Welcome to the World of Star Wars,
This site was originally designed and implemented to support the displaced RPers of the Yahoo World of Star Wars site. We are dedicated to a drama free, non-Star Wars storyline free, and emo sparkly vampire/werewolf free enjoyable gaming experience. We welcome you to our close nit community of friends from around the real world and hope that you to become our friends.
For those of you who miss doing a bit of open style RP with limited Game Mastering and the option to run personal story lines, we have set up a site to hone your skills. Here we not only focus on fun but telling an exciting story from all those involved.
There are of course admins and moderators to not only keep things in check but also help you with any questions or problems you might have. We try to take care of all matters promptly and with a fair hand in all matters. Please contact anyone of the staff if any issues/questions you have occur, we promise not to bite... hard. The Site Staff consists of:
Senior Administrators:
Darth Paymon/Johnathan Kenobi (Phil)
Assitant Administrators:
Pappy-Wan Kenobi (Chris)
Moderators:
Gert Yonsz-Kenobi -Senior Storylines Mod- (Niki)
Grand Master Luke Skywalker -Asst. Storylines Mod- (Tim)
Poor sportsmanship and misconduct are not allowed in order to ensure a fun friendly environment for everyone from Noob to Jedi Master. A few things you'll want to do after you register with us:
Please read and sign the site Rules of Conduct.
Fill out a Character Sheet and post it here.
Read over the Fleet Rules to know the basics that govern the building and usage of fleets. It is also suggested that you visit the area that deals with Ground Forces and read those rules as well.
Check out the site's Alternate Timeline; most of the events in the timeline don't differentiate much until 30 ABY where the site officially enters its alternate reality. You can also submit information for your character to be placed in the timeline here.
Take a look at a list of potentially useful links to various information that may be of help to you.
Read the C-Box Rules and remember them.
For Force-sensitive Characters, you'll want to look at the Force Ability List.
The Dueling Code of Conduct is for use during all duels, IC or OOC. We suggest that you learn them and follow them.
MCD's Orphanage for Wayward Noobs is our makeshift FAQ area that give "lessons" on various topics that are talked about often. The Admins and Mods are the teachers there and will answer any questions about the topics posted there.
We here at WoSWBeta want you to enjoy yourself and your gaming experience while you're here, just as we want to enjoy ourselves, and we hope that you contribute to our RP community.
Thank you, and once again, Welcome to WoSW,
Site Staff
