Bettie Skirata was born in Mos Eisley, Tatooine, to Venku Skirata, and Aislinn Starredancer, the product of a secret romance. When Aislinn found out about her pregnancy, she and Venku secretly married. Having discovered late in life his force abilities, Venku was forced to go into hiding. It was a time in which the Mando’ade, his former family, were out for the death of all force adepts. So he took Aislinn, and moved from their former home, to Mos Eisley.
The family began to feel a sense of normalcy, and gained a false sense of security. One day, the Imperials stormed their home, having been secretly tracking and tracing Venku’s every move for years. The family tried so hard to run for it, to find their freedom, but the Imperials far out numbered them, and a 6 year old Morri was orphaned, and left for dead.
She tried incredibly hard to care for herself, though watching the virtual slaughter of her parents affected her to the core. One night, when she was sneaking her way through the underbellies of Tatooine, a group of Jedi came in, looking for new force sensitives to add to their ranks. Bet managed to escape, barely.
Being the kind of person she is, she managed to survive, and grow strong. She read books and studied, and gained control of both light and dark sides of the Force. She learned much of how to wield a blade, in the many scuffles she got into with scum buckets through out her young life. She managed to steal weapons, and made money by picking up certain contracts, and working as a Mercenary.
She kept this up until she began to feel alone, and lost. She decided to go find the one person she knew she could always count on. She searched for months, and finally found herself on Coruscant. Feeling small and without place in a new city, she went to the Spire, hoping to find peace and comfort.
She found that and so much more. She met a young Jedi Knight by the name of Revan, he saved her life and showed her what friendship and compassion really were. Revan became her best friend and brother figure, her connection to him was strange and powerful, he was the first person other than her sister that she would lay her own life down to save.
In her time in the city, she met many people who all touched her life in some way. She spent a lot of time alone, thinking and learning, trying to find her place in the force. In the midst of it, she met a young Jedi Knight by the name of Eazy One. He immediately stole her heart, though she didn’t know it yet. Not long after meeting him, she made her decision to head to the Jedi Temple.
When she was there, she was taken as a Padawan by Aayla Secura. She studied and trained hard. While at the temple, she started spending more and more time with Eazy One, and discovered she loved him, and that he’d had her from hello. She hid her feelings, until one day in the Garden. He confessed his love for her, and she for him, and they shared an amazing kiss. They hid their romance, until Bet gained the title of Jedi Knight.
Not long after she gained her knighthood, Eazy and she was out for at their normal place, enjoying the night, when he took her totally by surprise, and asked her to marry him. She accepted whole heartedly, and the two were married by Master Clintro.
The couple rose quickly through the ranks of the Jedi, picking up slack of the failing leadership. Everything was as they thought it should be, until one night. Eazy and Bet were out and about, and Starkiller, a fallen Jedi Master, attacked a pregnant Gert. Being the chivilarous man he is, Eazy jumped in to protect her, and a long battle ensued. Starkiller won that go round, which was not acceptable in Eazy’s eyes. He and Bet sat down for a discussion, and talked about their future. The couple decided to do the most good, they needed more power, a decision that would eventually lead to their fall to the dark side.
Bet and Eazy end up joining, and learning more of the dark side from Starkiller and Selene. They are required to attack their closest friends mercilessly. They do just that, and pass their test. It is at this point in their lives, where they are not longer Eazy and Bettie, but not Menthu and Morrigna. Their time spent with Starkiller and Selene was shortlived, as the couple wanted more. They leave, and head back to Tatooine, and begin life anew, learning and training, becoming the best they can in both the realms of the Force, and in the Saber Arts.
One day while training, Morri received a comm asking her to go to Mos Eisley, to her old home. She had spent time wanting to remember what had happened, who she had been, wanting to bring back all of those repressed memories that she’d learned to shield herself from. So she, along with Kite and Mioti went to the house. Going there was hard, and traumatic, but she was able to rediscover her roots.
Learning who she was, and who she had been, and where she came from meant gave Morri a sense of self like she had never known before. It made her stronger, every bit of pain she had rekindled from her past had made her stronger than she had ever been. She liked it… no… she loved it.
There was no denying that this dark temptress was as lethal as she was alluring, and she wasn’t going to let anyone or anything stand in her way. She made sure that everyone knew that… especially her husband. Menthu, while a strong and deadly sith in his own right, always had a soft spot that Morri lacked. She had been through so much, felt more than he ever could. So it came as no surprise when he found his return to the Jedi.
Morri tried to share her life with a Jedi, as she truly loved him deeply. She wanted it to work, but unfortunately, Menthu found his untimely end… something Morri attributed to his soft spotted weakness.
Losing her beloved husband only strengthened Morri’s connection to the dark forces, though she made sure to keep up her masterful skills she had learned from the Jedi. She figured if she found a way to use their own silly tricks against them, their blood would only taste that much sweeter.
She met many people along her road, some more influential than others. Some were momentary helpers, others pawns in her game… some were even momentary tokens of lust….and later her prey. Oh how she loved the way it felt to feel the pain and life fade from another… it was even better than the tantric actions before…
She had at one point kept in close contact with the infamous Darth Paymon, though recently she had been keeping to herself… It was however time for that to end… it was time to reconnect with her old friend, and restore the sith to their position within the Galaxy… time to bring an end to weakness and uselessness…
