Luke leaned back away from the shoto. He blocked the lightsaber with his own using a circular motion to block and come back around to slash at the foot aiming for his knee. He attempts to cut through the leg midway between the knee and ankle. Immediately following the slash, Luke attempts to kick Zanear in the solar plexis in an attempt to rob him of his air.

As Luke makes the most impossible double defense move the Falleen has ever seen, he feels a tingle down the back of his spine and pulls his foot back quickly before fully extending, the tip of Luke's saber slashing through Zanear's boot top and drawing a thin red line along the top of the Falleen's foot. Quickly placing his right foot back behind him, he grimaces as the pain shoots through his leg.
Stabilizing himself, Luke kicks out his own foot in a shot at Zanear's solar plexus. With his weapons out of place, and the quickness of the kick, all he can do is jump as the kick lands, and let the momentum carry him over and across the arena in a long backflip. The Falleen lands in a crouch, his face a mask of anger. He sets both weapons out wide and moves back in slowly, circling as he goes.

Luke presses his advantage. He charges Zanear and uses a force pull on the shoto with his left hand. He pours all of his will into it. At the same time he cuts diagonally from Zanear's right shoulder to left hip. Luke drops into a defensive stance, still exerting full pressure on the force pull on the shoto.

Zanear begins to feel the Force being gathered around Luke, the famialr sensation of a Force Pull, and on the same weapon hand as before. Twisting his wrist, he lets go and at that same instant, slashes his other weapon down, slicing the shoto in half as it starts to shoot from his hand, the components scattering in several pieces, yet still flying at Luke as he exerts full pressure in the Force.
The Falleen stands completely and pivots his entire body on his right foot so that the slash comes in as his body is in profile. Zanear brings his left handed saber close to the body and swings it up and over Luke's slash, batting it now down and away from him, with his own lightsaber on top of Luke's.
With Luke completely on his left, and his weapon parried down and left, the Falleen snaps up and thrusts the blade directly at Luke's unprotected right shoulder, then slashes up slightly to neck level, coming back across from right to left seeking to behead the Jedi Grand Master!

Seeing the shoto destroyed and pieces flying at him, Luke stops the Force pull and lets the debris land at his feet. With the stab at his shoulder and cut at his neck, Luke drops into a crouch just a second too late. The stab at his right shoulder connects with the bottom of the blade touching the top of his right shoulder, slightly cutting into the flesh as he drops into a crouch. He winces at the pain, then blocks it out using the Force. The slash cuts some of his dark blonde hair as it goes over his head. Luke slashes at Zanear's left knee, then rolls backwards and stands, coming to rest in a defensive stance.

Luke had reacted well, and yet Zanear had scored a hit! Even so he was quick to react, his left lower flank was open, and Luke took advantage. He swung his lightsaber at Zanear's left knee, and the Falleen had only one option...he did a Force assisted upwards back-flip, the blade slashing a small cut along the back of his leg as he flipped. It stung, the Falleen had two wounds on his legs, although nothing too terrible. He'd suffered worse in his training days as a youth.
With the Jedi rolling back and away, then coming up to defensive again, he moved back in, slowly, taking his time. He glanced at the chrono and saw that time was almost up...so he went into action once again, slashing at Luke's knees from Zanear's right to left, then moving up and stabbing at Luke's right armpit. At the same instant as he swung his lightsaber high, he threw a punch at Luke's throat!

Luke parried both lightsaber attacks, down low and up high. He took a step back, and using the Force, blocked and grabbed Zanear's fist. Making sure he had a firm grip with the Force, Luke attempted Cho Mai, trying to make a cut at his sword wrist. If successful, Luke will cut off Zanear's blade hand.

Luke moved to defend, and then attempted to grab the Falleen's fist. The Jedi was partially successful, he blocked the punch and had a loose grip, one with which Zanear twisted his wrist as Luke slashed at his left wrist! He simply pulled that hand back, and Luke's green blade connected about 3 centimeters away from the hilt on Zanear's red blade. Grinning, the Falleen then used his right hand, the one Luke had grabbed at, and sent out a Force Push at Luke's chest at point blank range.
Nice try, but no cigar....

The Force push moved Luke backwards. Luke stopped a few meters away. He centered himself in the Force and unleashed a non-lethal Electric Judgement on Zanear. Green sparks jumped from Luke to Zanear. This lasted for several moments.

(Final Round, defense only)
With the distance created, and Luke gathering the Force for a powerful attack, Zanear simply gripped his forearm with his right hand, holding the tonfa in his grip as well, and used the red blade to absorb to Electric Judgment, the blade blocking and cascading the energy all around until the timer went off, and the duel had officially been declared finished.
Once all things were done, the Falleen shut down his weapon and bowed slightly to Luke, and then turned and bowed to the Judges. Putting his one good weapon away he leaned against the wall, and lit another smoke stick, enjoying the moment as he awaited the final score.

Luke finished his attack, and bowed to the Falleen. He then turned to the judges and bowed also. He shut down his lighsaber and sat down in the lotus position. He calmed himself and opened himself up to the Force. He calmed himself and rested while awaiting the judges decision.
