Name: Heg'zi Ausbruc Klask
Rank: KDF Colonel
Race: Human
Age: 55
Faction: Independent
Force Sensitive: No
Appearance:
Standing at 5'11" he is a fairly wiry older man, mostly bald, with what little of his hair remains having gone long ago to gray. He sports a iron gray mustache, and is usually in his KDF uniform. Holstered his belt hangs a pair of ornately engraved blasters, the handles of which are carved from rancor teeth.
NPCs: KDF personnel as necessary.
Personality: Gruff, he usually spends more time thinking than speaking, does not mince words and take firm courses of action with what he believes is the right way. He is known to be highly outspoken, painfully so.
Weapons:
His personal weapons are two ornate heavy blasters he wears while in uniform. Of course depending upon the situation he may arm himself much more heavily.
Ship: Requisitioned as needed
History:
Born to a decent military family on Kuat itself, he excelled in school and entered into the Imperial Academy where he excelled. Graduating with honors he was assigned as an aide briefly to General Viers, a man whom he admired greatly, he considers the best part of his career the time he spent serving with the General during the Hoth campaign.
He was not present during the fateful battle at Endor, having been posted elsewhere to maintain order. When the news of the death of the Emperor spread he found himself and his garrison under siege by a rebellious populace. Though while the system fell to the forming Alliance, his tactics and leadership saved many of his men and loyal Imperial citizens who were later evacuated to safety, he was later highly praised for this, though he suspects it had more to do with his securing of important military hardware preventing its capture.
He became somewhat noted for his successful management of assault and defensive operations. A specialty he despises deep down, since the reality of a successful conquest has never been the ideal he envisioned as a youth, nor the overwhelming success of the Hoth assault.
After the first death of the reborn Emperor, he became highly disillusioned with the Moff Council. After several brutal encounters with the New Republic, where his troops took heavy losses due to lack of equipment and Naval support, he was given a General's rank to lead a renewed assault to XXXX (will look it up later) When it became clear this assault was a paper tiger, and that he had insufficent support, he confronted the Imperial Command, with his words falling on deaf ears he chastised their lack of grounding in reality and resigned his commission.
He returned to Kuat, where his family had been prominent citizens for centuries, and tried retirement. His wife in desperation plead with him to join the KDF for her own sanity. While he spends much of his time off world, he returns home when he is able. He has considered joining the RGE, but his disillusionment of High Command has been strong enough to keep him from pursuing it.
