to his ego. Now he felt uncomfortable, out of place. "Would the son of Tyber be better, you think?" He asks looking at her out of the corner of his eye for any reaction to that.
Her earlier comment had him thinking of what she had said. "I see we are learning." She replied very saccharine in her manner, a little too sweetly, "That wasn't so hard was it? I'll have you eating out of the palm of my hand before the day is out, who would have thought it?" Eating out of her palm of her hand. Eating? Maybe nibble at the fleshy part of her palm, eating was reserved for other things. Though now wasn't the time to think such thoughts, maybe later he would show her.
"How do this things work, this living ships? Can we take a sample of it and recreate it to our specifications?" Something like cloning he was thinking. They could keep the Kage busy while they did their work on the side. That or work while taking a tour, he had a ring that doubled as a syringe, it could inject or extract. He act as he fell and take a sample that way, it would disguise what he had done as his whole hand would be felt and not just the prick of the needle.
He would have to think on it some more as they walked. "What can you tell me about these ships. The Vongs as well.....do we have up to date info on them?" He had said we again felt strange but he was beginning to like it.

"Would the son of Tyber be better, you think?"
She hadn't gotten that far past the threshold of the door when he uttered that little nuance. Turning sharply on her heel she came almost face to face with him without realizing quite how closely behind her he had been that time, the apparent surprise only registering in her eyes momentarily before she reined that in double the speed. What she didn't do, was give him ground, she liked him up close and personal.
"No worse than it would be for me to walk into the palace of a hutt and asking if anyone minded me 'doing a little dance.'" Come to think of it, perhaps that was a poor choice of words, she didn't want to think about that image, never mind what ideas it gave him. But she thought better of discouraging that verbally, it would only give him more ammo for whenever he chose to take advantage of it.
As he seemed to do so often...take advantage of the situation, that was part and parcel of what made him the ever opportunistic rogue, she mused, and she didn't see that as such a bad thing at all, quite the opposite. There had been several times on the journey back where he'd used that opportunistic streak to - And now her mind was wandering, as were her hands, though for the life of her she hadn't actually remembered placing them on him at any point during that little exchange, still they were there now, not exactly obscenely, who would mind? Thankfully, he brought her back down to the ground again with a seriously asked question.
"How do this things work, this living ships? Can we take a sample of it and recreate it to our specifications?"
"These aren't completely living ships, not like you will remember from the vong war. Rather these were the perfect combination of both technology and biotech. How has always been a mystery, one the Ferroans and Vong both have been keen to hide from the rest of us...I suppose if there were to be one export from Zonama Sekot, this would be their best opportunity. But not if we beat them to it...expand on their ideas." Now it was her turn to ignite that roguish glint in her eye...perhaps he was rubbing off on her somehow and she hadn't noticed, not that she minded. She was hardly a hardened criminal....and that brought back a fresh pang of pain, what she had done barely hours ago. Perhaps it had been too soon to be delving into other endeavours?
No...you need this, you need the focus, the distraction - her conscience reminded her, the sense in the tumult of chaos. At least something was functioning correctly within her.
Shaking free of her guilt she listened to him talk, taking a small hald a pace back so that he was in focus again, giving her a better idea to guage his true feelings on the matter....but all she ended up doing was getting lost in those thoughts again. His eyes seemed almost quiescently pensive, though even when she couldn't read him through them she found that face of his inviting, especially his lips...
"What can you tell me about these ships. The Vongs as well.....do we have up to date info on them?"
Foolishly, and with a great deal of inner embarrassment, Khari realized she hadn't actually taken that last part in much at all. The words had gone in, but were taking far longer than was necessary for them to actually make sense enough for her to return with some form of response. So all that came out was a rather quietly bemused "Uhh sorry?"
Blinking at her own apparent lack of tact, she frowned then shook her head, waving off that comment when she actually did have an answer that would make some semblance of sense.
"Never mind...I know only as much as I have told you now, the ferroans were always very secretive about their work, the Grey Jedi seem all too respectful of their wishes too. It hasn't been for want of trying, simply we lack the bioengineering skill of Sekot's native life, or the Yuuzhan Vong's shaping, I think they call it. As for the Vong themselves, I would not know I was as glad to see the back of them as any core-world native."

"No worse than it would be for me to walk into the palace of a hutt and asking if anyone minded me 'doing a little dance.'"
She asks him so close he could feel her breathe against his lips, so he did what he wanted as he always did. He kissed her, just a brush of his lips against her. It was meant to entice nothing else. "So i take it me saying i am Tybers anything is out of the question...." he says brushing his lips against her again and continues talking. "And you will never dance for the hutts...but i might remind you later on and you can entertain me with your moves."
She was else where it seemed as he talked to her about things. Maybe he had succeeded in distracting her, it would be easy to push her over the edge and take advantage of the situation. Though there was time and teasing her throughout the day would give him better results in the end.
"Fine fine....shall we go then or are you to busy thinking of undressing me with your eyes. " he said it in jest, but he was hoping for some sort of denial. Some quick reply showing that she was in fact doing what he had just said. It would give him so many things to get her with.....

"So i take it me saying i am Tybers anything is out of the question...."
The subtle brush of his lips against hers did much to stirr desire within her, as if they had ever lain dormant for long, the idea would have been funny had she not been denying it viehemently. And he would dare to steal that kiss, just as she dared return it in kind, in the spirit with which it was issued her way, temptation...she wasn't that easily broken.
"Mmmhmm, I wouldn't even suggest I had breathed the same recycled air as him if I were truly wishing to avoid suspicion." She murmured back, having to really resist the urge not to go back for seconds.
"And you will never dance for the hutts...but i might remind you later on and you can entertain me with your moves."
A highly amused chuckle left her lips at that moment and she leaned back on her heels, cooling her proverbial ones in the process, as she did as much. Shaking her head, still trying to repress laughter she patted him lightly on the shoulder.
"Some things really should be left to the imagination, that my dear, is one of them, I don't dance like that for Hutt nor dignitary, regardless of if I am able to or not." No, she was far too refined for that, she assured herself, but he would probably persue that avenue at some point. No matter, she would deal with that as and when the matter arose.
"Fine fine....shall we go then or are you to busy thinking of undressing me with your eyes. "
Her eyes filled with incredulity one moment, defiance the next which slowly transformed into a mild form of outrage. Although she might not have realized it, her posture didn't exactly help matters, placing one hand on her hip as she held herself aloft as if she had done nothing of the sort. And that was exactly what she should have told him....
"I don't know what you are talking about, besides, if I were considering undressing you, it's not my eyes you would need to worry about."
With that, she spun sharply back round on one heel, eliciting a screech of a response out of the durasteel floor panneling, before marching off down the narrow corridoor towards the main atrium of the nearby offices. From there she could make it out into the corporate sector of the array and onto engineering. So brisk was her pace, that it might even have cooled the rosy tinge of blush that had well and truly coloured her cheeks.

So she didn't want to breathe the same air as him? Why was he here again? Never mind, on with things he would let that one slide, but will use it later one to get her back at some point.
Her other comment had him raising his eyebrow asking a silent question from her. "Some things really should be left to the imagination, that my dear, is one of them, I don't dance like that for Hutt nor dignitary, regardless of if I am able to or not." She had said.
"I am either of those, but something more....do i get that privilege? Of you dancing that is...." He mentions as he looks her up and down imagining her in a....well what she had on was good enough. More than good enough. "I do plan on reminding you later....there will be a dance form you or there will be retribution." He mock threats her.
"I don't know what you are talking about, besides, if I were considering undressing you, it's not my eyes you would need to worry about."
"Its not nice to make things up, Khari....own up to your folly. You were caught red handed...." That he had to laugh about, she was well and truly caught. He was still chuckling as he began int follow her, his eyes on the sway of her hips. That tight jump suit she was wearing left nothing to the imagination.....which of course he love it for that reason. He was hoping there would be many empty rooms or storage spaces to...uh, distract her from the things on hand. You never know what might happen at KDY....there was a touch of excellence in the air. Made people want to excel at things.......

"I do plan on reminding you later....there will be a dance form you or there will be retribution."
He might have sounded like he was joking about that but she had it on good authority he never seemed to forget little things like that, but that didn't deter her, not in the slightest. Just meant she would find another way to outsmart him eventually, upping the stakes yet again until he found a way to counter.
"I can take anything your devious little mind can dish out, just you try it." She replied mock challengingly, jesting along with him, or so she thought.
She had been several paces away when he spoke out his last retort, however, mind already far beyond that when it did reach her ears, she stopped dead in her tracks.
"Its not nice to make things up, Khari....own up to your folly. You were caught red handed...."
There was a stiffness about her posture that would have told Tress all he needed to know about her current train of thought, that had irked her, but she was trying to let it roll off her as if nothing awry had happened at all. Didn't he know? She was Kuati, an upper class one at that, she was never wrong. Much less be dictated to like an unruly child. If anyone needed a lesson in the way of things and chastisment, it was him.
"Making things up?!" She returned imperiously, not yet turning around, that would just give him more fuel for the fire if he could see her blushing, "I did no such thing! And you know it. Everything I said was the truth, if I was going to...and believe me when I say I wasn't considering it...undress you, I wouldn't do it with my eyes. It's ultimately defeatist anyway, why torture myself when my hands could reveal the real thing...happy now?"
