It has come to my attention that the main reason for the serious drop off in site activity is that there are some serious grudges going on between people on the site. I don't know the reasons why people aren't getting along but I do know that this turn of events is killing the site. I know that we as people can move past our differences and to be honest, holding a grudge simply because of a disagreement is childish.
That being said, I would like to offer myself as a mediator in a kind of conflict resolution between the players on the site. The grudges that exist between the players on WoSWB is what is killing it, people have left or sparsely show up to the site anymore. If you want to resolve whatever issues you have with a player/mod/admin on site, please contact me and I will do my best to help everyone move past this and get back to the reason we are all here in the first place... to RP and have fun.
Contanct me on YIM @ darthire or through my email. I hope we can put our differences aside and have some fun again.

I personally do not hold any grudges (as I just became a member and thus I am little aquainted with most), however I do note some members that don't seem to take this seriously (IE write everything so that it is almost illegible) and this makes things slightly less fun for me. Just sayin....

I don't hold any grudges, I personally think the conflict could be easily resolved as you say. I cannot speak for others, but I think that whatever bone of contention there was, has passed, but there simply is little in the way of incentives to return. Perhaps introducing a new conflict or plot to bring everyone together again, like the old days, before expanding off into separate ones.
I mentioned to you about the un-disbanding of certain groups, I don't think that having a faction-member-limit was a great idea, so long as the rules in regards to GMing were observed correctly.
But I'm preaching to the choir here lol.

Well I've not seen Camulus on lately and Cook I've only seen cooking pizza (pun intended). Sides, your conflict resolution, way I see it he wants to ignore you then he can't complain when we show up and bomb him since we TRIED to do it the nice way.

again, I'm in a bit of a bind plotwise until some of the others come back. I have a few ideas up my sleeve but I will be out of the country from the 14th - 20th so bear with while we make the transition  |

Oh, where you going Lotva?  You guys do know that the majority of the people that left only signed up just because, they had no plans on RPing. Others have IRL things going on, its not all about bad issues with anyone. I can personally guarantee Volk hates most of you or he wouldn't bother with you(IC speaking ). Doesn't mean he doesn't like you for the fun you bring him. The Vong for example, he hates them cause they smell, but loves to cause them problems or in alot of cases not even a speed bum in their galactic plans The point is if you have a problem with the site or a lack of conflict, bring it up at the suggestion box or on this thread. I might have grown bored RPing here, doesn't mean i haven't stopped showing up to read and post on the threads when needed. |
