She had stood, accompanied by the two armed representatives the whole time, for a considerable ammount of time while the high command sorted their ideals out amongst themselves, discussing what she had quite literally brought to the table. The villip they could do with as they wished, keep it for their own study or return it to her, it made no difference. But it was the dissent in the ranks that had concerned her more, how everyone save for a marginal few had considered this a good idea.
But can you blame them really? Can you not understand their unwillingness to trust? - of course she couldn't, she surmised after a few moments.
And then the doors to her right had opened, several members of the high command stepping out into the grand atrium beyond, many of them keeping their distance, the occasional sideways glance, but Kaalyanii kept her composure, she was Yuuzhan Vong, intimidation was a creche technique taught to warriors barely knee high, she would never have made it to the rank she once attained if she had been easily intimidated.
But noting the guards altered stance, she was pleased to see Kommisar approaching, his pace brisk and expression as unreadable as all infidels seemed to behold. So in essence, she had no idea as to how that meeting had gone, much less could she have expected what he was about to tell her.
And then he said it, and she couldn't help but scowl.
Execute her? Well, that might well have been what they would have done, had the proposal not gone over well but she wasn't aware that these beings adheared to the same kinds of practices. This was not favourable, not favourable at all, but she wouldn't shy away from a fate that macabre. And she hadn't quite understood the latter part of his sentence.
"Joking?" She queried, her nose ridge wrinkled with the severe nature of her frown, which could have looked agressive...and judging by the manner in which her two companions looked like they were ready to pounce on her, it evidently showed through...but this deeper set kind of frown was little more than confusion. A silent askence for explaination.
It was what he said next that took her aback.
"This news is favourable, this I can relay back to my superiors without shame. I am certain that you will not be disappointed, where the shapers are conerned there is no room for error, they would not have bid me the right to present this opportunity to you if their shaping was not completely workable." She enthused, about as excited as a fully grown Yuuzhan Vong could be...so perhaps he should have been thankful for small mercies, since she had forgone the customary crack across the shoulderblades with an amphistaff...of which she had had confiscated before being allowed to speak with anyone here.
"Now we will upkeep our side of this offering, will you keep yours? You have a shipwomb of your own, or another in mind?" Expectantly she loomed there, towering over all three of them, which could have been intimidating if it wasn't for the fact the guard's weapons were tanked up to thrice the usual settings required for your average humanoid., one blast would drop her in an instant.
