"This is Ford Solo. We are now able to report that a coup attempt on Naboo has been thwarted. Apparently a clandestine organization known as Black Sun tried to seize control of the Throne Room and Royal Palace in Theed. Luckily the RGE and the Jedi were around to squash this power grab by a less than savory band of outlaws. We will be back after these messages."

That's right, Clones are an intricate part of the RGE, they are the back bone of our fighting force. If you're a clone and want to be something more than a hired gun for some Hutt, than walk into the local recruitment center and sign on the datapad. Enlisting clones receive a 20,000 credit signing bonus six months into service and an additional 5,000 credits every six months after that. Who could pass that up?

"Thanks Ollie... and now, in a continuation of the previous report, GHN has just learned that Executor Ire has just announced to the Senate a change is structure of the galactic government. Apparently through Executive order 1138.66, Executor Ire has named himself Emperor of the RGE and handed over the title of Executor to Lord Zairon, the Imperial Knight who discovered the dastardly plot by an impostor to control the government. This announcement came as a shock to the Senate when it was read off in the morning notes. We shall keep you informed of any new details..."

This just in! An image from an undisclosed traveler on Kuat has been passed to GNN. From this image we are not able to ascertain what ships are engaged, or what the status is. There has still been no official announcements to what is transpiring. Stay tuned for more details.  |

This just in, an undentified flying aircraft, not responding to any hails, was blown out of the skies of Carratos early this morning. Upon further review, this craft turned out to be a primitive sled contraption pulled by a team of horned mammalian creatures and propelled by a currently unidentified means. The driver was an elderly male human with long white hair and a beard; he also appeared to be dressed in a red suit of some kind with a large bag of toys sitting in the back of his sled. The man's identity as of yet has not been able to be matched in any galactic database but the man's appearance seems to coincide with a collection various galactic legends. We will keep you informed...

In the Entertainment section of the daily news- While we have still not ascertained who created the frenzied activity at The Grand Coursca Hotel, we have determined the the individuals in question are representatives of an off-world conglomerate. Details are still sketchy at this point, but while the GBC carefully guards it secrets, inside sources have determined that the following image is indeed factual and my be the largest uncut gem quality coursca gems ever recovered.  Exact specifics have not been determined but it was confirmed by undisclosed sources in the GBC that the stone is larger than the Star of the Empress. Speculation has it that the unnamed consortium rented the entire penthouse levels of the famed hotel. At present there is much speculation over who these people may be, though it has been confirmed that the rumor that the individual in question was Darth Ire of the RGE has soundly been dismissed. |
