*The rock does better than expected it not only takes out the head firedrake but squashes most of the others. The ones left buzz around angrily but distracted they fly off down the tunnel where Zairon had come from looking for who disturbed them. The sound of their buzzing quickly fades. But the noise has attracted the attention of something else, something much more dangerous than firedrakes. It silently approaches where it heard the sound of firedrakes. It sniffs and gives a silent growl. Something is in its territory. It silently begins to stalk Zairon.*

Zairon stops after the firedrakes are gone. He lets it get pure silent as he hears a growl. He turns in the direction he heard the growl and looks around dead silent.
Without moving anything other than his finger, he presses the activator on his lightsaber. Admist the pitch black of the cave, the silver blade is the only light.
However, Zairon doubts this cave creature needs light to see, anymore than he does as long as he keeps his nightvision googles on. He stands his ground waiting for the creature to make an appearance. Ready to slay the creature and end its murderering spree.

*Moving quietly it crouches low when the light from Zairon's silver blade ignites. It growls low in its throat. A Jedi. It thinks. It's eyes begin to glow red as it steps into sight. A Tuk'ata or Sith hound*

Zairon stepped back surprised at what he saw, "Well, well, well whats a sith spawn like you doing on a planet like this?" He ask after a few seconds of silence where he stared at the creature surprised. He hadn't expected one of these.
He twirled his lightsaber as he looked at the creature, "So you're the one causing the trouble." He said outloud. He knew the creatures didn't speak basic, but it was more to just end the errie silence. He reached down with his left hand slowly and reached for his blaster. However, just as he hand grasped it, the Tuk'ata lunged right at him.
Zairon's hand gripped the blaster and it was almost as if everything was moving in slow motion. The blaster was halfway out of its holster, the Tuk'ata was at the peak of its jump and decending right at Zairon. It cleared the holster and he started to point it, the Tuk'ata was now close enough that he could see his reflection in its eyes. He aimed the blaster, but before he could pull the trigger the thing slammed into him knocking him backwards and too the ground.
The blaster flew out of his left hand slidding across the cave floor. His lighsaber barely remained in his grasp. The sith hound lowered its head to bite the knight and was sent flying backwards as Zairon's left hand slammd its jaw and sent a force push.
The creature flew back a few feet from the force push, but got control and landed on all four legs about ten feet away from Sir Zairon.
Sir Zairon quickly started to get to his feet, but was only on his knees when the thing lunged once again for him. Not wanting to get hit again but the hounds weight he dive rolled to his left and barely avoiding the claws as they slammed into the ground where he once was. Rolling to his feet he spun just in time to see the stingers flying right at his face. He quickly brought his left arm up and blocked the poisonous tenticles with his armored bracer. Then swinging the lightsaber up in a counter-clockwise circular motion he slashed at the stingers, lobbing off one.
The Tuk'ata roared and lowered its head looking right at the knight. Then it charged right at him with its three horns pointed right as him. Zairon saw that it planned to gore him. Drawing on the force, Zairon jumped into the air, over the beast and landed on its back. He lifted his lightsaber up and stabbed it into the creatures back. However its thick skin, saved the creature from a fatal blow. Before Zairon could make another strike the creature reared up on its hind legs and attempted to smash Zairon against the wall.
Zairon let out a gasp of pain as he was slammed into the wall. Even armored, the blow was crushing and he was sure that he'd be having to get his armor fixed up after this battle. He predicted that it would be heavily dented. As he hit the ground, he felt a cold trickle down the back of his head and realized that his unarmored head had taken a rough hit and was bleeding.
A massive headache made it hard to focus, but he tried to ignore it as best he could. Right now wasn't the time to worry about his wounds. It was kill or be killed, and Zairon had no intentions of dying now.
Satisfied that the small human was off its back, the Tuk'ata turned back to face the injured knight and it loud out a loud growl. Zairon saw its three rows of sharp teeth. They'd have no problem tearing through his armor if he let them. Forcing himself back up to his feet, using the cave wall as support, Zairon panted and stepped into a fighting stance with his lightsaber pointed at the creature.
His back to the wall and the large creature in front prepared to pounce, Zairon quickly began to form a plan. As the creature lunged at him, its claws pointed forward and prepared to impale him, Zairon once again force jumped over it. The remaining stinger of the creature swung at him mid-flight and with a quick clockwise slash he removed that one as well.
The creature, no longer springing at Zairon, slammed into the side of the cave wall. It roared in anger as it shook its head and turned once again to face the knight who had landed behind it. It swung its tail at the knight and slammed him hard, tossing him across the cave room. Zairon rolled across the rocky ground before finally stopping about forty feet away from where the sith hound was.
"Not...too...bad..." He grunted pushing himself up to his feet as he spit blood out of his mouth. "This is....actually a challange..."
The hound lowered its head once again and charged Zairon. Zairon jumped backwards multiple times drawing on the force as he sprung backwards attempting to keep away from the hound. Even at his fastest jumping speed using the force he wasn't clearing enough space and it was slowly gaining as Zairon jumped through the cave's tunnels.
Finally Zairon smirked and got an idea to try. He would just have to find an area of the tunnel that looked weak enough for him to pull it off before the creature caught up. Drawing on the force he jumped through the tunnels away from the hound faster and faster as the creature charged full speed with its three horns pointed at him prepared to impale him once it got within range. Only twenty-five feet was left between Zairon and the long sharp horns.
Finally Zairon saw what he needed. It was only thirty-feet farther. If only he could make it before the hound caught up. Fifteen feet between him and the Tuk'ata's horns and still twenty feet to where he needed to get. Fourteen vs fifteen. Both were getting closer.
Zairon began to draw on the force focusing on the target that was now only fifteen feet away. He glanced behind him and saw that the horn was only ten feet from his back. He began to use the force to ripp a part of the wall loose. He had noticed that it was already weakened and about to collapse. He merely needed to speed it up. Finally he was five feet from his destination and the horn was still seven feet from his back.
He passed his destination and ripped the rocks down diving forward with one final jump as a chain-reaction caused countless parts of the ceiling to collapse. As he turned and looked he let out a deep breath. The area that had collapsed had pinned the sith hound's back half. Only its front legs and head were still visible. It roared in pain and anger unable to move as it tried to reach the Imperial Knight.
Zairon, exhausted from the long run and using the force so much looked at the hound. He had done it barely. If he'd been even a little slower he wouldn't have made it. Drawing on the force for one final use he hurled his silver blade like a spear right in between the pinned Tuk'ata's eyes.
The creature roared in pain as it pierced its brain before it collapsed dead to the ground. Injured, tired, and sweating from the fight. Zairon slowly walked towards the creatures body and pulled his lightsaber free.
"You were...a worthy...opponent. Rest in peace..." He said before deactivating the lightsaber and clipping it to his belt.
"Now I just gotta figure out...a way out of here..." He said with a frown.

Zairon glanced down at his map to find the way out. "Great..." He mumbled holding up the datapad that continued the map. "Its squished..." He says tossing it to the ground. He started to turn to walk through the tunnels to fnd his way out when he looked back at the rubble from the cave in.
"I wonder..." He said walking over to the rubble. He started moving rocks around looking for Rainbow Gems.

"Well damn..." He says looking surprised. He takes the ones he sees and adds them to his pouch. "Now if I can just get out of here I'll be in good shape." He says turning and walking away from the rubble.
He stopped and closed his eyes drawing on the force. He didn't move and tried to sense which way the correct way to go was. He sensed air currents, warm air, coming from his left. He turned and headed in that direction.
After a few hours of walking through the tunnels and using the force to lead him out he arrived back at the gate.
"Knock, knock." He said hoping the guard was still out there to open it up for him.

*The miner jumps up when he hears Zairon.*
You are back! Thank goodness.
*He unlocks the gate and opens it.*
Did you find was caused the disappearances, Sir Zairon? Is the mine safe now?
*He asks anxiously.*
*Then he noticed the gashes from Zairon's fight with the Tuk'ata.*
You are hurt!
*He pulls out a med-kit and looks for the bacta patches.*

"Yes I found it and killed it." Zairon says causually. "It shouldn't trouble you anymore." Zairon says. "Minor wounds, I'll be fine. Just got bruised up a little from the creature throwing me around."
Zairon removes the night vision googles and puts them back in their pouch. "Now then, anything else you need or shall I head back?" He ask.

*The miner looks relieved when Zairon says it is dead.*
That is a relief Sir Zairon. What was it? Did you find the miners?
Are you sure sir?
*He hesitates holding the bacta patches.*
No, not that I can think of Sir Zairon. We know where the body is so we can get it out of the mine. Other than that no.
The director said you could mine some gems in payment for your services. Were you able to find some? Because if you did I need to write by a receipt for you so you can take them with you without being questioned. You can't believe what some beings try to get their hands on the gems. We wouldn't want you to be arrested for stolen gems not after all your help.
*He gets out the proper forms to sign*

Zairon shakes his head, "I didn't fine the miners, and I'm sorry to tell you this but you probably won't as well. It was a Tuk'ata, commonly called a sith hound. I'm not sure how much you know of Jedi, Sith, and their little battles. But the sith created those things and they are very territorial. For whatever reason one was here and claimed the cave as its terrority."
Zairon nods, "Ya I got some gems when I burried the creature." Zairon says opening his pouch. "I found this among the rubble."

*The miner pales when he hears what has caused the disappearances of his fellow miners. He bows his head sadly. Then looks up at Zairon.*
A very dangerous creature from what I have heard. How it got into the mine I have no idea unless it came in some equipment shipment. I thank you Sir Zairon. For finding it and stopping it. At least there will be no more deaths from it.
*When Zairon shows him the gems.*
May I?
*He takes the 6 gems, he examines each one and then writes a complete description of each one, its size, shape and color. He then hands all 6 of them back to Zairon. He signs, dates and stamps the form. He then hands the original to Zairon.*
That should get you through customs with no problem.
*He holds out his hand.*
On the behalf of myself and my men I thank you for you help.

Zairon takes the man's hand and shakes it, "Don't mention it." He says before turning and heading back to the air-speeder. "Alright, sorry to keep you waiting. Let's head back so I can inform the director that I succeeded." He says.

*The miner walks away to contact the director to let her know of Zairon's success.*
*The driver sits up and says.*
No problem Sir Zairon. I take it your mission was a success? Yes sir.
*When Zairon gets in, the driver heads back to the Director's office. The Director is waiting outside when they pull up. She is smiling.*
Welcome and Congratulations! I have just heard from the Mine that you were successful in both your missions. If there is anything in the future that you need all you have to do is ask. We owe you more than I can say.

Zairon smiles, "You owe me nothing. If anything I owe you. Thank you for allowing me to get these Rainbow Gems. I owe you greatly." Zairon says with a bow. "Besides, I'm glad I was able to remove that creature for you. The loss of lives when I could have prevented it, is a horrible thing."
Then after saying farewell, Zairon turns and leaves the offices and heads back to his ship. When he arrives at customs he shows them his papers that allow him to take the six gems. Once he is cleared he boards his TIE Phantom and departs for orbit.
