This arena is guarded by a force field to allow the veiwers a safe place to watch the duelists. There are many weapons stocked in the arena,though after the duelists choose which weapons they will use they may not pick up any other weapons,though they must explain how they destroyed the force field to get to any bleachers or to get up into the stands.
Each Duelist may enter from the opposite side of the Arena from the other duelist. Well that's all. Have Fun and may the best duelist win.

Luke enters the arena from the south. He is only armed with a lightsaber and a shoto, both are on his belt. While waiting on his opponent, Luke meditates in the Force and centers himself, giving himself over to the Force.

The Falleen walked down the tunnel from his locker room and into the arena. He stood at the entrance languidly, in his left hand he held a half-smoked ciggara, leaning against the door.
He studied the famous Jedi Grand Master. He seemed an awful lot shorter in person.....
Equipment
2: Tonfa-styled lightsabers (one green bladed and one red bladed)

Luke bowed to his opponent. He removed his lightsaber from his belt, but did not ignite it. He struck a defensive pose, and waited for Zanear to make the first move. "Whenever you are ready."

He watched as the Jedi got ready. Slightly nodding his head in return to the bow, he drew his arms in and held a deep breath, releasing it slowly and he strecthed his muscles. He left his weapons on his back as he slowly moved towards Luke, walking in a circluar motion.
So..no witty banter eh? No spouting the Jedi way? I'm rather surprised.... And with that he drew both of his weapons with a fluid grace, holding them by the handles with the long end under his arms. Igniting both weapons with a simultaneous snap-hiss and not bothering to wait any longer, he struck out with his right arm aiming a blow at Luke's temple, while swinging his left down at Luke's ribcage. With both attacks coming at the same time, he kicked his right foot out at Luke's left kneecap, looking to shatter it.

Luke instantly stepped back, away from all three attacks. "Nice try." While Zanear was still on only one leg, Luke used force push to push Zanear farther away from him. He removed the shoto from his belt, and placed it in his left hand. He left both the lightsaber in his right hand and the shoto in his left unlit. "Do you have anything fancier?"

"Do you have anything fancier?"2/10 Some how, amazingly, he stepped back way far out of the way to avoid all his attacks. And then Luke let out a Force Push in the middle of his own kick attack! The Falleen took it in his chest, and with him being in mid-kick he slid backwards several meters. During the slide, he pushed off his left foot, and letting the momentum flip him up and over, landing on both feet crouched low as he slid a few feet more until he bumped up against the Force Field. The Falleen laughs at his comment. Actually, yes I do have something fancier. He then shuts down his lightsabers, although he still holds them, their just de-activated. Walking once again in a circle pattern, he moves closer and closer, watching the famous Skywalker as he moves. Once he gets within two meters, he taps into the power of the Force to increase his speed, and lightning fast, he strikes! Zanear throws a butt end punch (using the tonfa) at Luke's face. He then crouches low and spins his body in a 360 degree turn, extending his left leg out at about shin level in order to try and trip him up and possibly knock him to the ground. |

The force of the blow disrupts his balance. Rolling with the blow Luke moves to his back and continues the roll, getting to his feet. He ignites both the lightsaber and shoto. Luke steps towards Zanear. He cuts in an X pattern, lightsaber from left shoulder to right hip, followed by shoto right shoulder to left hip. |

The Falleen stays crouched after knocking Luke down into a roll. The Jedi rises and ignites his weapons.
Finally!, Zanear thought, and then stands as he approaches. Luke leads with his right lightsaber, slashing at a downward diagonal. Zanear lifts his left arm up and hits the switch, igniting the red blade as it intercepts his attack at the mid point of it's downward arc, while doing the same with his right arm, igniting that blade again against the shoto, blocking that also at the midpoint.
With both of their arms up and wide, he steps forward and throws his left knee at Luke's midsection, then switches and throws the right knee at the same spot. Drawing his blades back down, he stepped back and held his weapons at the mid defense level, watching Luke's reaction.

With arms still extended, Luke twists his body to right and to the left to absorb most of the force of the blows. He holds his breathe as they land, then slowly exhales. He watches Zanear as he drops to a defensive stance. Luke shuts down the shoto and hooks it to his belt. Focusing and allowing the Force to guide him, Luke tries something different. Reaching out with his left hand, Luke attempts to pull the lightsaber from Zanear's right hand. He exerts all his will, remembering that there is no try. There is do, or do not.

The Jedi had done a decent job defending the blows yet he still made no attempt to show his blade skills. That's when he stepped back, and put away his shoto. He could feel the Force being gathered around Luke....his weapon...himself...the room....it surrounded us and binds us all. Grinning he felt the pull on his right tonfa, but instead of fighting it, he did the next best thing. Turning his body at the waist, his left shoulder forward, he swung his waist and extended his right arm, releasing the activated weapon as the Force Pull took hold, basically launching the weapon directly at Luke's chest.
With the Jedi Grand Master's attention on using the Force to pull Zanear's weapon, the Falleen only thought it fair to return the favor. As he released his tonfa, he gathered the Force around himself and Luke's now put away shoto, pulling that weapon into his own hand.
Smiling, he twirls the smaller weapon in his right hand, leaving it deactivated. Nifty little thing....one for one I always say. He chuckled at that and said you ever use one of those things? Much more dangerous than you'd think. Handling them is a unique skill all it's own.

"No I haven't." As the lightsaber approached, Luke used his own lightsaber to cut the hilt in half and let it drop to the floor.
Turning his attention to Zanear, he opened himself up to the Force and allowed his hand to be guided. Cutting from left shoulder to right hip, right hip to left hip, left hip to right knee, Luke in effect cut in a Z pattern. He then dropped into a defensive stance.

What a shame..... that took me quite some time to make. He then made his move to attack Zanear. The Falleen swung his left arm in a short upward arc, blocking high the slash to his shoulder. Flipping the switch on Luke's own shoto, he aimed it down to block the strike at his right hip, and then swung his left handed saber down along the same arc as the first, blocking the strike at his knee. Luke then moved back and took a defensive stance, but Zanear pressed in to counter attack. Feinting with the shoto at Luke's face, he instead swing his left tonfa blade at the Jedi Grand Master's right knee. Pulling the shoto back, he thrust it again at Luke's chest, this time not feinting, but following through. Lastly, he spun in a 360 degree turn, swinging his tonfa out long and slightly crouching, striking at Luke's back along his shoulder blade level. Coming to a stop, he stepped back and held his tonfa in the low guard, and Luke's own shoto in his right hand in a mid guard. |

At the beginning of his attack, Luke used a Force jump to avoid the attack at his knees and move up and behind Zanear. Landing as Zanear finished his 360 degree turn, Luke stabbed at him between his shoulder blades. He then assumed a defensive stance.

Luke had Force Leaped up and away from Zanaer's attacks, then landed behind him. Luke thrust his blade at the center of Zanear's back, but the Falleen had already begun to stand, turning to face his opponent. With his tonfa in the low guard and the shoto held at mid guard, he swung the smaller weapon up and out, deflecting the attack out and away from him.
Zanear then brought the shoto back towards himself and then shot it out in a forward thrust at Luke's neck! he then stepped forward on his left foot and swung his tonfa out from the low guard to slash from Luke's left hip to his right shoulder. As the slash ended, he swung his right foot in a short kick to Luke's left knee, seeking once again to smash it.
