Aurilia

Aurilia was a mysterious village on the planet Dathomir, founded by a small group of like-minded Force-sensitive refugees. In about 1 ABY, it fell under attack from the Dark Jedi Mellichae and his Sith Shadows. They were eventually defeated with the help of an unidentified spacer and Aurilia recovered and grew into a thriving township.

Aurilia was originally founded by a small group of Force-sensitive misfits as a place to practice the Force away from the rest of the galaxy. The village was a simple, rustic place consisting of huts, with a stone wall around the perimeter. To protect themselves, the villagers used their abilities to create a dense mist that surrounded the village. This mist could only be penetrated by Force-sensitives.

In around 1 ABY, the cyborg Dark Jedi Mellichae and his Sith Shadows began attacking the village. Mellichae believed that killing or capturing the village's Force-sensitive residents would be a good way for him to regain the trust of Emperor Palpatine and maybe even earn a place at his side. The villagers worked hard to prepare the village for the attack, but it sustained significant damage. Eventually, with the help of a spacer, Mellichae was defeated and imprisoned in the Aurilia Prison.

Afterwards, the village retreated into the mist and cut itself off from the rest of the galaxy. The mist eventually cleared to reveal a new Aurilia, one that had been rebuilt into a much larger township. Pilots and spacers from across the galaxy flocked to the new Aurila, to purchase rare items from the traders there and to take on dangerous and exciting quests from the Adventure's Guild Hall.

[Tress Odak-Zann]

A lone figure sits by a window as the wind blows from it. Born from a mysterious race by the name of Talortai he was neither bird or reptile, but a combination of both. Ageless and wise for he was aged over four millennium due to the fact of having been born 4000 BBY. He had witnessed many things, seen empires rise and fall. Planets born and destroyed.

Now he finds himself sitting in the seedy cantina in the center of the town of Aurilla, the Talortai, known as Urai Fen waits for his contact. Many long years had passed since he was last here, the last was during the Rebellion against the Empire.


Being a Force sensitive he turns to look at the entrance of the cantina as a Nightsister walks in. She looked around a sneer of contempt on her face viewing those inside as beneath her. That was until she laid eyes on Urai Fen sitting by the window. A slow nod that she receives sends her walking to him. She moved with the sensual grace of a predator and knew every eye was on her, men and woman alike. She reveled in the power she had over them. Nearing Urai Fen, she leans over the table with both hand flat against it, and angrily hisses at him. "How dare you summon me like some....."


Raising his hand Urai silences her. "Sit down Siara and hear me out." Waiting as she thought it over, then as she sat down opposite him. He continues. "I have been sent for and asked around for someone of power. Your name came up as one of the up and coming threats born of this planet. How would you like to serve underworld syndicate.........."

Sitting opposite of him, Siara sneers again at the thought of this creature summoning her. "Why would i serve any criminal element? There is nothing in it for me...."

Lifting his hands in a gesture of appeasement, Urai tries again. "Your mother served this criminal syndicate before you were born. The Zann Consortium was a power in these parts, and will be again. Do not balk at what you do not know. We have been gathering people secretly, and wish to know if you would like to join or not? There will be others willing to take your spot, believe me...." It was true her mother having serve Tyber Zann, even going so far as to betray him seeking more power over the darkside. This planet would serve them well, even if under her leadership. Maybe that would change her mind. "We are willing to fund and assist you in assuming leadership here if that is worth your time."


"Assume leadership here....?" What was he getting at? There were other powerful clans that would fight to remain independent. "What do you mean by that?" It wouldn't be so easy doing what he suggested. There had to be another explanation.
