Appearance: Jacen is of average height and build. Whilst not the man he was in younger years, he is still quite athletic, and this shows when not in his Jedi robes. He has brown hair, and eyes to match. He often sports a groomed beard, and short, military style hair.
NPCs: His astromech droid R4-D7 (Arthur), often seen with his Delta-7 Aethersprite.
Personality: Jacen is a man of strong convictions, believing in the power of democracy. He has an innate sense of justice, and seeks to see the oppressed released from bondage. In his younger years, he vehemently stood against all dark side organisations, but in older age has come to believe that dialogue may help, and that life is not always black and white-there are many shades of grey. When it comes to it, he is not afraid to defend his beliefs, but prefers to find peaceful solutions to his problems. Whilst he accepts the way in which the new Jedi live their lives, Jacen is very much a traditionalist, and espouses many of the views of the Old Republic Jedi. He has never taken a wife, or entangled himself in a relationship, always preferring to think of himself as 'married to the Order'. He is a Jedi of some experience, and seeks to use his skills in service of the Order.
Weapons: Jacen has two lightsabers; his own saber that he built as a padawan, which has a green crystal, and the saber of his former master who was killed in the Dark Times on Coruscant, which he has adjusted to be a dual phase blade, with a regular sized blue blade, and a longer silver blade.

History: Jacen Molare was born on Coruscant not long before Order 66 and the last days of the Old Republic. Discovered by an unknown Jedi Master, Jacen was accepted into the Order, only to have to be smuggled out of the Temple weeks later, as Operation: Knightfall destroyed the Temple and the Order with it.
Passed into the orphanage system, Jacen grew up resenting the material excesses of some of Coruscant's population. Becoming a vagabond in his teenage years, Jacen drifted from cantina to tapcaf until he met a survivor of Order 66, who had spent the long years on the run. This old Jedi consular took Jacen in and began to teach him in the ways of the Living Force, unlockin Jacen's potential and heritage. After the death of Palpatine and the Liberation of Coruscant, Jacen joined with other Jedi in the NJO, becoming a padawan, and training under his Master, Jaina Solo.
After some time, Jacen finally gained Knighthood, and from there, became the first Jedi since Ki-Adi-Mundi and Anakin Skywalker to be accepted on to the High Council. Shortly after, he was promoted to Master, in recognition of not only his training of Padawans, but also his endeavours with the Chu'unthor training ship.
During his time on the High Council, Jacen threw himself into assisting in the running of the Order, especially in the area of training, being accepting in the Saber Arts Academy as a Form III Instructor. It was also at this time, working with his former padawan and old friend Pappy-wan Kenobi, that he reformed the Jedi Shadows, an elite covert intelligence group whose mission is to safeguard the Order against the Darkside, seeking it out in all its various manifestations and eliminating the threat it poses.
After some time, Jacen rose through the ranks of the High Council, being chosen as a life-time member, along with Luke Skywalker and Mara Dodge Skywalker. Jacen has gone on to serve the Order in many varied ways over his time, but a few years ago, the Jedi Master wandered off into the Unknown Regions, with his fate left a mystery. Now he has returned to known space.
