Nick nods his head and looks at Cait. "That's right. I forgot our people were around before the Jedi and Sith even started. Huh, interesting. Speaking of Eleyn, how is she. I haven't seen her or Phedra around any lately."
He then looks at Cait and raises an eyebrow. "Sitting slash bodyguard job? What's that supposed to mean Cousin?"

"Remember the Spire Nick? I had to babysit you!" Sticking out her tongue, she giggles. "Takeda, if you haven't noticed, I have been friends with Nick and Cait for a long time. Babysitting not so much, that is why Kal is still here. Takeda is going also learn a few things!"
R9 rolls in with Grainne's bag holding her swim suit and towel. Taking the bag, she heads to the ladies locker room to change. Heading back out she looks down at her growing belly, she blushes and sighs.

They are both fine. Eleyn had return home for a while. Some family business she had to take care of she will be back soon. Phedra has been guarding Colin. She chuckles. And between her and Aine they have been driving him crazy. He can't get away with anything. Better him than me. Now he knows what I have had to put up with.
At Nick's raised eyebrow Cait gives him an all too innocent look. Takeda just said he was good at sitting. What do you think it means Cousin? She then bursts out laughing at Grainne's babysitting comment.
Yes, we have been friends for a long time. Are you going to teach him about the Force Grainne?

Takeda still kneeling since it is easier to converse at near eye level that way, softly chuckles at Both Grainne's and Cait's comments. "Master Fett was explaining about the force to me, this is all quite fascinating."

(G-moding Nick by his permission until he gets back.)
Nick is not fooled one bit by Cait's innocent expression. Ha, ha. Cousin. Very funny you two. I don't need a babysitter.
Good. So when are they coming back?
He laughs at her description of Phedra and Aine driving Colin crazy. Poor Colin. At least its Phedra not Eleyn she was always stricter of the two if I remember right.

Walking to the steps of the pool, Grainne looks at the three of them. "I know like a batha in the water!" Swimming under the water, she pops her body back up and smiles. "Takeda, you have honored me by assisting me!"

After Grainne is comfortably settled into the water, Takeda goes to the far deep end of the pool, addressing Cait as he passes. "I would be happy to assist on your assignment when I am not on assignment with Master Fett..." With a huge smile he adds, "Or swimming"
He takes one quick step towards the pool ans with a hop folds neatly in half and dives in his tail snaking after him, though there is a splash it is by far much smaller than one would expect a creature of that bulk creating. (Visual reference watch a 800 pound croc cut the surface of the water as it goes in after something with barely a splash.)

Cait grins then says to tease him. Don't you, Cousin? I think maybe you do.
Yes, Eleyn is. *sighs* Very. I wish I was half as good of a healer as she is though. But the Neysai are the best healers in this galaxy or any other.
To Grainne.
Not at all Grainne.
To Takeda.
Do you have questions about the Force or anything else, Takeda?
She laughs when he says would be happy to assist her on her assignment.
Thank you Takeda. I might take you up on that if some people don't behave themselves.
She grins up at Nick.
He raises his eyebrow at her. He knows she is teasing him.
Ha, ha. Very funny Cait. He jumps back into the pool and when he comes up rolls over onto his back to float on the surface of the water.
She just giggles at Nick's expression and says to Takeda.
Nice dive. Most impressive. Do you like to swim Takeda?
She slips into the water and ducks her head under water for a moment. She then swims lazily toward the deep end.

laying on her back flowing, Grainne listens to the three around her. "Lovely and graceful Takeda!" paddling to Cait she laughs, "The ladies have always healed me well!" looking at Nick, she giggles, "Nick, need I remind you of you and I squished i the cockpit of the Crown. That was babysitting!"

Takeda comes to the surface the opposite side of the pool from Cait. "Literally thousands of questions, I guess the first one is how does one sense it, where does one even start to look for it? Do you have a way to project it so one who is un-knowledgeable may feel it? "
To Cait and Grainne, "Thank you for the compliment, swimming was one fo the few real joys of training as I was growing up. I spent as much time swimming as I could. Later on it certainly took many of my fellow retainer-brothers by surprise when we had to lessons of fighting in the water."

Have they Grainne? Cait smiles as she treads water. I'm glad.
Nick blushes when Grainne reminds him of that particular trip. That was babysitting? It was more like being squished. He ducks underwater and comes up near Cait and Grainne.
What are you two plotting now? He asks with a raised eyebrow.
Cait look at Grainne and winks. She then looks back at Nick and chuckles. Nothing, Cos.Yet.
Nick groans. Why did I ask?
Cait chuckles in response. I don't know Nick.
You're welcome Takeda. I like the water too.
Cait rolls over on her back while she thinks about how to explain sensing the Force. Hmm...good question. Sensing the Force...It is more something you feel than look for Takeda.
I want you to try something if you will. First can you just float without swimming? I want you to close your eyes and relax but I don't want you to drown doing it.

He nods to Cait "Yes, I can float" he closes his eyes and leans back, relaxing as he does so. After a fem moments his breathing slows and it almost looks as if he is asleep.

Good. When he leans back and floats there appearing almost asleep. Very good, I think you will be good at this.
She swims next to him and rolls over on her back to float. She also closes her eyes. Now I want you try to sense what is around you without opening your eyes. Can you do that? Tell me anything you are sensing. Hearing, smelling, feeling.
Her voice is soft and soothing.

A moment passes before he answers. "Of course I can hear, smell and feel you, your right next to me. A bit farther away over by the edge of the pool is Master Cousland, I can hear and feel him splashing lightly, and at the end of the pool is Master Fett"
He resumes being silent for nearly a full minute, his voice is very calm when he speaks again. "Even without feeling by touch, smell or sound, I could tell you are there, I can feel the ummm... weight... of Master Cousland, I do not mean to be remiss, but something concerns him, this is how I can tell..." His voice takes a different pitch and cadence as Cait has seen before when he recounted the historic tale earlier. "A warrior needs to develop zanshin, he must see, without sight; he must hear without ears, he must feel with no body. This is the true path, not the strength or speed one wields his blade."
He goes quiet and still again.

Very Good. Cait says. You are exactly right.
Cait nods. Yes, you have it. What you have just described is sensing the Force. It is the energy created by all things. It connects us to each other. Through it you can tell where other things are without seeing them with your physical eyes. It is the sharpening of all your senses and in most particular your inner sense. Know this that most cultures know this though they may call it by different names. But call it Force or zanshin it is one and the same.
She looks at Nick then back at Takeda. Yes, he does have something that concerns him. You must be very sensitive to be able to sense that through the Force with no Force training.
