"It should not be for very long, definitely a day trip or less."
He pauses in the hall to the cockpit. And opens one of the storage lockers next to the berth-tubes.
"This locker is empty, feel free to use it, or choose one of the berths to put your things in. I know they are not like the staterooms you are probably used to on ships, but they work, and are pretty comfortable if you are not claustrophobic. "

I like to be prepared. And you can never tell. These things have a way of snowballing.
Thanks. This is fine. *laughs* As long as I have a bed I'm fine. Staterooms are nice but I'm not picky. I have had worse accommodations believe me and the company wasn't as nice. She puts her stuff in the locker and looks in the berth tube to check out the bed.
Okay now that I'm settled what's next?

Takeda dusts off his hands and gestures to the cockpit.
"That pretty much covers everything except getting this thing into orbit. The big chair on the right is yours again if you choose." he says with a smile.
he turns to the droid as he takes his seat.
"Everything checked out?"
"Zzzzzzzt, Zzt Zzzzzt"
"Since when have I ever horsed it on take-off? You are the one with the heavy hand on the throttles."
"Zzzzzttttphhhhhbbbbbttt!"
"Be nice trash-can, we have company... you should know better."
Takeda looks at Cait and Hana apologetically.
"Eh... Droids..."
Takeda flips the usual switches and the engines come on line with a growing growl. It is apparent that what is in the big cowlings of the nacelles share some sort of lineage with the engines of a B-wing.
Snapping on the com;
"Control, this is Banju-12 requesting clearance to leave hangar and proceed to the launch line."
"Banju-12 this is Control, your flight-plan is cleared, your green light at your mark."
Takeda looks over to Cait,
"Are you still up for this?" after a second his face becomes a big smile.

Cait follows Takeda into the cockpit and sits down in the chair he indicated and straps herself in. It works for me.
Cait listens in amusement to the conversation between Takeda and his droid. She laughs. No problem Takeda. At least he isn't a protocol droid. Astromech droids are a law onto themselves. I like them they make laugh.
Yep, let's get this show on the road.

With a nod, Takeda starts the ship out of the hangar. As they leave the temple he guides the ship across to the launch area.
The ship glides to a halt, and with a double check of his sensors, he brings up the throttle on the main thrusters. Increasing the power to the repulsors the ship makes a smooth climb in altitude. As they clear the atmosphere their speed increases and he cuts the repulsors to a null output.
"Dweezel, give me one last diagnostic on those repulsors, it is critical they are operating at full when we get to Yavin. I do not want to find out when I am in the gravity well of that monster that something shook loose on take-off."
He turns to Cait and Hana
"I know this beast has it in it to pull this off, I have done it before but it still makes me nervous. I got scans from Control this morning, the gravitational pressures are within what this ship can handle, but there is not a lot of margin for error. It is a good thing my people overbuild everything. Oh, and the last time put in the duraton bracing and upgraded the shields. But all the same I will be much happier when I have a ship with a much higher rating for this."

Nick walks into the Massassi Temple and walks through the main lobby and boards the turbolift. He rides the lift up to the Temple's command center and then exits the lift. He heads into the Command center's main chamber and approaches the galaxy map holo projector table. He activates it and a holographic image of the known galaxy appears. He sits down in a hover chair and quietly studies the galaxy map and patiently waits for his new ship to arrive.

Nick sighs and looks at his watch. He decides to go and get Kaden. He stands up and shuts off the holoprojector. He makes his way out of the chamber and boards the lift. He rides down to main level and exits the Massassi Temple and heads back to the Infirmary.

Nick quietly enters the Massassi Temple and boards the turbolift. He rides it up to the military command floor and then exits the lift. He walks down the hallway and into the command center chamber. He walks over to the holo table and pulls up the galactic map. He selects Yavin IV and a holo of the planet appears. He inputs several commands and a faint blue shimmering appears around the holo of the planet. "Hmm, seems like the shield is in working order. Looks good to me."
He stands there and quietly looks at the image of the planet and then raises an eyebrow when he sees the image of a large SSD appear above the planet. "What in the Force?" He then patches through to the Orbital control and listens in to the personnel in security.

Nick looks up as he hears Cait's voice coming from the comm unit.
"Hey Nick I thought I give you an update. We just left Coruscant and are now on our way to Obra-skai. We might go to Kuat next if they are allowing flights in by then. I want to check on something. I'm sure you are aware by now of our visitor in orbit. It was a Grey Order ship looking for Corey. It seems that he is missing.
If you hear anything in regards to Corey or his ship Selena's whereabouts would you please contact Vice Admiral Thorne of the Grays on his ship the God's Hand. Tania has his information.
So how are things going there?"
Nick shakes his head. "Wow, you guys sure do like jumping all over the galaxy do you? Obroa-Skai? Be careful when you both go there. I'm not sure if there are Imperials there or not."
He crosses his arms thinking. "Isn't that conflict at Kuat still going on or did that come to a conclusion yet? If you both do go there, be careful."
He looks out the window and up towards the sky imagining the SSD in Orbit. "Yeah, I wondered what that was." He looks at the console and sees that the SSD is no longer in Orbit. "Well, it would appear that they've left already."
He sighs quietly. "Corey's missing? That's not good. If I hear anything, I'll let someone know immediately."
He grins slightly. "Yeah, everything is going okay here so far. No problem from anything."

*Cait laughs* Only since I met Takeda. We were going to go to Kuat when we heard about the excitement there. Takeda wanted to do some research about his ancestors that's why we came to Obra-skai.
Don't worry I've been here before. They know me so it shouldn't be a problem. Imperials or not.
I haven't heard anything more from Kuat but then we have been in hyperspace since we left Coruscant. Of course I will be careful. Something just doesn't feel right about what is going on there. I don't think they told Thorne the truth about not seeing Corey. But don't worry I will be discrete in asking questions. It shouldn't be hard to pick up gossip about what is going on. Especially if Corey was there. You know him he is not exactly Mr Subtle.
Thanks Nick I know the Grays will appreciate the help.
Oh, that reminds me I did some shopping while I was on Courscant. You should be getting some deliveries of medical herbs and fruits soon. I also bought some seeds and seedlings so we can start growing some of them on our own.
I also talked to one of the gem merchants and have arranged with Tiff'ani's on Courscant to sell any Coursca gems that we find and want to sell will go to them.
Cait hesitates not sure she should tell Nick or not then says. Oh, one more thing something strange happened while we were on Courscant. Or at least I think it was odd.
She then proceeds to tell him about the encounter in the Starjammers bar with Shadow and ends with saying.
So Takeda paid a Zeltron dancer to give him a lap-dance to distract him while we left so he wouldn't follow us. Then we left.

He nods his head listening quietly to Cait. "I see. Well, I hope Takeda finds what he's looking for then. Just be careful is all I ask."
He raises an eyebrow and grins slightly. "Medical herbs and fruits to be delivered here? Okay, I'll keep an eye out for them then. You bought seeds and seedlings? Ooh, Gert will like that. I remember her garden back at the Camp that she had. Good idea."

You know as well as I do Nick half the fun is in the looking. Cait says with a smile. I'm sure he will find something though maybe not what he expects.
Who me? I'm always careful you know that.
*gives Nick a wide-eyed innocent look then smiles*
Don't worry Nick, between Phedra and Takeda I won't have a chance to get in to trouble, at least not much trouble.
Yes, they should be arriving shortly. *laughs* Gert is not the only one. I would like to start a garden myself that reminds me I need to find a spot to build a place so I can have a garden attached to it.
*sighs* In my copious spare time.

Cait look thoughtful at his question. No, I don't think so. Whoever he was I think he was trying to find out who we were and what we were doing. Takeda caused a nice diversion so don't think he had a chance to follow us. Quick thinking on Takeda's part.
*She then describes in great detail to Nick exactly what the man looked like a description that would have surprised Shadow on how accurate it was.*
Does he sound at all familiar to you Nick? Because I would like to know why he was so interested in us and me in particular.

He smiles and nods his head. "Yeah, that's the truth Cousin. Well, I hope everything works out for Takeda in the long run of it."
He grins and shakes his head. "Yes Cait, I know that, but something always seems to happen one way or the other. Always do with us Jedi."
He chuckles then. "Phedra's there too? That's good. I haven't seen or heard from her in months. Hope she's doing okay."
He sighs and shakes his head. "Cait, even after all the months we've been on Yavin IV, you still haven't had a place of your own built yet?" He pauses and then grins. "Then again, you're always on the move, traveling the galaxy anyway. You don't really stay in one place for very long at all."
His face turns more serious and he crosses his arms when she mentions Shadow. "Did he know who you all were? I hope you all checked your ships over before you left Coruscant to make sure there wasn't any foreign device on it."
He sighs and sits down in the hover chair. "Great, wonder what Shadow's up to then. If he is working for the RGE, this is going to get interesting...interesting indeed."
