Cait gives Takeda an amused look and says in a teasing voice.
So actual cooking would be a very special occasion? What you need to think about getting is a re-heater unit. They are easy to use and fast. You don't need to know how to cook to use one, just know how to set a timer.

Sounds like a good idea to me. You don't want anything fancy just something that will heat stuff for you with as little fuss as possible.
When do you think we will get there?

Takeda chuckles
"As long it is enough to inspire you to cook like this on the return voyage."
Takeda starts to answer her question about when they will arrive, then pauses.
"Actually I will have to go check, I do not know the course Dweezel plotted, and also I have those new charts, there were a number of better routes laid out on them."

Cait throws him another amused glance. Well considering the hardships I had overcome to prepare this one I'm glad it is edible. I usually do better than this.
Don't worry about checking now Takeda. I was only curious about the length of time it was going to take. If you don't know that's alright.
She helps herself to some more meat.

Takeda finishes his first plate and takes a small portion of seconds.
"Phedra was suggesting to me that I have you assist me with another little project. I thought taking and making a stand that energizes the crystals and simply holds others would make a decent training tool. Something that would help with channeling the force... does that make sense?"

Ah, I understand now. She must have meant the resonance of crystals and its relationship to music. Music is in its essence is about resonance and is resonance.
You want to make the device to practice channeling the Force? She looks at him to get his confirmation before she continues. I think what Phedra meant was that to use the sound of the crystals as the key to knowing when you are Channeling the Force properly in the device. Then and only then the crystal would make the proper sound.

I will look at it after we eat if you want.
Then we can see if we can set something up that will work and do what you want it to do.
I can understand that and practice helps you hone your skill in being able to recognize and use the Force.

Takeda nods and continues eating and enjoying the company.
After a little while as they finish up eating, Dweezel comes back and informs them it is only a couple more hours to their destination.
After cleaning up the dishes form dinner, and stowing the few leftovers for snacks, Takeda asks Cait is she has a few moments to go over the project he is considering,
Shortly thereafter Dweezel notifies them they are exiting hyperspace at Obroa-Skai.

After dinner Cait helps clean up and then excuse herself so she can contact Nick on Yavin IV and let him know her change of plans.
She tells Takeda, "Yes but I need to let my cousin know first, give me a few minutes to contact Nick then we can do that."
When she does she gets a surprise. Someone was about to contact her looking for Corey Dooku.
Security? This Master Cait Windancer may speak to Master Nick Cousland please?
A relieved Lt. Skayanova to Cait. Master Windancer? I'm glad you called ma'am. There is someone here who wishes to speak to you urgently. I was just going to give them your comm number so they could contact you.
Tania? Whenever you call me Master Windancer I know something major has happened. I suppose if they want to talk to me urgently you better patch me through to them.
Yes, ma'am right away. A very relieved Tania says.

Cait talks to Thorne and finds out that Corey and his ship is missing. She suggests that he try to contact the ship is told the following.
Cait looks concerned when Thorne says they tried to contact Selena and couldn't get her.
That is not good. I agree something must be blocking or jamming her communications. I hope she is not unconscious that would be very bad.
That wouldn't even be a bet Vice Admiral. Corey has a way of being in the middle of Chaos or creating it.
Yes, I know he does. *She shakes her head but smiles* That's Corey for you.
If you don't mind me saying Vice Admiral I hope you are wrong. I would hate for anything bad to happen to him.
You're welcome. I wish had been able to be more helpful. His disappearance has me concerned.

Hey Nick I thought I give you an update. We just left Coruscant and are now on our way to Obra-skai. We might go to Kuat next if they are allowing flights in by then. I want to check on something. I'm sure you are aware by now of our visitor in orbit. It was a Grey Order ship looking for Corey. It seems that he is missing.
If you hear anything in regards to Corey or his ship Selena's whereabouts would you please contact Vice Admiral Thorne of the Grays on his ship the God's Hand. Tania has his information.
So how are things going there?

While Cait makes her com transmissions, Takeda relaxes and returns to puttering with his little project.
He relaxes and opens himself to the force, noting how it flows around and into the energized stone.
Concentrating, he reaches out to it and tries to coax its path. After several moments he starts to see the effect. For the next few minutes he spends the time trying to refine the very slight distortion instead of trying to get it to go farther.
