Main Boulevard in Theed

[Luke Skywalker]

The Main Boulevard was a wide access running the length of the city. It ended at the Palace grounds, in a large square. Various shops and vendors lined the street.

Luke stopped at many of the vendors, and tried to strike up a conversation, but they shut down when he started talking about a change in atmosphere. No one seemed to want to talk to him, an outsider. He decided to try something different.

Luke continues to make his way down the Main Boulevard. He disguised his appearance through the Force as one of the locals. He stops at one of the vendors, "Hi, I'll have one of the sweet meats."

"Sure thing," replied the vendor. He gave Luke a piece of meat on a stick, covered by a breading.


Luke paid for it. "Say, things seem different around here. What's up with that?"


The vendor shook his head, "Is it that noticeable?" Then he whispered, "Somebody is trying to get in on the Hutt's action around here. Must be big to think about tackling that."

Luke took another bite and began to chew. "Any idea who it is?"

Again the man whispered, "Rumor has it that an organization out of Coruscant is behind it all."

Luke nods, "Thanks for the information." Luke heads towards the Market Place to see if Mara has had any better luck."
