Corey hears the droids words but it made him no mind, he knew there would be a way out. It was a matter of time before they thought he was harmless and let him free. Then he thought that he would destroy this metal prison that was holding him. His feeling as one of hate and rage, he was attacked, then imprison for no reason. He pulled one last time before he just let go and let the metal contraption hold him.
“Fine, tell whoever is in charged that I wish to speak with them. I have something that will show that I was only defending myself.”
With that he stops and wished he could have taken back his last words, but he will have to wait to see who is holding him now.

Rajnish started to feel his metal body begin to responded to his commands from his mind and processor. He was being held in a contraption like no other he has seen. He then felt alone without the aide of the force to keep him company.
“No matter, I do not need to force to tell me what I feel. Master Dooku, let me down for the last time. I will get my revenge and not only kill him, but the little cheat of a dark sider. I will make them all pay.”
He begins to laugh, it was one of pure evil as he hangs there waiting….

Post by Zanear the Edge on Dec 18, 2010 10:20:24 GMT -5
The sexual tension between them had been electric, released in their bouts of ecstatic union that spanned the full length of their evening, and just as he had suggested before their arrival here, they found use for those binders tenfold. Locked in a lascivious embrace they had made their way into the adjoining room, hands, lips, tongues exploring the other along the way, falling down onto the richly appointed bed soon thereafter, breathing ragged, lusting for more, where their heathen games only continued into contentment and naked totality. So lost to her euphoria she had become, that Arri would have been content to spend the remainder of her days like that, here with him if it were not for the constraints of mortal life. Be it pain or pleasure, everything had to come to an end, but that didn't mean she had to like that fact, he was her poison of choice and she could not get enough. Wild, that was one of the words she could use to encapsulate him, wildly exotic, passionate and skillful in ways that brought her to the edge time and time again, reciprocated in full. Much later, she was tentatively brought out of the haze of her aftermath by the soft warmth of Zanear's hand brushing the errant strands of hair from her eyeline, stirring her into looking up and receiving that gentle kiss in response, her smile a responsive thanks as she rested, stretched out languidly against him. They had lain here for only a few moments, not even an hour, content in their relative silence, the occasional exchange between them being the gentle caress of a hand, or a soft air-light kiss that threatened to, but never quite, turned into more, the pair of them sated for the meanwhile...at least physically. Zanear it appeared, had questions, a natural curiosity she could see resonant in his exotically coloured eyes. Shifting her position, so that she could see him clearly, but without moving away from him too much, she saw no reason not to answer them, it would do them no harm if she were to explain the truth. He already knew who, or rather what, she was and he was still laying here, on someone elses bed in someone elses apartment lounging utilizing it for their own fun like they owned the place. More power to him for going along with it. "That would depend on what, exactly, you wished to know?" She informed softly, "I was born on the world we orbit, the youngest of three siblings, both of whom I have not seen since my conscription. My future was mapped out for me before birth, my parents fell into financial hardships, the business they ran was ailing and verged on the point of bankruptcy so they had me for the soul purpose of becoming telbun. When my education would be completed I would be chosen by a young heir of one of the great merchant families to parent a child with them, cementing the abolishment of my families financial woes." Carefully she studied him, green eyes making contact with violet, seeking what she often found in the eyes of other offworlders when they had cared to hear that story. He nodded his head slightly, his gaze unflinching as she told her story. Of course he'd heard of such things before, at least her family would be compensated for her service, better than the pure slave trade at any rate. But he was not one to judge other species peculiarities, they were what they were. As she finished, her eyes spoke volumes, she awaited his response, how would he react? Simply taking her hand in his, he lifted it to his lips and kissed it, then laid it back down. Taking his left hand and trailing his clawed forefinger along the length of her jaw, he listened in rapt attention. He could feel her about to bare her soul to him, and he would listen. Idly, she traced invisible paths across the falleen's chest with her fingertips, recounting more as she did so. "I have my own interests of course, but they matter little to those I work for, those I pursue whenever I have a free moment." Once again she met his gaze, wryly smirking "Now, for instance, this has to be the most awe inspiring use of my free time yet. And the most enjoyable."And that statement brought a wide smile, and another, subtle indication that he felt the same way. His hand began to run the totality of her body, arousal once again bearing it's full weight upon him. But I digress, Arri purred, silently berating herself for letting her feelings get the better of her again, she knew better than that - or was it the pheromones? She supposed she never would be able to tell. "Anyway, my life has been spent, toiling in some fashion or another, but in the absence of my usual duties I was put to another use, one that has earned me a slightly more vaulted status among my peers. Mostly I function as an aide, or go between if you will, for the ten ruling families of Kuat. I liaise with each head of household to ensure the lines of communication stay open and that the ten are not deadlocked in conflict too often." Ahhh... he exhaled, Now that explains much indeed! was his immediate thought. So he hadn't stumbled upon some nefarious scheme, in which Arri had wished to depose of her Master, in fact she worked for many. For someone of her status, that was indeed quite an honor. He chuckled aloud and shook his head, It seems I have a penchant for choosing the cream of the crop then, he said to her playfully. If I was to take you away, would then Kuat crumble into in-fighting and ruin? Also he teased slightly, but there was meaning beneath those words....he would take her away with him, if she desired it. He was fortunate to have found her here at all, having spent the majority of her time on Kuat, where many of the ten were based, she had come to the orbital array of KDY to bring Khari Vestra a message from the house of Kuhlvult. What she had found when attempting to do so, had left her in a precarious position to say the least and since that would make her an accessory to something less than savory, she would remain tight lipped about that aspect of her journey. "In answer to your last question, however, While Lady Vestra could indeed hold power in sway over my actions, she is not my master, as you put it. So I could not honestly say just what she would do if she were to find you and I here...like this." The soft pads of her fingertips trailed a burning line down the center of his chest, following roughly the same path up as she rose to prop herself up on one elbow, leaning forth as her hand meandered to cup one side of his smoothly angular face, drawing him in, her lips brushing his ever so softly as she whispered low, "Now my master, on the other hand, would be very, very displeased with me." Lips working against his possessively, she kissed him heatedly, tentatively with the intention to leave him breathless. Then her last statement floored him. Her movements only brought further advance to the state he had already begun to achieve earlier, and her touch only completed the transition to full on avarice. Her lips created pure fire, and breathless she did leave him, as he pulled her tight to him, his rough handling of her became more and more intense, his own breath now ragged as the pace quickened, the animal instinct exploding in passionate fulfillment. He worked her this way for over an hour, his heightened sensuality driving him further along, he could not, would not, be able to be sated. She was everything he wanted, and he wasn't about to let her go easily. Plans began to form in his mind, of how he might begin to make it possible...assuming, of course, she desired the same. When they finished, sweat pouring from their bodies, and complete exhaustion the only reason for the ending of their hedonistic pleasure, he lay there with her, thinking of what to do next. Arri..? Are you happy in your life as it is? He asked her simply, honestly.

His words evoked both a blush and light laughter response in her all at the same time, not usually one for giggling she felt a tad more embarrassed for actually appearing to, but her amusement was genuine enough, she wouldn't have boasted that she was the cream of any crop, but she wouldn't argue with his blatant flattery. It was what he had asked, no- teased, after that had her attention so rapt.
"If that were the case, I would be a very rich woman. But no, Kuat survived before me, it will survive and prosper after me. I just help the transition a little, and it is no mean feat either, there are things that go on behind closed doors that most holonet reporters only dream about discovering..." Loosing a sigh, she shook her head, bowing it slightly as if caught in her own reverie, then she looked up at him again, feeling a claw-tipped finger tracing it's pattern along the length of her jawline, sending delectable shivers down her spine. Her gaze narrowed slightly, though she appeared none the less amused as she said, "And it's more than my life is worth to repeat them, so be under no illusions there."
He had piqued her curiosity on one thing though, if she were to leave. As it had never been a viable option, she hadn't supposed that it had ever required much thought. From day one her life had been laid out for her, with someone always telling her where to go, what to do, or even what she could or could not say. Dictated to from the get go, it would be a prospect of freedom that was so far removed from her life here, that was almost scary in that sense. Of course, she had been off world on occasion, but not beyond the core for any one reason. Arri had been chosen for her purpose, it has never occurred to her that there could be another path for her in life, should she choose it. And even if she did, would her master ever let her go? There were ways around things like that, and she knew fine well she had it in her. Certainly food for thought...
What had started out as little more than a spark of desire, had errupted into heathen flames that engulfed them both. Caught in the maelstrom of their need rising, Arri truly threw caution to the wind, giving herself to the moment and that animalistic instinct they seemed to evoke in eachother. Far more fevered than their previous encounters, the pair of them fought for primacy in the most erotic of ways, paying no heed to the roughness of it all which seemed to come naturally from the outset. The ebb and flow of pleasure within them both would eventually tip the balance, their hypersensitive state only sealing the deal as it were. It seemed for all intents and purposes that they would go along like this forever, and Arri was only too enraptured to have let that be so, had there not been such a thing as exhaustion. What he gave, she returned with a deeper rooted intensity, the press of their bodies together at such close proximity as she arched up against him one way, and he, her another. An hour, maybe more passed with the most delicious of consequences, before finally, the satisfied ache that had been resonant in her limbs had begun to wear on her senses abrasively, reminding her that she was, very much so, mortal and did require rest.
Sweat sheen veiling their bodies, they both lay against the cool sheets breathing hard for those first, tentative few moments, still locked in the fury of their embrace. Arri's mind whirled as the euphoria faded, replaced by the slowing beat of her heart as she settled her breathing in a quiet and steady dialogue with Zanear's. Her thoughts were everywhere and one place all at once, but still very much with him, that had been simply incredible and never had she thought it possible to feel quite so much all at once and drawn out over hours.
His potentley prudent question had rather caught her off guard, and she stilled, noticably against him. Not wishing to let him think he had offended her somehow, or she was unwilling to answer, she quickly remedied that by gently caressing the length of his arm with one hand.
How did one answer that? She knew what she wanted to say, or rather...what she was conditioned to say. It wasn't a bad life, not by any stretch of the imagination but she could think of better ways to spend her existence. For that was all it was really, an existance. She would become the biological parent of her master's child and then spend her days looking after and educating that child, but then what? Was she obsolete? The resulting child wouldn't even name her 'mother' after all, and would have little use for her when he or she reached an age where they could take on responsibility within the family. And then the whole cycle started over with another pair, she supposed....it was all rather mechanical, which was ironic considering where they were.
"It's not that I am unhappy, as such," she began, sounding a little distant, "but that I live a life with limits, I will reach a point, and then I will cease to exist....and yet I go on living. I can see little beyond that. I am grateful for the opportunities this postition has given me, but-"
Looking up at him, a sliver of wistfulness creeping into her tones, she added, "Here, I am a means to an end, I know what lies down that lane. And that saddens me."
Smiling she shook her head, why was he asking anyway? "Pay me no heed, I must sound sorry for myself. After all, where would I go?"
There was that exotic gaze again, she thought, looking back at her with the same intensity she had shown toward him, captivating was a gross understatement, did he feel that too?

The Colonel notices her reaction to the matter of the Falleen and her assistant Arri. He considers this, carefully masking his face as she speaks, his natural stoic nature making it so much easier to mask his internal thoughts.
If Arri has been compromised it would have far reaching effects; the infighting among the Ten would instantly worsen as they would begin pointing fingers at one another, and while Vestra would likely remain on top, at the very least she would be under much heavier scrutiny. Something significant is going on, but to what exactly it is, there are too many unknowns to speculate... and one of them is standing within a few feet.
As Khari takes the com from him and begins talking with Grand Admiral Tuulk, The Colonel looks over at the Imperial Senator and gives him a professional small nodding bow of acknowledgment. Since she has not gone through the trouble of introducing him as yet, the Colonel finds no need to take the matter into his own hands and simply passes the time considering the situation and details further, a moment later Zann pulls out his own com and walks a bit away and leaves the Colonel to his thoughts.

Out of the corner of her eyes, Khari watched the Colonel standing rather stoically to one side, his gaze meandering about the small group gathered here, who had little more to look at than the mess they stood amongst. That and the ever present load lifters, plodding along with debris held on their outstretched arm platforms. But even she couldn't have missed the rather casual - too casual in fact - way that Klask had regarded Tress. Now there was going to be an interesting conversation when that subject was finally broached, the longer she put it off the more questions that would be raised at a later date. But now was hardly the time.
She returned her attention to the secure comlink connection.
"Quite." She added with good natured humour, "Credit where credit is due."
If there were beings out there who didn't find the presence of the Atrocity somewhat imposing, they were either fools or they had the means of neutralizing her within a matter of moments. The latter applying to herself, she wasn't about to argue with the Admiral on technicalities, he didn't need to know about that particular failsafe, nor would he ever if this alliance of sorts went as it was supposed to. And it seemed that Tuulk was full of surprises himself, because what he added thereafter saved Khari, or rather her assistants, a great deal of work.
"Is that so? Well all the better then." The Kuati smiled warmly, this was expediently good, "And if he is, as you suggest, wishing to speak to me, I would be delighted to make his acquaintence. Once again I thank you for the aid in our little mishap here and look forward to hearing from the Imperial Regent."
Conversation done with, she signed off and moved to return the comlink to it's owner, Colonel Klask. Handing the device over, she followed his line of sight to Tress again, before slowly sliding her gaze sidelong back to him. But as soon as she had done so, she found the Colonel looking elsewhere entirely. He needn't have done so, she knew well his suspicion and it was founded too. Just as she had bristled when she had originally met Tress, it stood to perfect reason that anyone who had close ties with KDY in a business or military fashion would have had their suspicions about anyone bearing the last name of Zann. It placed her in a particularly awkward and precarious position, she knew, but all others needed to know about this, was that it was purely on an above board and open level.
Lowering her tone of voice, whilst allowing Tress to keep going about his conversation unhindered, Khari made a very brief gesture with one hand in his direction, though her words were for Klask entirely.
"I was surprised with the RGE's choice of envoy, too. Of all those they could have sent, no one would get the attention of those who mattered more than he. Their logic astounds me...but there it is."
This time, she didn't so much as twitch to look at Klask, instead keeping her measured and steady gaze forward, waiting for Tress to finish his conversation before they went anywhere.
"The estimated time of this cleanup operation? It appears we shall be receiving some auspicious guests, the Imperial Regent among them...it won't do to have them bear witness to all of this, the other side of the array should be substantial enough of a diversion."

He had finished up his conversation with Urai and looked around a bit more before heading back to where Khari was talking with the Colonel. She looked OK so nothing bad had happened, guess she was happy with the way things turned out. He catches the last of her convo. "The estimated time of this cleanup operation? It appears we shall be receiving some auspicious guests, the Imperial Regent among them...it won't do to have them bear witness to all of this, the other side of the array should be substantial enough of a diversion."
He didn't want to interrupt so he stayed in the background like a telbun, which would give her a reason to smile at least. What was he going to say was his reason for being here. Not even the Senate knew he was there, he was suppose to have been back on Carratos taking up his new office. Not out here in Kuat space.
The only thing that came to mind was setting up a trade agreement. An economic treaty of some sort to validate his presence there. It was part of the reason, he and khari had talked about it alot. So it was true so anyone else would know it soon enough.
"Everything is in order in my end, Lady Vestra. That information you requested has been received." He tells her finally bring attention to himself.

Please...I understand politics well enough to not bother prying. It usually leaves the prier dead. That was simple enough of a fact, he'd seen it happen before... hell he'd done the killing before, all part of his training for the future. But he pushed all thoughts of that aside. He wasn't in a hurry in any rate. He had piqued her curiosity on one thing though, if she were to leave. He listened to every word, studied every nuance as she answered him. Her words spoke volumes, and she only hinted at what would be the deepest of underlying sadness, bearing a child that would not love you, or call you parent. That, for almost every female of most species, was an almost unbearable thought. Of course, what he was about to offer her wouldn't be much different in that respect, Falleen biologically could not mate with other species, and bear child. It was impossible. But freedom, and passion, he could offer her that. But stability, no. He was a man of Chaos, and would be until his own responsibilities took him home. But now, he would answer her, and give a choice. Nonsense! I've done nothing but pay heed to every word, every inch of your person. Your opinion, your feelings, they all matter. He paused, letting his fingers run along her arm, back and forth. There's lots of places to go, to see, things to do...the question is, who would you want to do those things with? As for me... he paused here, ever so briefly, ...that person would be you. He looked into her eyes, searching for her response. Then he continued; I've got a few million credits, I can always make more although times might be tough on occasion. Come with me, and leave your trapped life behind. Leaning forward and kissing her lips lightly, he held it for several minutes, then pulled away. There isn't anything we can't do...say what needs to be done to gain your freedom, and I'll do it...

Aboard the Atrocity...
Tuulk stands and listens as the comlink closes between him and Lady Vestra, before turning to Ricky as the Communications Officer calls up to the Grand Admiral. "Sir, Shadow Fleet is on its way to the system."
"The rest of the Shadow Fleet?" Tuulk asks.
"Yes Sir, full compliment. ETA, two minutes." Ricky replies.
Tuulk stands in place wondering why the full fleet is coming, Tuulk believes Kommisar must be trying to showboat or something, what is going on. Knowing that KDY will probably detect the fleet on their long range scanners soon, Tuulk can't do much more than contact KDY and wait for Shadow Fleet to arrive. That is when the security officer Tuulk sent to wait for the Kage to regain consciousness contacts him with the news that Corey Dooku is awake. Eager to speak to the Kage, Tuulk decides to go interrogate the prisoner.
"Ricky, send a message to KDY informing them of our support fleet's imminent arrival. I'm going to go have a talk with one of our guests." Tuulk orders and he begins to leave for the Jedi detention bay.
"Yes Sir, Admiral." Ricky says as he diligently begins to send a message to KDY officials. Tuulk goes to the turbolifts and takes the long ride to the belly of the Atrocity. He sits and contemplates the questions he will ask the Kage; why was he here, his purpose in firing on the shipyards, and above all else, what the frak was he thinking. These are all questions that currently come as a slight fog to him and wants to find out.
As the doors to the tuborlift open Tuulk emerges out into a well lit but ominously looking black durasteel hallway with large bay doors on both sides of him that are marked with a large yellow number and letter; this being the special Jedi section, its adorned with the letter 'K'. After he passes by number after number, Tuulk finally stops at the door to bay 23K and enters it. Behind a transparasteel window, which is also protected by ray shields, Tuulk looks into the cell to see the Kage in the special restraint system but alert as alert he can be. He stays back from the console for a moment and studies the Kage, wondering why he has to cross paths with this Grey Jedi, before hitting the comlink to the droid inside the cell with the Kage and orders him to remove the head restraint so that he can look the Kage in the eyes when talking to him.
"Greetings Kage Dooku, I am Grand Admiral Tuulk of the RGE." Tuulk says in a welcoming tone. "I am truly sorry about the restraints, and the cell.... and the deadening of your Force-sensitivity temporarily but you must understand our need to take precautions. I want to know what happened here, Kage Dooku; why you came here, why you opened fire on the KDY facilities and why we shouldn't had you over to face the Kuati legal system. I can tell you personally that the latter is not very favorable."

Corey hears a voice, but this one was not in his head. He turns his head slight to see Admiral Tuulk talking to him, he places a fake smile on his face. As he spoke his voice somewhat clear.
“What do you mean, I fire at KDY. I gave no such order. Why would I fire on them when all four ships were in bad shape and needed repair? Only a insane ship commander would dare attack when it was clearly a one sided fight. Even I would not dare to do such a thing, (deep breath)so how many ships did I lose to you? Hmm, to think I came here to get repairs not buy new ships.”
Corey coughs as he tries to laugh, but it was only a front. He knew that Admiral Lee must have thought that she was buying time for him to escape. He closed his eyes as tried to clear his mind but his anger would not let him.
“So Admiral Tuulk, what happened to my Genin? An what about the group that attacked me and my Genin? I see that credits are the only thing that can clear your name around here. I only attack when I need too, I don’t go around and show how powerful I am. The ones that were attacking my Genin, an then myself, what going to happen to them? After I stopped after seeing the damage that was caused from the fighting I gave up peacefully. I could have easily got out of their or even destroy or half of the shipyard from within. An to think, I had proof to show I was innocent.”
Corey has a sharp pain in the back of his neck, his eyes rounded up to black then back to sky blue. His voice was deep at this point.
“I guess it is good that you have me in this contraption Admiral. My anger for those Force Users that was on Kuat has done their job at keeping me away from my ship. An .. An.. Never mind.”
Corey left it fall there, he knows he needed help but not from the RGE but from the Jedi. They might have a better chance at helping him with his growing problem.

Zanear might not have realized it, or perhaps he did, but for her to hear that her opinion mattered to anyone aside from herself, was almost like opening the flood gates to everything she had ever kept repressed in her entire life. From the outsett her life had been an unending cycle of what she must or must not do, must or must not be. On kuat, were she travelling alone, she would be almost invisible to the upper classes, a non-entity when it came to the rights she wielded or had the power to exercise. She was a thing, an object...a possession. Arri had known all throughout her life that this was not the case on other worlds, that she had equal right there, but as fate had dictated, this was not the case here. For those oh so brief moments, his actions had faded into the background and given center stage to his words.
So could she, Arri wondered, give up everything and go wherever she pleased, wherever they pleased, and just see where fortune took things? The idea was encouraging, more than appealing to her, particularly if it meant she would get to share it with him. Perhaps learn of where much of that mystique he beheld had come from. Eyes glimmering as she regarded him carefully, gaze searching for any sign that he might actually be jesting, she paused before answering, finding none where she searched.
"The life I lead now, is not that which I would have chosen for myself." She admonished softly, shaking her head as a few errant strands of her hair rearranged themselves about her shoulders. "My opinion matters little to those who make claim to me. In fact, it does not matter at all. But in answer to your question...I am intrigued that you would have to ask."
A smile tugged at the corners of her mouth when she felt his touch, followed by a feather light kiss that left her wanting for more - it only served to further make up her mind, but not before she had luxuriated in that decadant moment, kissing him back lightly, not yet fully comitting to the motion to keep him every bit as tempted as she was.
"Just in case you were still curious, that would be with you." She added silkily a moment or two later, holding his gaze unwaveringly, despite the electric excitement coursing through her mind right now. How would they do this? He wanted to know what it would take for 'severance' from her agreement, so to speak, and she knew that that may not be something her master would agree to without a fight so to speak. In an out and out physical fight, he wouldn't have stood a chance, that wasn't his thing, but he was a man with a very long reach so to speak. That would be problematic and while a couple of million credits would get them far, it would run out a little too soon. They'd need to keep on the move, which seemed to be fine by him.
"In regards to what you would be required to do to break my conscription..." She let out a barely audible sigh, breaking his gaze for mere seconds before looking back up "...you can't...but I can. If you are serious about this, I mean, we plan, we go and we don't look back. Funds are not a problem regardless of what you have now, leave that to me."
She had to be crazy, her mind whirled with the prospect, and yet she had never felt more alive...this could work.

Looking up at the sound of Tress' voice, she smiled rather plaintively as he strode over to inform her of the news. News that the Colonel didn't need to be appraised of, and if she seemed aloof, that was with good intentions too, as Tress would doubtless understand.
"Thank you, that is most appreciated. As fortune would have it, Admiral Tuulk informs me that the Imperial regent is on his way to engage in those discussions we detailed." Keeping her manner all business for the meanwhile, she paused only briefly to build on what Klask had so pointedly placed a finger on earlier.
"But where are my manners? Senator, this is Colonel Heg'zi Klask, he has been instrumental in seeing to it this mess was resolved before our arrival." Khari kept out the disapproval regarding his actions in contacting the imperials ahead of time, that mess was still pending further, in depth investigation, but the semi favourable turn out, should negotiations go ahead and be successful, could do a great deal with bolstering Klask's case in favour of leniency.
"Colonel, as you so correctly guessed earlier, this is Senator Odak- Zann of the RGE. He has been liasing with myself and my chief of staff in the lead up to the discussions I had intended to hold with the Imperial regent. But it seems he has saved us all a task." The deliberate inflection on the prefix was palpable and completely intended to hark back to his earlier gripe of missing it entirely.
It went without saying that any Kuati with ties to this place would bristle at the last name, but times had changed and new alliances were forming weather those mired in the old ways realized it or not. She could make this legitimate if she so wished, and believed it was possible to remain very much independent in the process. But that all depended on a few key factors. Those she could mull over later, there were still a few unsettled scores to be had.
And it had been more than a little unsettling when Klask had assumed that Khari knew about the unnamed Falleen who had connections with Arri, especially since she had never heard Arri speak of anyone of that species or otherwise that she was in contact with. It was very unusual for one of her ilk to acquire friends or contacts outside her own social circle...whatever this was it ran a little deeper than it appeared. If this mysterious male had indeed been handed over to Arri until further investigations gave security a good reason to haul him in for interrogation, there was every chance he was still somewhere on this very orbital array. Pensively her expression grew distant for a few breaths, she would need to sort that matter out before it became a problem...and that meant locating Arri. There could be no loose threads when it came to acomodating the Imperial Regent and his entourage...the last thing KDY needed now was for another disaster to occur like the last one.
"Though doubtless the trouble has passed, I do not wish to take any chances when it comes to the safety of our guests. I want security stepped up for the regent's arrival and indeed the duration of his stay." This, to Klask, who would have expedient links to the heads of other sectors of the array - she could have done it direct herself, but she was going to have her hands full, as well might Tress if suspicions were high enough.
"Senator? Perhaps you can join me in arranging everything for this visit, I could use some advisement and you would be the most appropriate person in this instance to give it." Khari requested, turning that dark eyed gaze back on Tress, demeanour not shifting for a second, if she was going to hide anything, she wasn't going to do it by halves.

"Thank you, that is most appreciated. As fortune would have it, Admiral Tuulk informs me that the Imperial regent is on his way to engage in those discussions we detailed." Walking toward her he noticed something and wondered what had happened. She seemed closed off, distant when other times she was more....ah, the Colonel. He was smart enough to know something was up with why she was so aloof now. "Ah, then you knew already then...guess i need to get better aides to pass on information faster. Well either way its good news." He plays it off as if that was what he had been talking about. "But where are my manners? Senator, this is Colonel Heg'zi Klask, he has been instrumental in seeing to it this mess was resolved before our arrival."
A nod in greeting then as he drew nearer he offers his hand. "Nice to meet you Colonel." What was he suppose to tell him his name was? Though that was answered by Khari soon after, which won her a questioning glance. So it had come out then? "Colonel, as you so correctly guessed earlier, this is Senator Odak- Zann of the RGE. He has been liaising with myself and my chief of staff in the lead up to the discussions I had intended to hold with the Imperial regent. But it seems he has saved us all a task." "Indeed it does. Here at least the RGE can get a tour of the facilities and get to see first hand the benefits of what quality of excellence KDY takes in producing the best ships in the galaxy." In that he didn't think to much of his last name and the problems it could bring him and the negotiations with KDY. He was willing to step down and let someone else take over. The deal to him was important enough to let go of personal pride and ego. That and he didn't have to explain to others that it was his grandfather and not him who had done terrible deeds to Kuat. He was trying to make something lasting, something to over shadow his families past mistakes. If people didn't see that through their ignorance it was their problem and not his. "Senator? Perhaps you can join me in arranging everything for this visit, I could use some advisement and you would be the most appropriate person in this instance to give it." Bowing his head in obedience knowing she would get a kick out of that, he answered. "I am at your disposal, Lady Vestra."

The Colonel givers her a little bow as she hands him back the comlink.
Keeping his voice low to match hers, and without further emphasis or implications. "It might be a bit shocking, but the empire was no friend of his family either. If the blood carries true, bias aside, he would be a remarkably gifted individual. I hope your negotiations with the Senator are fruitful."[/quote]
"I have not yet gotten the estimates from maintenance, I was pleasantly surprised you came down so early in the process to see the damage yourself before it was "made presentable" as so many senior executives do if they even bother. Look at the crews working, your not down here riding them, but they are working harder and better than I have seen in a while. They see you here, and it makes a difference."
The Colonel turns as the Senator approaches, and administers a bow of respectful acknowledgment.
The Colonel likewise extends his hand and greets him with a good nature. "Greetings Senator, it is an honor to meet you in person."
He turns back to Lady Vestra, "I will make arrangements, though considering the rank of your guests as well as the means at their disposal, may I suggest leaving the personal security up to the RGE staff of the regent. I am sure they will feel more comfortable, and should anything disastrous happen, we will not be liable."

Tuulk listens carefully, he notes that this man is obviously afflicted with mental illness or needs to lay off the stim, and raises an eye to the claim of innocence. One thing Tuulk dislikes is if an innocent man is punished unfairly, this is something Tuulk has always stood against. "Kage, I want you to understand that I am here to handle the investigation, I will not let you be punished if you're truly innocent but you need to help me under stand what happened."
Tuulk's tone is genuine and true, even an untrained ear could get that, and he pressed the Kage to answer his questions. "Let's start over, tell me everything that happened between the time you entered orbit to the first shot being fired."
