The High Command Meeting Chamber is located in a secret alcove deep inside the Imperial Palace, meant conceal the High Command's top secret meetings. It was one of the many places inside the Palace where the military and political hierarchy of the Galactic Empire could meet. There is a high level of security around the conference room. Four security points, each requiring a higher level of security clearance than the last, has to be passed in order to reach the room from general areas of the Palace. The room itself is constantly guarded regardless of whether it was in use or not. Two Carratosian Royal Guard remain in the room during meetings. The room itself is decorated with twin statues of Lord Ire and in the center of the room is a large round table that sits the Council of Moffs, military heads, and the Executor of the RGE. One seat is kept empty in honor of Lord Ire just in case he sits in on the meeting.

Inside the High Command Meeting Chamber, the Members of the High Command begin coming into the room and taking their seats to begin a meeting called for by the Imperial Regent Remus Kommisar on a matter that came across his desk. No one knows more than that at the moment and even then Kommisar is being quiet about all this. Kommisar enters with a datapad with a red and black stripes on the back, indicating the highest of security clearance to see its content, and takes his seat waiting for everyone to show.

Lord Zairon walked through the palace towards the command room. He had been in his room when he had gotten the summon and had quickly gotten up and headed towards the room. This would be his first meeting as Executor and he wasn't going to be late.
He passed the various checkpoints, displaying his security and allowing scans and various checks to confirm his identity. Each checkpoint was more strict than the last but eventually he had cleared each one and arrived outside the Command Room. He turned as he heard another person clearly the last checkpoint.
"Admiral Tuulk," He said with a nod, "Good to see you again."

"Greetings Executor Zarion." Tuulk replies after he sees Zarion with a smile and a bow before moving to the side and clearing Zarion's path. "After you, milord, allow me the pleasure of walking with you."
As the guards waive them on, Tuulk continues on towards the Chamber and the meeting. As he approaches the door and slides his code cylinder into the wall socket, Tuulk decides to see what the Executor knows. "Do you know what is all this about, Executor?"

As Zairon walks with Tuulk he shakes his head, "No, I'm afraid not, sir. I was in my room when I got called. All I know is that High Command is supposed to be here. As for the reason, I have no clue." He says. "I was actually hoping to ask you, but based on how you asked me I would guess you also have no idea." Zairon said as he also slid his code cylinder.

"That would be correct, looks like Remus is making a play to gain some of Ire's favor." Tuulk says as he enters the room. He sees Kommisar and bows his head in respect as he takes his seat next to Moff Sexi, a Chiss female that was once an officer on the Atrocity. Tuulk nods to her and she to him as they catch each other's eye. He settles in and waits for everyone to arrive, looking around the room with a low level of indifference as usual.

"Joy, so we all get called so that he can brag about whatever he has?" Zairon mumbles before entering the room with a smile and nodding in respect to each person present. He glances around and sees his spot and walks calmly over and sits down and waits.

Kaalyanii was a Yuuzhan Vong on the brink, flanked by two imperial officers, both bearing arms capable of taking her down, as she had expected, their impassively inert features gave little or nothing away as to how this was going to go over.
Her initial meeting with Kommisar had gone expediently well, though, and this had left her in good spirits, if ever there had been a moment to strike it would be now, while everything was still fresh in the minds of those it needed to be. Of course by strike, she had meant propose - these beings had a strange way of going about their daily affairs, the running of their empire was different, but not so much so that she could not find it's parallels in her own culture, they were more alike than either would ever have cared to admit.
Beyond the grandiose doors she stood before, sat the members of the Empire's High Command. Each of them would be discussing what Lord Kommisar had brought to them, the same offer she had presented to him mere day cycles before. Kaalyanii had remained within the grounds of the Imperial palace since then, under close scrutiny no doubt, she had found several abominable monitoring creatures in her quarters, proficient enough in her ability to know what she was looking for, she wasn't foolish enough to believe that was the last of them either. In any case, the Yuuzhan Vong female had left them where she had located them, even though the entire place offended her traditional sensibilities, she wasn't here to give them a lecture on how to correctly treat one of her species....not when her species had so cruelly treated theirs. If trust was to be earned here, then they could keep tabs on her if they so wished, she had nothing to hide.
But it was difficult not to be showing your nerves at a time like this, there was a time when she would have fought tooth and claw to destroy everything she saw around her, but after her fall from grace - a matter that was still something of a sore one with her - she had been forced into the hands of beings not too dissimilar to these, forced to work with others in order to regain a sliver of what she had once had...only during that time, she had learned much to the contrary, had learned to adapt. Yet nothing could ever take away that initial feeling of everything being so indescribably alien. Getting into that chamber and saying what she had to say would distract her for a time, and therefore she looked forward to it...she only hoped Kommisar had made it sound appealing to them.

As the final members of High Command enter the meeting chamber and take their seats, the holo projector in center of the table activates and places the holo-image of Lord Ire in the empty seat in the meeting hall. Seeing the arrival of Lord Ire in the room and the arrival of Kaalyanii under guard, Kommisar stands and addresses the High Command.
"Ladies and Gentleman of Imperial High Command; I come before you today on the precipice of new age for the Reconstructed Galactic Empire and the people it protects. The recent events in the galaxy have shown us many things, one of those things is that we must continue showing that this Empire stands for more than its predecessor, that corruption and illegal activities will be dealt with swiftly and that all we want is peace in the galaxy. Today, the Empire has a chance to prove once and for all the latter is true."
Pausing for a moment to take the pulse of the room after his opening, some seem interested while others remain indifferent to his words, Kommisar continues to present to the High Command. If there was ever a time to continue, its now. "A few days ago I was approached by someone who for all intents and purposes I would not have expected to meet. This Being showed me something that was beyond imagination and her proposal was twice beyond that. She offered the Empire a golden opportunity that will not only show the galaxy we want a sustained peace throughout the galaxy but also solidify our military presence in the galaxy with vessels far beyond anything the Republic deploys."
By now Kommisar knows he must have their attention on one of the many possibilities he's presented and continues on, knowing that the next thing he says will be shocking to hear. "I took a meeting with a woman known as Kaalyanii Hul, her reason for meeting with a member of the RGE High Command, to see peace between the Extolled Yuuzhan Vong and the Reconstructed Galactic Empire. As you all may or may not know, the Extolled were the key reason we 'infidels' were able to thwart the Yuuzhan Vong invasion a few years ago. They want a chance to show the galaxy they are not the Yuuzhan Vong that the galaxy knows, that they have truly cast off their old ways and want to be apart of this galaxy. More over, they wish to offer us something that we can only begin to fathom... new ships made with the merger of ours and their technology."
Kommisar has gone and said it, now he waits to see the responses from the members of High Command.

Zairon listens at first bored, though upon hearing the talk about an increased and chance for new ships he gets a little interested. There was always a catch. However upon hearing the 'catch'. Zairon is shocked and enraged. He quickly stands up hands on the table.
"Ridiculous!" He outburst. "We won the war, because of our might! A few traitors shouldn't be given that credit. Nor should we give these monsters access to our ships. How often have the Vong pulled tricks and traps, using our desires for peace and power against us." Zairon looks at every present then looks back at Kommisar.
"What you did was not open a golden chance, instead you made a deal with the devil, and Devils always have a way of making deals hell to accept. It's called temptation! The Vong are weak and if anything now is the time to crush them, not give them military access and supplies." Zairon said annoyed, "Instead of making deals with devils when we already have enough power, we should instead be defeating those devils."
"The Vong have shown on multiple occasions that they are not worthy of trust! They've poisoned worlds, I personally fought them on Utapau. They've crushed countless planets and killed millions. There claims for 'peace' and 'second chances' are probably more traps to give them a chance to strike closest. You wish to give them access to our technology? How long before our technology then turns against us?" Zairon asked.
He turned and looked at Admiral Tuulk. "I'm sure you'd love to have powerful spacecraft, but would you want those spacecrafts to turn against you mid-battle? Could you imagine the day these 'peaceful second chance loving monsters' turn against us and then the ships lock us out because of some secret organism they put inside the craft? We don't know enough about how their technology works to know if there is sabotage or not."
Zairon looked at the other Moffs, "Do you really wish to open up the chance for the Vong to slip in and take your power? You give these devils an inch and they will take a mile." Zairon said looking back at Kommisar.

Kommisar says nothing in response to the Executor's fear-mongering, he knew Zairon instead he decides to allow Kaalyanii Hul a chance to show them what the Extolled are offering. Pressing a button near his seat on the table, Kommisar signals the guards outside bring in their esteemed guessed. He knows this is what will ultimately make or break the proposal and he is willing to let it hinge on the Yuuzhan Vong female with no mental reservations whatsoever. "To state their intent, may I present to you Kaalyanii Hul of the Extolled who speaks on the Extolled behalf."

Shadow makes his way through the Palace and approaches the High Command chamber door. He can hear the meeting already in progress and he quietly slips into the room, staying in the shadows. He quietly listens to the leaders talking.

As the doors opened like some gaping artificial maw, Kaalyanii strode into the chamber with all the confidence afforded to her, their race was a proud one, but she had seen hardships few of her kind could attest to, it was humbling in a strange sense, and though she was outnumbered here, she couldn't help but feel that many of the faces sitting around the grand plateau were expressing disconcertion when it came to just what she was.
The two heavily armed men flanking her peeled off to either side of the door, where they remained quiescent, allowing her to step forth as Kommisar introduced her.
Executing a brief but polite bow, Kaalyanii took a moment to catch the gaze of every person sitting around that table. This was going to be difficult.
"Greetings, as Lord Kommisar has correctly introduced, I am Kaalyanii, formerly of domain Hul and I wish to present to you something of mutual benefit to our people. As you will have heard, I came to Carratos with the intention of seeking an alliance with the RGE and it's many holdings. When I say I, I speak on behalf of the Extolled, or...if you recall, the shamed." She didn't like to use that term, since it was not the extolled who were shamed, so it had turned out, the true caste had fallen from grace with good reason, it had been they who were shamed all along.
"Consider this proposal a peez offering, a sign that we wish to make ammends for the actions of our opressors. While we are aware that these atrocities cannot be undone, we understand that the need to improve relations and alliances with those of us on Sekot is tantamount to our continued existence in this galaxy. We wish to stay, we wish to intergrate." Pausing for effect, Kaalyanii cast her dark eyed gaze around the chamber once again, making mental notes as to the expressions each of the Moff's displayed, some muttering between themselves, others remaining completely impassive, but she showed no signs of discouragement. She had been expecting this.
"Intergration is what I wish to focus on here in my proposal. Many of you may have seen or heard of the seed ships grown and engineered upon Zonama Sekot? Our shapers have taken this ideal and advanced it some, while seedships take time and effort to bond with their pilots, a process that is lengthy and can take klekkets to fine tune, the results of this are less than satisfactory when it comes to vessels needing to carry multiple troops and higher ranking personnel. A seedship is a small personal fighter." She hoped they were catching on, or at least intrigued to see where this was going.
"Imagine then, if we were able to combine the existing biotechnology with one of your...what is the term? Triangle ships?" She frowned, trying to recall, or at least gain some sort of interaction from those sitting before her, when someone shouted out the answer from amid the small crowd, "...Super Star destroyers, and our miid-ro'ik cruisers, then improve on that. A vessel that perfectly intergrates all the qualities of a Yuuzhan Vong vessel, with made thing controlls that ensure your people will easily learn how to operate such a vessel."
"Our shapers have come to possess several models of your miliatry craft, mere scrap which they took to shaping and bonding our own biotechnology with - as we might have terraformed a world in the past - to produce results that have several surprising results. A vessel that is almost as undetectable as our own were in an asteroid field. We wish to share this project with your kind, if only to forge something of a better name for ourselves, further our plight to make ammends for the attrocities our people, misguided as they were, caused."
They would make of this what they would, but her words were true, and likewise if they had any questions, they should do so now. Kaalyanii was all too eager to answer them, allay any fears they might harbour. And by the looks of a few of the faces she saw, they certainly had some.

Zairon was still standing when the Vong entered the room. He glared, but didn't speak as she spoke. While he wanted to just kill the Vong he wouldn't. At the moment this person was not a threat and striking her down, regardless of what she was, would be just as much a violation of his knightly code as striking down anyone else.
He let her finish and once she was done he laughed, "Peace offering? PEACE?" Zairon said, "Correct me if I'm wrong, but I had always learned that in your tongue there is no word for peace. That peace for you means submission." Zairon looked over at everyone present, "So, do we wish to be submissive to these 'Extolled' Vong. These 'peace-loving' Vong?" He asked.
"How many of you wish to submit to them? But hey, don't worry. We can trust them because of their word. The same word that made a deal to keep Ithor safe if they lost a duel. How did that turn out again?" Zairon asked. "Let's ask the Ithorians what the word of the Vong means."
Zairon looked at Kommisar, "As Regent is your job to make openings for outside threats to infiltrate and get access to our military secrets? Because I'm pretty sure your job isn't to risk the Empire's well-being and safety."

Shadow silently makes his way around the chamber, keeping to the shadows and listening in to Kommisar, Zairon and the guest. He listens intently wondering how this is going to turn out. He comes to a stop behind and in the shadows of the holographic image of the Emperor.
