Her breathing set into a quiet dialogue as he whispered his thoughts into her ear, and though she did not need to block anything out to have heard them, she closed her eyes for a few seconds anyway, biting down softly on her lower lip as if in pensive silence. A delectable shiver rolled up her spine, curling outwards through neural network and synapses in order to make her skin prickle in the nicest way possible. And it was only fair she return the favour, whispering back into his own ear,
"Your mind is the same as mine on this, I see...with a few, minor alterations, shall we say?" And then her tone dropped an ocative, lips seductively brushing against the lobe of his ear as she added her slight changes. It wasn't anything that would have been detrimental to his plans, whatever those might have been exactly, but it would have a profound reaction.
Allowing him to set her down gently at the edge of the bed, she turned her dark eyed gaze up toward his visage, just as his hands ghosted over the pale skin of her neck, sliding smoothly upward to cup each side of her face before he leaned down to kiss her. And she kissed him back, feverishly, placing one hand delicately on his cheek and the other upon the bulk of his shoulder to pull him closer to her, to the inevitable. What almost startled her was what he had whispered between feverous kisses, the surprise evident in the way she stilled for the barest of moments, pausing to look him straight in the eyes, before turning her gaze on the Telbun, who did, as expected, wait in quiesence by the door.
If he had heard what Tress had whispered to her, he didn't show any sign of it, but then why would he? His reactions were always acutely in check, it was rare - unless she had asked - that he did show any emotion other than those which were afforded to him and within the boundaries of his 'contract' as it were. But what Tress had said, more so the way he had said it, Khari was almost torn between calling his bluff and taking him seriously. In either case, she knew how that particular tone had taken her, and that fire within had returned to envelop her completely. Letting her gaze drop momentarily, she appeared to mull over the words for consideration, not displaying fear, far from it, hands still entangled around Tress, idly tracing patterns in the cloth of his tunic. When she stilled completely, and nodded once, simply, her words left no doubt to be considered.
Turning those dark eyes of hers on the Telbun in question, she kept her emotions rigidly in check too. Disentangling herself from Tress' embrace, she slipped past him and walked towards the heavily robed man standing by the door, placing a slender index finger beneath his chin to turn his equally dark gaze upon her. A few hushed words were heard muttered between the two, of which few could be discerned,
"...heard what he said...don't move whatever happens."
Placing a soft, temptingly searing kiss against the other man's lips, when she drew away she turned sharply on her heels to face Tress again, a knowingly haughty expression on her face, a silent challenge...perhaps she liked what she'd seen that jealously brought out in him. It certainly had a profound effect on her, and he would be able to tell by the way she had looked back at him that it was he who was truly pleasing her this night. Closing the distance between them both again, she stopped over invading his personal space and quirked an eyebrow.
"Now that is dealt with...you were saying?"

****Sometime later****
"I tend to think the opposite. Its not what you wear its how it looks on the floor." He says as he stands. Looking down at himself, he glances at his clothes.
Pausing before setting foot outside the bedroom door, she looked back at Tress and barely managed to surprise a snicker. "Will you be coming like that? As much as I love that towel on you, the wind might catch it and then we might end up with a citation..."
Laughing he looks at her. "I was thinking the same thing, myself." Grabbing his pants that she had tossed at him earlier, he starts dressing. The follows her out as he slips on his shoes. Donning his shirt he buttons it up and rolls up the sleeves to just below his elbow.
"There that is better than nothing..." he says to himself as she was already gone to wait for him in the living room. Running his fingers through his hair, he makes his way to her.
"I am ready when you are..." He says with a wink.

Smiling warmly as Tress entered the room, she rose to walk beside him, the pair of them making their way from the suite to the turbolift, Khari giving the attentive droid operator the usual displeased glance now more than ever, as if it had been the one to give them away earlier. This would certainly be the last time she stayed in this establishment, and never again would she wish to do business with it's proprietor, but perhaps he had inadvertantly done her a favour...there was so much back home that needed dealing with.
Unfortunately though, this required parting ways with Tress a little earlier than she would have liked, their turbulent...whatever this was...had been something of a whirlwind, completely picking her up and planting her down in another place entirely. A place she happened to be rather content to stay in at present, but needs must, and needs demanded that this get a change of scene.
Esconced in the near silent turbolift, Khari found herself a little lost for words, turning to glance his way, pushing a stray ribbon of inky black hair behind her ear in irritation at it's unrulyness. But no matter how hard she tried to hide it, how much she wished to keep the disappointment hidden behind a facade, she couldn't help looking a little forlorn. Three days was a long time, depending where in the galaxy you went.
"Do you intend to visit under your true name, or should I expect a pseudonym and disguise?" She asked a little curiously, his name - and when he became better known among the senate - his face would draw attention. Unwanted attention from most highly strung Kuati. "I need to know weather to have security go lenient on you or not...you would be amazed where they have to put those scanners."
She was, of course, joking, they wouldn't have done that, but she could get them to wave him through rather than give him the usual barrage of questions KPS tended to do to all who passed through their juristiction.
The melodic sound of the turbolift chime sounded again and they were in the main atrium of the hotel, and, as expected, Rivo Xarran, hotelier and the slimy twi'lek colleague were waiting for them.
"Oh how delightful, we get a comittee to see us off." Khari mused loud enough for them to hear, tones dripping to the highest order with sarcasm.
As if to defy her, neither Rivo, nor his counterpart, said a word to that - but the Kuati woman just treated that with the indiference that deserved. Striding out of the turbolift, Tress beside her, she held her head high as if she had nothing at all to be ashamed of - and in her view she didn't - intending to walk right by Xarran and his entourage of one, when he actually deigned to speak up.
"Lady Vestra, I trust you will not take this too personally, but I have standards to uphold and if I were to flout the rules for one guest, I would need to do it for all."

"I plan on going as myself, Khari....I am not ashamed of who i am. I might as well deal with those against me early on." He says taking her hand, he had honor and loved his family. He didn't think she was only worried about the gossip or anything in that nature. I knew she was just looking out for him.
He did wonder how things would go when others found out about them being together. He was more worried about her, than his own image. Maybe he should go in disguise? Save her the hardships of dealing with things until a later date.
"If it will help you out, i can go in disguise...." He tells her honestly. He trusted her knowledge on things. That is when the lifts doors open and he sees who is standing out there. A look of inflated pompous self importance and a gloating sarcastic speech. He wished he could do something about it, but he had promised her he wouldn't.
Turning to look at her, his hand still in hers, he squeezed to let her know he was there with her.

She would get to the finer points of how they should conduct themselves when he had her undevided attention, he deserved no less after all, and there was still the small matter of Rivo's self important superiority complex to deal with. Making it just past the man who was getting a little too big for his boots, Khari turned her gaze on Tress and apologetically asked that he wait a moment, while she procured from her hand luggage a datapad.
"This won't take long." She assured him gentile-like, fingers moving deftly over the screens surface, which reacted to the implanted nodes secreted beneath the surface of her fingertips, calling up the information she was looking for.
"Mr. Xarran...there was, one last thing, a minor discrepancy if you will."
And with an all too sereneley superior smile herself, she turned sharply about face on one heel, then crossed the distance in measured strides of her long legs, then proceeded to elegantly hand him the datapad, which he took, holding it between his large hands not quite understanding what he was looking at at first, and then a frown creased his greasy brow.
"I...don't understand -"
Khari's smile was one of pure and feral satisfaction,
"The outstanding bill for your order, you could, say...take it off my bill for this place...although looking at these unmet demands, I wouldn't be surprised if it took the sum total of all your assets tied up in this establishment to pay for it."
Completely aghast, Rivo simply gaped, his features completely slack even as Khari was walking away arrogantly pleased with herself. Pausing only to glance uncaringly back over her shoulder,
"Keep the datapad, you will probably need it more than I....you will be hearing from my associates."

Standing back and listening, Tress begins to smile at her revenge, her payback....he couldn't have done it any better himself. Finally he steps out of the lift and looks around. Not being able to hold it in he adds. "Could use some renovations...."
Stepping beside her his hand resting at the small of her back he leans down and whispers. "You ready to go, yet? I find i am...seeking sometime quiet time." He leaves it at that and hopes she is ready to leave soon. They had a shuttle to catch, then a long, LONG fleet to Kuat. He was looking forward to it.
"Good day, Rivo....."
He didnt want to look at the man, who had such a face of disbelief he looked shattered. It was his own fault, and he for one didnt mind in the least at what had happened in the end to the man.

Allowing Tress to guide her on her way, she kept that air of superiority about her all the way down the grand steps to the streets, ignoring any of the curses she could hear at her back the second the door had begun to close behind them. Ah, that had been very satisfactory - she wasn't ever snide unless the matter truly called for it, and that most certainly had.
When at last they reached street level, Khari's expression had bloomed into a rather wicked smile,
"I almost feel bad for him....almost. What it must feel like to lose everything, a fate I trust neither of us will ever have to go through."
That brought her mood to a little somber halt, and she regarded him for a moment or two in a new light, what he had said earlier about keeping them a secret if for a short while, until things had quietened down enough that they might go public about this little ongoing tryst of theirs. Could they ever do that? And if they did...what would it mean for her and the future of KDY? Certainly a time would come where she would rather like to call something of a truce with the Zann legacy. But there would be those among the Kuati, among the ten, who would cry out for justice to be served, and she knew irrivocably that could hurt Tress and by extension, that would hurt her too.
"What you said earlier, about coming to see me in a few days time...perhaps it is high time that we set aside our differences? So long as you are aware there may be consequences, I wouldn't place that burden on you deliberately."
Her features set in the picture of earnest nature, she took ahold of his hand in hers, a slight resonant static shock was felt as their skin met, the nodes having been severed abruptly from the datapad she had left back inside.
"You are right, we shouldn't have to hide. That incident with Eclipse...two generations ago now."

Nodding. "One almost could, if he wasn't so pompous toward us." He said as they continue down the walk way. Up ahead one could see the landing platform where his shuttle would be waiting to lift off. He had said he wanted some quiet time with her and he wasn't lying.
It was something about ruining a person that got him in the mood to....play. Chuckling to himself he turns to her. Serious again he stops and looks at her. "First off we have no differences between us...but one. Your tel bunny. My families past is not one of them. They did it on their own, i had nothing to do with that." He frowns thinking about something else.
"I will stay in disguise, for the moment just until you are ready for it. You will be taking over the KDY business...it will be easier without our involvement coming to light so soon." He winks smiling to show her it was OK with him. Last thing he wanted to do was cause more trouble for her.
"And its not hiding its being prudent until we access the situation a bit more....i want to spend more time with you. Not add troubles so that we have to spend time apart dealing with the fallout."

As they approached the shuttle, Khari listened with interest to what he was saying, his insight into his view of things was enlightening as her own prior thoughts had been on the notion. She kept a level gaze and mind throughout, chipping in when she could to give her own opinion.
So it came as little surprise when he mentioned her telbun...that had been an issue for him from start to finish, she knew, and the little stunt she had pulled back at the hotel to make a point, really hadn't gone down to well with him. Though the aftermath had been delicious...her mind mused until she realized she was smiling at that train of thought.
"I would say that in it's self is a whole storage compartment full of differences, wouldn't you?" She responded wryly, she knew it was a sensitive subject for him, but she wasn't about to sugar the pill either. "If I simply dismissed him, people would ask too many questions, if I choose not to utilize him, that is my choice for a while, but the whole purpose of him being purchased was to provide my bloodline with an heir...while he would never dare utter what I did or did not do with him, without my say so, there will come a time when I am left little choice. I only wished you understood what that meant..."
He was going to take that the wrong way, she could almost smell it. Sensing he wouldn't completely gather what she was trying to say there, Khari decided to follow that up.
"Simply, if my being with my telbun in that way is not what you want, were this to continue, then so be it. It is no trouble in essence. What I mean is, were an heir to arise from some other means, were that child to have any chance at all we would need to pass it off as paternally related to my telbun."
Wincing, she braced herself for what she thought could well be another bout of that explosive attitude he had toward the other man in general, had he not simply been property, she might have felt sorry for him, but his lot in life had been chosen for him from the start, if he had wanted out he could have said long before the time came for his selection.
"But you have to admit," She added, trying to lighten the moment a tad, "Sneaking around could get particularly....exciting, at times?"
They were at the shuttle now, and she knew his answers depended on weather or not she would go with him here, weather or not he wanted this to continue. Her mind had been made up hours ago.

He saw her smiling, but what she had to say was causing him to frown. Was she making fun of his jealousy toward her telbun? That wouldn't go to well with things. Then he gets part of what she is trying to say.
"So he is there for the next heir....sooner or later you will want one, and he...you..both of you will..." He didn't like that at all, damn he was jealous. Look at him, his hands were shaking as if he wanted to hit someone. To lash out at that thought her and telbunny. What was wrong with him. Wasn't he good enough for her. Lots of questions floated in his head as he looked at her.
She Had lost her smile long before and he knew her better than to make fun of his sensibilities. Yes, even in the small time they had known each other, he trusted her that much. Still she knew what she was doing, and who was he to dismiss a custom of hers. She has seen him for who he was, and not just what his grandfather had done.
"So its been done like that before? Having kids without the Telbun being the donor as it were?" He liked that idea a little bit more, but he couldn't ask that of her. "Lets just see where things go, OK? Just me and you...getting to know more of the other like we talked about."
"But you have to admit," She added, trying to lighten the moment a tad, "Sneaking around could get particularly....exciting, at times?"
Reaching the shuttle, he stops and looks at her, searching in those eyes of hers. "I want to spend more time with you...sneaking around, or in full view of everyone. Don't ever question that..." He says with a soft smile. "...Come on lets get going, I want to hear more of this excitement you are speaking of."

Watching him there, caught in a moment of his own jealousy, it would have been too easy to sit there and exassabate the situation with disappointed words or general high strung nature, so she did neither, braving the fact he looked like he would explode at any moment and setting a few things to rights as it were.
"Were you comfortable with the idea, yes, that is how it is done. How it has been done for centuries. But I don't need to be a Jedi to work out that you disapprove of this idea and I respect that."
Carefully, she placed a hand on his forearm, almost expecting him to startle.
"The second idea was more what I was getting at, no one need know. And who knows, perhaps in time attitudes would change and....no, perhaps not." Khari cut her words there, Kuati attitudes towards the breaking of an age old system would never change, they were so innovative in many ways, yet they couldn't seem to get past a certain hitch in their own society. It worked because it kept everyone in line, who needed to be in line.
"I am all for seeing how things go from here, but I wished to be honest from the start, you understand?" And there it was, honesty, coming from her for the first time in a long time without any sort of masque of a facade. He did the strangest and most delightful things to her, she had to admit, he was quite something else if he could do that.
Noting that Tress' agitated state had begun to fade in favour of finding out what it was she was speaking about back there, that familiar warm smile returned to her face once more. And this time, there was a hint of something else beneath the surface. This was going to be a very enjoyable trip indeed!
"Well who am I not to endulge you?" She murmured back wryly, "Let me tell you in explicit detail..."
The interior of the shuttle was quite something else, even she had to admit, whoever had manufactured it had done an expediently good job. But while her casual self admired the aesthetics, her analytical mind was casting a critical eye over the whole ensemble. But she was biased, and he had probably had difficulties in acquiring anything from KDY if just for his name alone. That could be changed - she mused idly to herself as she took in the surroundings.
"This is your personal shuttle, yes? Does it have any interesting modifications?" She asked curiously, glancing around the more than ample seating area. A small home from home in essence, much like her own. Turning to glance back over her shoulder at him, that same feral glint that had been in her eyes before now dancing in the artificial light.
"Assuming you don't keep a pair of stuncuffs handy if you decide to get furious again, I mean."

He heard her and understood, just didn't want to worry about what would possibly happen between the telbun and her or what role he would have. His only term was that he or she not partake in what he was there for. He himself would keep her occupied in that role.
"I know khari, i thank you for that...." He says as he grabs her hand and lifts it to place a kiss upon it. "Honest will win you points with me...to be used at a later date." He says as he nibbles on her tender flesh.
Walking beside her up the ramp to the waiting shuttle he waits to see what she think. It was a family present, giving to him mostly by his grandfather Tyber. One of his last presents, so Tress cherished it all the more. Sneaking a look at her, hopefully she wouldn't take it to hard when she saw some of the things were Kuati spoils of war from the Executor that was stole from KDY. Things had been stripped from the Commanders quarters and used to decorate Tybers shuttle before being used for Tress's.
"Yes, my personal shuttle....a gift from the family." Is all he says to her. "It does have interesting modifications added, you just need to be patient and wait till they are revealed."
Walking up to her he places his arm around her waist and whispers to her. "Tell me more of these explicit detaisl......"

That almost drew out a purr from her, and she case that rueful gaze back at him with a flash of a pearly white smile.
"Points hmm? I will bare that in mind next time I feel like being honest. But it would be too easy to tell you what could win you some with me."
Leaving that ambiguously flirtacious, Khari began having a general look around the shuttle's confines, the unusual state of the decor oddly in keeping with it's holdings, and giving it a rather familiar feel.... No; she thought as she gazed upon a rather grand looking set of chairs in the main seating area, each one earganomically designed to mould it's self to the occupant's contours supportingly, it wasn't familliar...she knew that design.
Whirling round, robes accentuating the move in a flurried nature as it was intended, Khari fixed Tress with a very unimpressed expression.
"I suppose you think this is amusing?" She responded slightly accusatory in tone, casting a gesture out with one hand widely "All this?"
Still keeping up the air of haughtiness, head held high, she took a couple of steps back towards him, eyes narrowing in that way they did whenever she didn't look too impressed with things.
"Come now, you didn't know where your 'family' member procured many of these fixtures and fittings? I find that hard to believe."
Stopping a short distance away from him, within easy reach of Tress were she to lash out, or otherwise, the kuati woman placed one hand on her hip accordingly, then settled her weight on the other, expression still painted awry. "Give me one good reason why I shouldn't give you a slap that would match your other cheek right now?" One thing was certain, her tone was such that there wasn't so much deadly seriousness behind it, as there was a challenge, and an almost playful one at that...weather he read her correctly or not, remained to be seen.

"Remember what happened last time you slapped me, Khari...." He tells her stepping up to her and her challenge. "Yes, I know from where all this came...it has meaning from me, it was my grandfathers things. While he might have gotten them from....somewhere else. They are mine now." He says with a bite, challenging her back.
He wouldn't let this get it their way, they were just things, but things that meant something to him. Even then, they had the quality to make him feel at peace and at home. So it was just another thing to cherish them.
A mischievous smile played on his lips as he added. "I do have to thank those from where it came from....they have good taste." Stepping up closer his voice lowers seductively. "Some even taste good i have found out recently..... "
His thoughts go back to the Hotel's kitchen and the suite. The good times they had spent there."Ah, the taste....let me show you were you will be staying." He adds trying to move things along. He would show her his room first, then the one connected to it if she wanted it. Though he had other plans....

Khari didn't back away an inch, looking up at him slightly and meeting that challenging stare every bit as intense as his own. She didn't know what the women on Anaxes were like, but where she was from men didn't talk down to them, nor would she be challenged lightly. Besides, it was an awful lot of fun, his reactions were very unorthodox.
"Oh I remember, I remember every time I try and sit down." She muttered back, just so he could hear it, "You wouldn't have the nerve to do that again, in fact, you barely held it last time, it's a wonder the role wasn't reversed."
Very presumptuos she knew, but that was the point, her arrogant nature and sharp tongue was a good match for his own self assured personality. It had her wondering what he was really used to, or rather what he expected from her, perhaps he hadn't expected that. At least she hoped so. The crack at the decor hadn't really been entirely serious, her shock at who he was related to had been dealt with immediately at the time, and she wasn't about to simply relinquish everything they had done in order to rekindle a deeper hatred for something that had occured when she was too young to understand what a star destroyer was.
"And yours now are they?" She closed the distance between them, brushing up against him, still looking him dead in the eye, faces mere millimeters from eachother, she canted her head slightly. "Technically, you are in posession of stolen property...Tyber Zann never was aprehended. That property once belonged to KDY...and by extension, it belongs to oh...me."
Quirking an eyebrow, letting him know she was returning that challenge in full yet again, she could hardly repress the smile she wanted to grace her lips when she followed up that statement.
"So for arguments sake, we'll call this a loan, shall we?"
Of course she didn't mean it, had she not known him and known this, she like many Kuati, might have pressed the point just to be difficult and just for the principle of it all. But KDY could afford that loss, it had survived worse, it had survived it's own one time CEO trying to blow it to smithereens. She just hoped he was still reading the jest in her self assured tones.
His comments about her tasting good, however, did draw out that smile, a little too well she supposed, and while she had hoped to keep a lid on that for a moment longer, she really couldn't help herself. The memories of that moment would remain in her head for many years to come...unless they replaced them by better ones that was.
"Is that so? I will have to sample the delights of Anaxes again sometime soon, i'm certain they are exquisite in all forms."
