*Cate listens but doesn't hear a response from Aeron. She sighs*
Cate to medics:
What can you tell about the situation? Just what is the extent of her injuires?
*She listens as they explain. She nods but frowns when she hears just how bad it is.*
Alright thank you. That gives me a better picture of what is going on. I will try to see what I can do for her.
*She then closes her eyes again. She concentrates and allows the Force to flow from her into Aeron. She allows it sense Aeron's injuries and search out the most serious. A glow of light surrounds at first her and then Aeron. It grows brighter as she draws more on the Force. She is drawn to the area of the Spine. She straightens out the bones and vertebra. She heals the strengthens the nerves. She sends healing energy into the rest of the body to strengthen and speed up its healing. She begins to shake and turn pale for drain on her energies. She reluctantly releases her healing trance and slumps over exhausted.*
That is all I can do at the moment.

The medics back away as Cait takes charge. Some nurses tend to the readings of the monitors while the medics take a short break and watch Master Windancer. The leading medic touches carefully Volk’s shoulder, “Sir? You’re her husband? I’d like a word with you. Get a short break here and I’d like you to know certain things about your wife and what you’ve to expect.” The middle aged medic looks for a moment to Angel, “You’ve been here before, little one, knows the smell already.” He waits a moment for Volk to gather himself together and follow him to the side. Doctor Wurm says quietly, “As you can see her legs and one arm got crushed by heavy plates from the damaged ship, also her hip bones are damaged. Her spine is broken, nerves severed. If Master Windancer manages to heal that, then there are good chances that she might feel something in her legs again, even walk. I don’t yet know if we are able to restore the bones. Sir, I want you to realize that the re-growing, re-nursing of her legs will take a long time. It will be frustrating, it will be hard, and I can promise you already that you will have to be strong for her. What also gives me a headache is the condition of her arm. Depending on the progress she might never regain full movement again. Sir, I know that sounds all rather harsh and everything, but please keep in mind, she is alive, and I have no idea where she took the strength for that. I never saw someone surviving without bacta even just 50 percent of the wounds. There is something else ... I don’t know if Kage Aeron is aware of it herself, probably not. I need to know what to do when it depends on it.”

*Nodding at what is being said, Volk understands most of what is being said. Things would take time with the injuries and rehealing. He knew all that and would be there for her always.
Though he didn't know what she wanted. For her arm to be useless or not, with help it could work again. All they had to do is wait and trust in the force.*
I understand all that, Doc....but, what are you talking about?
*Volk was lost what else was wrong.*
I something else wrong or could be a complication in the future?

He takes a deep breath, “I am nearly certain, Master Malreaux that you wife might never regain her full ability of movement. The Force, for sure is a great aid, but with the severed nerves and injuries ... I don’t know how it should be possible.” Doctor Wurm looks at him, “There is for sure a complication in the future. While examine your wife when she was brought in here we found something, something rather unusual. She had extending inner bleedings on several organs but one. It seems as had she protected it on instinct, even unknowingly to herself. Sir did you and your wife talk about more children?”

*Good thing for Volk he was standing against the wall, because if he thought of where the Doc's thougthts were going, he was going to be a dad again. Though he wanted to make sure.*
Yes, we talked about children, and that she couldnt have more. What are you talking about? What are you telling me, Doc?

“I can see why she’d say that and think that, nature thought differently though. Master Malreaux, now this is nothing to think of under normal circumstances, but we are far from that. She might be heavily pregnant by the time she has to relearn walking, do exercises for muscle build up and everything. Now it’s already not easy to do that when recovering but ... I really have to ask you if ...” he trails off, not wanting to suggest that it might be better not to go ahead with the pregnancy which is at the very beginning.

*While the conversation has been going on Cate has been healing Aeron. Just before she collapses she senses new life within Aeron. She sends healing energy toward it strengthen it just before she collapses from exhaustion.
She thinks I have been doing too much lately I shouldn't be this tired yet.
Slumps over and slides to the floor to sit in a tired heap on the floor.*

Its good news, Doc....though it comes at a bad time.
*Shrugs knowing his wife*
Knowing her, the baby will push her to recover faster. We'll deal with things down the road, after she is awake I will tell her the news. Tell me about those nano bots....will they cause problems? For the baby I mean...and any complications you might foresee down the road?
*Looks at Angel*
You going to be a big sister to someone down the road..
*A giggle comes out of her.*
Guess you like that idea, huh?
*Kisses her nose.*

“I never said the timing is perfect, when is it?” He nods in understanding. “Okay, I just wanted you to be aware of things as far as they can be told yet. The nanos? They are like miniature robots if you want to, intelligent but of the size of a cell if you want to. Well of course not but close enough. They repair damaged blood vessels. That works like rebuilding cells without doing so. Imagine some building bricks ... they settle where cells are not there and close the gap but in a way that the blood flow is allowed. There were earlier techniques where some kind of extension is placed into veins to open them up and keep them open. It’s based on that. Do you know what I try to say? Anyways, when the body was able to repair the damage with it’s own cells the nanos just leave the body. There is no problem for the baby at all, promise. Complications, well her hips are broken that might cause some problem in the future, so we should see that those bones heal quickly. We will see as we go and try creative thinking about problems.” He watches with a smile the exchange between father and daughter.
A nurse standing close to Cait, catches her before she falls onto the floor. “Doctor, she fainted,” she calls. Immediately others helping here to place the unconscious Jedi on a bed and rolling it to the side so that the medics can tend to Aeron again. “We best let her sleep it off. She must be exhausted. There is nothing much we can do for her then let her sleep.” Cait’s bed is pushed to a quiet room, where a nurse put a blanket over her.

“Please this way, Chunin Kenobi,“ the officer leads Kevin through the ship toward the medbay where Volk and Cait are already watching over Aeron.

*Kevin follows the ensign to the medbay and sees Aeron in terrible shape. He nods to Volk, who is holding his daughter, and sees Cait inside on the floor asleep. He goes over to Volk to talk to him.*
Hey Volk. How's Kage Aeron doing?
*Kevin smiles and waves at Volk's daughter*

*Kevin nods*
Thanks Volk. I'll go in and check in on her and help her out if necessary.
*Kevin goes into the medbay and goes over to Cait, who is asleep. He nudges her to wake her up. While he waits for her to wake up, he sits down next to Cait and reaches into the Force to see what he can do for Aeron.*

*When Kevin nudges her Cate's eyes flutter open. She sees Kevin standing over her and smiles.*
So you got my message. Good.
*She struggles to sit up and then falls back down not quite able to do it.*
I think I tried to do too much when I was already tired.
*To the nurse.*
Thank you for your quick actions. I will be fine I'm just tired. I will try to do more healing when I have recovered. Aeron should be fine for now. She isn't go to die at least.
She is in healing trance that should speed up her healing.
*She struggles to sit up again and almost makes it this time and leans on one elbow.*

*Kevin smiles when he hears Cait wake up, keeping most of his concentration on Aeron*
Good to see you awake, Cait. I left Yavin as soon as I heard what happened. I started monitoring Aeron through the Force after trying to wake you. It was the only thing I could think of doing, as I'm not really skilled at healing.
