At least he wasn't already calling what he might deign guards, she had eyed those defences up on the way here, no doubt he had hidden security features everywhere, but that was the risk she had known she was taking in coming here to begin with. Now that he had heard her out, he seemed to be warming to the idea that this could be feasable...and that was always good by her, she was here to lay the groundwork after all, the others would take over eventually, but she had needed to be here for this as much, if not more, than they, she had needed to know she was making a difference simply because at one time, she had been one of those laying waste to these infidels worlds.
"What the extolled stand to gain is precisely what you, yourself, highlighted. At present there are few, save for perhaps the Jeedai, who realize who and what the extolled are, what we did to alter the course of the war." She wasn't boasting, far from it, it was not a very Yuuzhan Vong trait anyway, they spoke in literal truths, little else.
"We wish it to be known that the Yuuzhan Vong will atone for their mistakes, will hopefully intergrate with the natives of this galaxy and one day, be as accepted as many of the species already in existance here." Lowering her head and indeed her tone, Kaalyanii loosed what appeared to be an almost deflated and wistful sigh, though that didn't diminish her size and stature in the slightest, "I realize, perhaps better than most, that this might well be a false hope, but we have to try, and I believe while initially the reactions of the many will be dire, in the far future this could be the making of our new beginning. Yours as much as our own."
Kommisar was, no doubt, wondering what they would ask in return as payment, but in essence, this was all they asked, the Yuuzhan Vong were so self sustaining that they did not require credits to eat, to keep a roof over their head, to live. All Kaalyanii and the extolled asked for in payment was this...
"If you would do us the honour of aiding our plight with favourable words, of course."

Shadow's ship approaches the Imperial Palace and lands in his appropriate landing platform. He shuts down the engines and exits the ship. He makes his way into the Palace and ignoring the guards pushes his way into the Throne Room. He approaches the Throne.
"Greetings my lord Emperor. I am here to inform you that the facilities of Msst are being rebuilt and have resworn their allegiance to the Empire." He then grins behind his mask. "On another matter, my defel friend managed to place a certain explosive device on the Jedi Owabi's ship right before he left Mustafar. It should've detonated as soon as he returned to Yavin IV." He chuckles quietly.

In Kommisar's office...
"Favorable words?" Kommisar asks with a curious look; that can't be all they want besides a chance to prove themselves to the galaxy. In Kommisar's mind this all too simple but the Yuuzhan Vong have never really shown an aptitude for word games like other species and in all likelihood Kaalyanii Hul means what she says in whole. "So we play lip service and show that we give the Extolled support and in return you'll help us create ships unlike anything anyone has ever seen? There is an old saying we infidels have; "when something sounds to good to be true, it usually is."
Kommisar sits forward in his chair and begins to look over the overly ambiguous paperwork that was presented to him before this meeting, he continues to wonder how this came to his desk in the first place. Looking at Kaalyanii Hul, Kommisar sits back in his chair and studies her, he wonders what he should do from here. The prospect of having ships more powerful than anything out there, it could prove to be something decisive in a fight.
"However, I would be a fool if I didn't take you seriously... and offer terms of my own." Kommisar says before rising out of his chair and walking back over to the large window in his office. As he watches the ships, speeders and other vessels soaring through the Carratosian skyline, Kommisar addresses Kaalyanii Hul. "Realize that I can't simply make a decision on this matter, it has to be approved by the Imperial High Command, but if by some miracle that High Command approves the idea we'll want you to work close with one of our shipbuilding contractors and the RGE will oversee the project... not Yuuzhan Vong."
Its clear that this entire thing now hinges on Kommisar and his sway as a member of High Command to make this all happen. *************************************************************************
In the Throne Room...
Ire sees Shadow come in and begins to report, he is pleased to hear about the Msst Facility and the Jedi known as Nick Owabi. "Very good, Agent Shadow. That world might prove to be an asset in the future and Owabi had it coming."
Looking at Shadow, Ire rises and approaches him. "I shall need you soon for something; the RGE is going to be bringing charges against several Jedi soon for their actions of late, one of them is Owabi, and I want you there to help with their apprehension. Consider yourself on alert, we shall be heading to Yavin IV soon to issue the warrants."

Too good to be true? Yes, she had heard this one, Drevin had told her of it once when she had haplessly walked into an ambush of sorts, it made sense to her in a twisted sense of the word. But this really was what it was and moreover it was hard to explain it to someone who was not Yuuzhan Vong without belittling them...and she didn't wish to do that.
So it was with an air of caution about her that she inclined her head in respect, eyes downcast as if she were about to bow to the infidel before her, things would be on his terms, then. If that was the way it had to be.
"Lord Kommisar, we Yuuzhan Vong are a literal species, this I am aware of through no fault of my own...it was told to me by another, one of your kind." Kaaylanii explained carefully, now finally looking up from her position of supplication, "The offer is what it is. We wish the Empire no harm, I understand this may be hard to comprehend, but the extolled are not the yuuzhan vong you fought, our choices were governed by those who would have seen our race wiped out before they submit. The extolled saw the fault in this and rose up for that reason."
The continued survival of her people was one thing, making ammends another, but the two came hand in hand, she would have been a fool if she did not see that. And indeed he seemed to be open to the idea when he had explained that she would work closely with the empire on this project, but the overseeing of the project would be left to others. That was slightly unexpected, but not completely.
"How closely, I wonder?"
The shapers would need free reign over certain aspects of the project, but ultimately it would be the empire's decision when it came to such matters of a technical nature, the fusion was what Kaalyanii's extolled shapers had been perfecting. That alone was key.
"If it is time you require, then I can be reached by villip. I will speak with the shapers I have been working closely with to reach this point, they, too, can be consulted through me. If there are any questions you wish to ask of me now, I would hear them. But I have one of my own"
Diligently, she looked him straight in the eye, peering at him with orbs so dark they could have been hewn from obsidian marble, glimmering strangely in the artificial light of the chamber.
"We wish only to share this information with your empire, therefore we require the utmost secrecty and discression when it comes to construction. Do you have a place where this could be made possible...a mechanized shipwomb?"

"Closely, Kaalyanii Hul." Kommisar says, relenting to the idea that this is all true but not showing it and still keeping the semblence of a guard up. "If we are to provide a "shipwomb" for you, you will undoubtedly be surrounded by Imperials anyway. We will want to see what you have come up with to help the Empire, think of it as the Empire and the Extolled working together to make a better galaxy."
Tunring back to look at Kaalyanii Hul, Kommisar unsettlingly smiles at the Yuuzhan Vong female. "Actually, it would be more perferable to keep you on planet until after the meeting of the High Command. If it is deemed "favorable" then they will want to start quickly."
Walking back to his desk, Kommisar begins looking at reports as he sits back at his desk. He had been wanting to approach a particular shipyard for many months to see about a new star destroyer contract. He pulls the datapad out from underneath. "As long as everything turns out, the Extolled will be seen as the friends of the Empire and you will have what you need. Ask your question and I shall answer."

"It bothers me little how many imperials surround myself personally, but shapers are particular about their work, in this arrangement there must be correct give and take...that is the saying, yes? In order for this to work." Kaalyanii admonished, now he was more than open to the idea, she could better explain herself, or rather the shapers.
Little was known about their caste, even among her own people, the extolled nature of these new shapers changed things slightly, but there was always going to be that fine line of distance between both they and the rest of the Yuuzhan Vong. Now that the extolled were attempting to intergrate the old caste system, things were going to have to happen to break those barriers down one small piece at a time. This was as good a time as any to begin.
"If it is convenient for you, my staying on world, I will do so until you have word on this matter. Until then, then, it was an honour to have spoken with you." Kaalyanii inclined her head again, in a manner only Yuuzhan Vong of old afforded each other, improvements were being made and it was important for the denizens of this galaxy to see that and take conscious note of it too.
"I continue to wait in hope we can embark on this project together."
Now, she thought to herself as she felt the tension dissipate and leave her body completely, they played the waiting game.

Shadow nods his head and bows. "Thank you my Emperor. I am glad I was able to secure the Msst system like you wanted."
He raises an eyebrow. "Arrest warrants on the Jedi? Interesting. I'll be here if you need me m'lord. I'm looking forward to seeing if Owabi survived his little accident."

Kommisar walks over to his desk and presses a button on a small panel to his secretary outside. "Contact the members of the High Command, I'm calling for a level 5 meeting of the High Command."
Kommisar keeps his excitement for this opportunity under wraps on the outside; he is exploding on the inside with joy, this could be the start of something great for the Empire. He realizes he needs to get this cleared with High Command but he is sure he can convince Lord Ire and others that this is a good thing. The secretary outside chimes back and tells Kommisar the meeting is called and he looks up at Kaalyanii Hul.
"You will stay in a your own room inside the Palace in case the High Command wishes to speak with you, my assistant will take you to your room." Kommisar says grabbing the datapad with the initial bare file and smile. "I assume you have some additional information to present to the High Command if needed, so I ask you to be ready to present."

There was little way of telling just how Kommisar had taken the news, the suggestion and more importantly, how he had invisioned the outcome, but Kaalyanii would have to place her faith firmly in the hands of the gods, hoping for the life of her than Yun-Ne'Shel was as in accordance with this intergration as the most high priest had suggested she would be. The portents had been inconclusive, but he had expected to see more within the passing klekket...perhaps, Kaalyanii considered, their hesitance was in mirror to this moment right now? It would explain much, but who was she to interpret the will of the gods?
"I have with me the tool creatures with which to show you what is preposed, successful attempts by our shapers on craft grown and...built on Zonama." She explained, still finding the abominable term a little hard to stomach, but say it she had, and with little preamable.
"They were confiscated by your warriors when I arrived" She supposed they had considered them possible weapons, as with most things native to her people, it could often be turned into some sort of pain-delivering object. This was not the case with what she had brought, she was unarmed in the traditional sense, as much as she could be without removing parts of herself anyway, as a good will gesture.
And perhaps in kind it had been why he had offered her quarters here, a little unorthadox by her own standards, but she also knew it would be a security thing. She would, no doubt, be monitored during her time here and that suited Kaalyanii just fine. They would find no trouble in her if they did not first begin it.
"I thank you, Lord Kommisar, I hope we can reach some accord on this arrangement."
Waiting for those who would show her to her room here to take their leave, she executed another short bow in his direction, a head full of thoughts clouding her mind for the meanwhile.

Kail walks over to Kaalyanii Hul and stands by her side as Kommisar walks towards his private turbolift to the High Command chamber. Kommisar disappears out of his office and Kail motions to the doorway "Right this way, milady." **********Fade out**********

He sees that the Executor is in a meeting with Lord Ire so he decides to go off-world for a while. He heads through the Palace and out onto the north landing platform where his ship, the Valkyrie is docked.
He boards the ship and walks into the cockpit. He does a pre-flight check and activates the engines. The ship lifts off the platform and heads towards the Orbit of Carratos.

"Rise, my friend." Lord Ire says as he peeks up from some data being streamed to his throne to see the Executor bow properly. Ire rises from his chair and begins to walk down the steps towards Zairon, he is blunt and to the point. "I sense you don't like my decision to have the RGE and the Extolled work together, you don't need to explain why, I know your reasoning all too well."
Getting to the point of standing next to Zairon, Ire drops his dark gaze upon the Executor and studies him for a moment, the Emperor of the RGE has questions that might reveal his subordinate's resolve. "Do you trust me Zairon? Be honest, don't hold back simply because I'm standing right next to you."
Ire's thought of readying his lightsaber flees his mind as quickly as it entered, while the Executor is a threat in his own ways, Zairon isn't an immediate threat at the moment. While a day might come that these two would face off, today wouldn't be that day. Looking on patiently, his emotions deeply suppressed, Ire looks at Zairon waiting for his response with an almost cold silence.
