Gallinore was famed for its rainbow gems and was also home to a number of high-tech labs.
Including among these a lockdown facility where imprisoned researchers, including a former Jedi, were allowed to continue some work.
During the Yuuzhan Vong Invasion, after the Mission to Myrkr, Jaina Solo and the other surviving members of the assault team flew a Hapan vessel to Gallinore in order to study the Trickster.
It was during this investigation that Solo and Sinsor Khal discovered the secret of the coral implant used by the Yuuzhan Vong.

Sir Zairon arrived at Gallinore in his TIE Phantom and landed at the largest populated area he could find. After his shuttle had been powered down and the security was turned out, the knight exited his vehicle.
Zairon walked through the spaceport and arrived at customs. "I'm Sir Zairon, an Imperial Knight here on personal business." Zairon said with a nod to the customs official.

Sir Zairon looks at the blonde lady in front of him. Like most Hapen women she was attractive. However he wasn't here to flirt with the natives. He was here because his heart was already taken. "Yes, I'm looking for the person in charge of the mining." Sir Zairon says ignoring the flirtatious tone despite the fact that he had noticed it. "I need to speak to him on matters of mining. Truth be told, it's both a mix of personal and business." He says. "Do you have any way I could contact the person in charge?"

*Shakes her head disappointed that he doesn't reply in kind becomes more business-like.*
*She looks at his id and stamps his visa.*
Alright Sir Zairon and it's her not him.
There is an air-car and driver waiting for you Sir Zairon.
Have him take you to the Central Mining Commission Offices.
Ask for the Director in charge they should be able to direct where to go from there.
Have a nice stay on Gallinore.

Zairon nods, ignoring the final comment, "Thank you for your help, milady." He says before turning and heading for the air-car.
As he steps into the car he looks at the driver. "Central Mining Commission Offices, please." He says as he gets in.

"Thank you," He says before stepping out of the air-speeder. Sir Zairon headed into the building and up to the front desk.
"Greetings, I'm Zairon Cetar, an Imperial Knight. I was told I could see the Director about some business." He says to the secretary. "Is there any way I could get an appointment?" He says looking around at the inside of the building.

The Knight nods at the man at the desk, "Thank you, sir." He says before turning sharply and heading for the doors with a quick military step that has become a second nature to him due to his training.
He goes through the doors at the end of the hall and bows, "Greetings, milady." He says remaining bowed until she speaks to show respect. He knew the Hapens weren't trustworthy and were also very female dominent so he figured a show of respect would go along way.

Zairon raises his bowed head and walks over and sits down, "Well milady, I come with a rather...difficult request." He says hesitating before saying diffcult. "I apologize for this, as I'm sure countless people would want to, but I was wondering if there was anyway I would be able to mine or search for a rainbow gem?" He ask. "I'd be willing to do something for you if I need to. I don't ask to take without giving."
Zairon nods, "As such, if there is anything I could do to influence you to allow me to mine for one of those rare gems, I'd gladly do it."

Zairon hesitates wondering how to explain it, "Um, well..." He pauses to get his words straight. "I'm on a quest, if you will. I'm too get a rainbow gem, without buying it, legally and bring it back to someone I care about." Zairon lets out a little chuckle, "Would it be odd if I said it was a quest to win a heart?" He ask.
"As for what I can offer, I'll be honest. I know not what you need or could use. Which is why I can offer my services as a knight, if you need it in some task. Or I can offer my abilites as a force user. I can offer my talents as a fighter." Zairon thinks, "I'm trained in quite a few things and am willing to do almost anything to get this, so whatever you need simply speak it and I'll see if I can do it."

*Though she is a hard head business woman his words appeals to the woman in her.
What woman wouldn't want some one they love to bring them something of great worth as a token of their affection.
There is a slight softening of her expression.*
Perhaps we can come to some sort of agreement then.
*She steeples her fingers together as she thinks.*
I could allow you to go into the mine to look if you can get rid of a certain problem in one of the tunnels.
Clear the tunnel and you can mine for gems in that tunnel.
Does that sound fair to you?
