"I know Caitlin, it scares me too, and I know I shouldn't have said anything, but I was just scared. Is there anything that you can do to help us?" said Scylla, with fear in her words.

Hmmm I 'm not sure. The only thing I can think of is you let it somehow drop that you are using me to find out information on the Jedi. Make them believe you fooled me and are using me?

That reminds me I need to shut this off now before security is alerted and try to trace it. I will have to register the line with them I will tell them you are a special contact so not attract attention.

Try not to worry okay? We will put our heads together and think of something.

Cait then turns off the comm.

Cait falling asleep after her conversation with Glow finally awakens. She gets up and gets dressed in her normal Jedi robes. She slips Glow's comm in her pocket. She walks off her ship to Security and registers the comm line with them as one belonging to her.

She then walks over to the infirmary to check on how Grainne is doing after her fight with Markon.

Through the comm, Scylla tries to raise Cait.

"Caitlin, are you there? We need to talk. It's about Markon..."

Her voice sounds a bit sad over the comm.

Cait at her desk in her bedroom doing some research, trying to figure out where maybe Tristan could be hidden when her comm beeps.

Yes, I'm here Scylla. I'm sorry I cut you off earlier but we shouldn't have that problem now. Security will ignore this comm-line now that it is registered as mine. What's wrong? Why? What is Markon doing that has you concerned?

[scylla]

"Caitlin, Markon has awakened, and I could feel his anger, and his bloodlust. He wanted to know what the Jedi were up to, and I told him that you guys were not doing much. Then he asked about the holocron. I had already tried to activate it, when it was a dud, but he will be asking about it again soon. I can't keep lying to him, but I also don't want him to be even more upset at the Jedi. He is already pretty upset about the setup, so right now I don't know what to do..." She said, as she tries to hide the fear in her voice.

*Cait sighs* I was afraid of that. It's getting worse isn't it? Did he say why he wanted to know?

The holocron? Hmmm I'm not sure what they did with that but I don't think it is a real Sith holocron. Where they got it from I don't know. Could it have been damaged?

I'm sure he was considering the damage he did to Grainne even without being able to use the Force.
I hate to add to your worry but you should know, Grainne's husband, Jango Fett was just named the leader of the Mandalores.

We need to think of something to distract him from the Jedi and the holocron at the moment.
You said when you tried to find Tristan you only could sense darkness. Is that right? Maybe we can find out something from what you sensed to give us a clue on where to look.

[scylla]

"Caitlin, it is getting worse. He feels that the Jedi have wronged him again. In his mind, the entire galaxy is his enemy, because our son is gone. For anyone that stands in his way, he will take them down, without remorse. I feel something bad is gonna happen soon... He is gonna want revenge, and I cannot stop him..."

She then sighs "I wish I could give you more about Tristan, but all I keep getting are blanks... Whoever, or whatever has him, is keeping a hold onto him, and are not letting me see him. I am trying not to think about it, but what if the worse has happened? What if my son is... Wait, I would feel that... I am really scared..."

"Do you think Luke could help? I know that Markon would kill me if I were to talk with Luke. But, he is a powerful Jedi, who always seems to get answers when there are none. I don't know what I should do, but I may need the help of the Jedi. I can continue to stay out for as long as I can. but eventually, I will have to tell Markon the truth... Do you think I could set up a meeting with Luke? Just you and him, and I?"

[Caitlin Windancer]

*Cait sighs and rubs her forehead in distress.* I know I have heard it from him before when he was a Sith. The way he has been going that might unfortunately become true. We need to stop it before it gets to that point. Yes, I feel that too. We are running out of time.


What about the darkness itself? How does it feel other than dark? Every darksider has a different feel to their darkness as well do the places of darkness. I know you are scared but you can't give into it. It won't help if you let it paralyze you or miss something that you would notice if you are calm.

Yes, I know he would. Yes I could do that. Where do you want to meet? It would have to be somewhere neutral. Hmmm, I could tell him that someone needs to talk to him privately about Tristan. And that only the three of us can be there because you are afraid of repercussions if it was known you were meeting with the Jedi. Would that suffice?

Now where do you think it should be? Dantooine?...no SK might go there. Hoth, no...too cold... Dagobah perhaps?

Scylla thinks for a moment.

"The darkness around him is one of hate and death. I have never felt him like this before. He has hate behind his eyes. I can feel it enveloping him... He is still the same man that I fell in love with, but he has a personal vendetta against everyone, and everything, I don't want to lose him..."

"The only thing that I can feel and get from Tristan, is that he is scared. It may be because he is young and misses his parents, but I hope nothing has happened to him... I wish I could tell you more, but I won't now until I can meditate some more..."

"Dagobah sounds like a good place to meet. It is neutral, and it is flowing with the force. Luke, I know will be comfortable there, since of course that is where he was trained in the ways of the Jedi, as it was told in the archives. How long do you think you could set up a meeting with him?"

One of hate and death....hmmm. Yes I have been feeling that too from him. This very bad it won't take much to tip him completely over to the darkside. His love for you and Tristan are the only things that have been holding that at bay. If anything would to happen to either of you I think he would completely lose himself to the darkness. I can understand that and your concern it is a very real one.

That is understandable. And that could be why or the ones who took are scaring him by the darkness he senses from them. Children are naturally of the light and they shrink from being near those full of darkness. That is a start. When you do try to get a sense of the darkness. Is it cold? Or full of fear or hate or despair or Death. That can tell us a lot. I will meditate on it too. I was doing that when you called.

Dagobah it is then. It also has the cave of darkside energy that should mask us. It shouldn't take too long to set it up if I know Luke he will want to do this as soon as possible. Do you want to contact me tomorrow night? Then I can let you know the exact time. I will leave an encrypted message for Luke as soon as we finish talking.

Is there anything else you want to talk about or have me pass along to Luke?

"I fear that we may lose him before then. He wants vengeance, and I don't know what to do. Unless we can get Tristan back, then there may be no way of stopping him, and I could not kill him... Nor would I want anyone else to do that either. He is my life, and I can't lose him..."

"When I feel for Tristan, I do feel, not cold, but heat. Like he is in a warm area, and that could be anywhere in the galaxy. He is scared, and sad, but he also does not understand what might be going on. The mother in me, wants to just take him away from all of this madness once and for all..."

"I will contact you tomorrow and see if we can get the meeting started as soon as possible. I hope that he can help. I don't care how long the meeting will be, but I just want my son back, I want my family back..."

The pilot is heard in the background.

"My lady, we are almost to the destination." the pilot said.

Scylla then nods.

"Caitlin, I have to go... I will contact you tomorrow for sure. Please, just try and keep it to just you and I and Luke. This is very sensitive material, and I can't have Markon know. I know that I can trust you Caitlin. Thank you for all your help. May the force be with you..."

The comm then goes dead.

I know I'm sorry I sense that as well from him. *sighs* He is letting the hate consume him and he can't see anything else. *Cait's voice is sad.* I know you are right we must get Tristan back and quickly. I feel the sense of urgency. I wouldn't want you to be burdened with that either. I understand that...I don't want you to lose him either.

You do? Heat...? Hmmm.... I wonder...not necessarily. It would have to be somewhere that has the darkside and those are limited thank goodness. When you meditate this time concentrate on discovering what type of heat. I think that might be the clue we are looking for. I will look up planets that are hot. That is other than Tatooine. You would have known if he was there. The way the Hutts keep an eye on things in the underworld nothing of that nature would get by them. And with the mercenaries around someone would had let slip by now if they were there. Try to send your love and reassurance to Tristan when you sense his contact. Of course it is and that is how it should be. We will work to make that so.

I will and I will tell Luke like it should have been done like yesterday urgency. I know we will work to make that happen.

*Cait mutters half under her breath* Damn them for putting you all through this.

I will Scylla. And I promise to bring Luke and only Luke alone. I know. I won't do anything to jeopardize Tristan. Luke won't either he has a young son too and will know how are you feeling. I will do all I can to honor that trust. You're welcome and I hope you will be reunited as a family soon. May the Force be with you as well...

The contact ends.

Cait sighs then sends the following encrypted message to Luke's office.

Luke, I have talked to the person and got permission to tell you the following. I have seen and talked with Markon's wife, Glow.

She sought me out and contacted me when I was on Tatooine. She says all they wanted was to be a family and be left alone. But they were attacked by ones she calls the Sith masters. Markon fought them but there were too many of them. And they abducted hers and Markon's child, Tristan. They are now holding Tristan hostage and are using him as leverage to get Markon do their bidding. One of things which is to destroy all the Jedi. No big surprise on that one, right?

We have talked a couple of times since then and now she was wants to meet with just you and me. And only the three of us can be there because she is afraid of repercussions if it was known she was meeting with the Jedi. Most in particular she doesn't want Markon to know because he would be very angry. She says he hates the Jedi and wants only vengeance.

She needs our help finding the child. And Markon she fears that she is losing him to the darkside and all he wants now is vengeance but I will let her explain more fully when we meet.

We set up Dagobah as meeting place and she wants to know when we can meet. She going to contact me tomorrow night for the day and time. She asks that it be soon as possible. And I add my request for urgency and secrecy in this matter Luke. I sense that Tristan is running out of time. That if we don't find him soon he will die.

And one other thing...I haven't told Glow or anyone else this but you should know. This child must live I sense that he is one that sometime in the future that the balance of the galaxy will be hinged upon. If he is not there the galaxy will fall into darkness. I have seen it.

She is putting her trust in me Luke that we will not set a trap for Markon using her as bait. I want you to promise that won't happen. Or we can't meet. I think this our best chance of stopping Markon and convincing him we are not his enemies.

Cait then goes back to her research with an even more sense of urgency. Now crossing referencing planets that are hot.

A voice through the comm is heard.

"Caitlin, Caitlin it's Scylla. If you are there, please pick up..."

Cait hearing the comm beeping picks it up and answers it.

Yes, Scylla I'm here. Do you want me to tell you about what I found out from Luke about a meeting first or did you have another question?
