Cait. Gin & Takeda enroute to somewhere

[Gin Xyrin]

~Gin streches his back popping as he leans back, going a little to far back he falls off his seat as his head connects with the floor~ "note to self never zone out while streching"

~spinning and leaning against his seat crossed legged he pulls off his necklace and sets it on the floor, and starts to focus on it using Telekinesis to lift it of the floor and up to eye level while rotating it, all the while remebering what he was taught about control~ "So where are we goin again"

[Takeda]

As Gin speaks Takeda looks over from his own practice of the force.

"We were heading to Obroa-Skai, but I think something may be going on that might change our plans, I am not sure yet though."

Takeda views what Gin is doing and "looks" at the lines of the force as Gin manipulates them. With a slight bit of whimsical mischievousness, Takeda reaches out invisibly with the force and attempts to coax it so that the necklace rotates in the opposite direction of the one Gin intended.

~feeling someone interfer with his control gin just grins and starts rotating the necklace faster and faster in the new direction till the chain flys off flying over gins head backwards~ "Having fun"

~Gin chuckles as he continues to accelerate the spinning as best he can while closing his eyes and forcing jester into submission as he focuses purely on the object focusing on moving the rotating form in a circle ignoring the mental starin he is feeling~ "please do continue it helps with my practice"

With a slight laugh, Yes actually, I could not resist.

Agreeing that this as a interesting exercise for both of them, Takeda tries to slow the necklace's spin and orbit. Not simply by trying to overcome Gin's TK, but by drawing enough of the force exerted by Gin away from the necklace and to put that power into lighting one of the gems Takeda had been working on just previous to this.

While the prospect of TK and the other applications of the force are highly interesting, Takeda tries to develop a better understanding of how it flows, binds and connects everything. As the sages say, if one understands fire itself, it is never a chore to make one.

~Grinning Gin feels the pull letting it go he he begins to test just how much he can slowly control and exert before exaushting himself he begins to exert just enough more to maintain the rotation and orbit while trying to limit just how much force Takeda is rerouting~ "This should be interesting i wonder which will happen first me passing out or what ever your doing gets an effect"

~at the same time he can't help but feel estatic at jesters silence in his mind~

Takeda channels more into the crystal causing it to glow brightly. Upon hearing Gin's words he cautiously backs off, gradually pulling the "draw" away until Takeda is sustaining the glow by himself.

Feeling it might be a wise time to leave Gin to his own concentration, Takeda stands and walks back to the cockpit. After getting the update from Deweezel, he spends time looking through the nav computer and stumbles upon something that perks his interest. The little known system, sitting way out in Wildspace, all alone and forgotten... but the name, it calls to him from over the millennia, it is a slightly debased form on the nav computer, it's name having become corrupted over time. In time it will bear more investigation...

Sitting as they are at the edge of Obroa-Skai system, he plots several courses, one to said system, one to Kuat, and one to Yavin. Hopefully Cait will get back to him soon as to where they need to head next.

Phedra bored wanders over to watch Gin and Takeda in their "Force" contest. She leans forward interested when she sees the crystal starting to glow. Cool, you got it to work Takeda. She says softly so not to disturb Gin.

She then wanders away again so not to break Gin's concentration. She wanders around the ship poking her nose into various things that catch her interest being curious. She wanders eventually into the cockpit.

What's up? Have you decided where we are going next?

She sits down in the co-pilots chair.

Cait should be done with her call shortly.

Takeda nods to Phedra.

"I think I might be getting the hang of some of it. I should speak with Cait before I pursue it too much further. I think she has some insights to it that are more familiar to me, than another instructor."

Takeda finishes up with the calculations and routing for the prospective destinations. Then looks back over to Phedra as she sits down.

"I am torn between Kuat and going to Lehon to check a hunch. Do you have any idea what is going on?"

Cait would be a good choice. She has a way of trying to look at things from her student's point of view. It is part of her heritage and training. Phedra says as she stretches a good cat stretch.

Phedra shakes her head at his question. No. No more than you do. I know she is concerned with that person from the bar on Coruscant. From what I heard of the conversation as I was passing by Nick believes that the person was someone called Shadow, the assassin that tried to kill him and his wife.

Well if I had my choice we would avoid Kuat at the moment too much drama going on. They will be really scrutinizing any ships that come into the system for a time I'm sure.

She gives him a puzzled look.

Lehon? Why Lehon? A hunch? Hmmm sounds like the Force is pushing you that way. It is usually wise to listen to it. You better talk to Cait though. But knowing her she won't care which one you choose unless there is some reason for her go one place over the other.

Phedra absentmindedly starts playing with her claws making them retract into her hands then pop out again a la Wolverine style.

No. No more than you do. I know she is concerned with that person from the bar on Coruscant. From what I heard of the conversation as I was passing by Nick believes that the person was someone called Shadow, the assassin that tried to kill him and his wife.

"Ah, so that was one of the culprits... It is too bad we did no know that before we left.

I still have not heard if they have the system open yet or if it is still closed down with whatever is going on there. If things are too jumping, I doubt I will be able to get in to see someone of importance without undue scrutiny. It is a shame, since I would have preferred a Kuat built ship."

Takeda gives a sigh when she mentions Lehon.
"It is a very long story, suffice it so say, if my hunch is right, Lehon may be the origin of the people responsible for my race being so few in number."

Phedra looks up from her claws. Yes, the main one. The others we believe worked for him. Yes, that would have been satisfying to take that low life form apart. She makes a wicked swipe with her claws to emphasis her point and a hunter's gleam in her eyes.

If was a ship you wanted you should have talked with Cait's brother. He builds them for fun. He built her new shuttle for one.

Indeed? Her interest is caught. That sounds interesting. If I had a vote we would go there. It sounds more fun than Kuat.

With a grin to the cat girl... "So you are saying that would be the best course then?"

Phedra seeing his grin returns it. She then looks down at her claws while she thinks about his question then she looks up.

If you feel that it is then I would say yes. But talk to Cait first she may have some insight into this. Her connection to the Force is stronger than mine in these things. I have a stronger connection to it in regards to the warrior's arts and the protection of the innocent and helpless.

Takeda looks down at the glowing stone in his hand...

"I think there might be a better answer to the question..."

Setting on the flat of the control panel, he gives it a spin and contemplates.

"It is strange there is not better news out of Kuat... very strange... something is going on there that is not being openly disclosed. If it was just a simple attack it would be all over the news. If it was a government that did it it too would be all over the news. Seems strange to see footage of a battle and no declarations from anyone.

Phedra looks at him with a curious expression. Oh? How so? She watches as he sets the glowing stone on the control panel.

Kuat? Now that you mention it that does sound odd. And there is Cait's friend and his ship that are missing too. I wonder just what the Kuati are trying to hide. She taps her chin with the tip of her claw. I wonder...could the two be related? My danger sense about the situation on Kuat is tingling. Something is definitely up there but the question is what.
