RGE Imperial Senate

Inside the Rotunda that sits 25 kilometers away from the Imperial Palace, lays the setting of the RGE Imperial Senate. Connected to the Palace by a series of underground tunnels, the Senate Rotunda on Carratos is the place where all the elected and appointed senators and representatives from the farthest reaches of the galaxy can discuss major problems and come to decisions. The Senate is led by the Imperial Regent Remus Kommisar, appointed and affirmed by Lord Ire, inside the massive Convocation Chamber. As the largest room in the Senate Building, over 100 meters tall, it consists of 1,000 pods for Senators from all over the galaxy.

The entrance to the Chamber is the Atrium of the Senate, which is surrounded by the Grand Concourse. When choosing a color scheme for the walls, ancient designers chose lavender—as it was the only shade that had not been historically associated with mourning, anger, or war in the entire Galaxy.

In the center of the grand room sits a thirty-meter-tall podium that rises up from ground level for the Senate sessions. On this podium, the Imperial Regent and the two Vice Chairs stand on the upper level, and the Senate scribe, journal clerk, parliamentarian, and Sergeant at Arms are seated on the lower level. While the Regent and Senators may debate the ongoing issues within the galaxy, the Power of Executive Order 667 keeps all decisions made from Senate debate solely in the digression of the Head of Imperial state, Executor Ire MCD.
