Well, despite our, the staff's, best efforts, the site is dying, if not dead already. All but one duel made it through the first round of the tourny. People still seem to be having issues with the staff, and the way the site is currently being conducted, despite our efforts to help and please everyone to the best of our ability.

So.. here's the proposition. Administration puts the site into maintenance mode, cleans it up a bit, removes all but basic code of conduct, remove the staff save for a few admin for major site or member issues, and then let you all at it. Let it be almost exactly like it was back on the old Yahoo! site. You make your threads, the ones you want, and play in them how you want, as long as it doesn't violate Proboards TOS, which will be posted for all to see. Simply, let you all go back to RPing and making things run as you are used to.

Why not just give over control to Bubba, the site should have been left in charge with those people that stuck it out with the old Wosw. The problem was other people that left, people that made fun of those Rpers that stayed behind tried to take control, they all know who they are. Yes, they did it will the best intentions, but the fact remains that Wosw members stuck together and worked together to make things happen(They even had there ups and downs with people like the GG interferring endlessly). Fun story lines for anyone to join in. We all got along, did our own thing and still had fun.

Now there is nothing wrong with new blood joining, it was actually good to have them all. Meet new poeple and old ones. Though the point of this site I think was for those that already and still were active members of the old wosw site to take up where they left off. They are the leaders, the RPers and the ones that should be in control.

Wow, I wasn't expecting to read this when I woke up. I won't shoot down the appointment if you think I'm good for it. As for pulling all the Mods and what not and going back to 'anarchy' is not something I'd agree to in the slightest.

I think that people feel left out in decision making and some mods felt they weren't respected by players. Structure is good for a site but not iron-fisted dictatorship.

Wiping out existing storylines is a stupid notion and will never happen under my administration. Great, I'm not even an Admin and I'm making campaign promises. *smiles like Sidious*

LOL well, as long as I'm around, the storylines will remain untouched. We've gone through too much trouble for them to be tampered with. Besides, these are good story plots anyway.

No, no storyline are to be touched... those are yours, and it's not our place to tell you to start them over or stop them, unless they were just completely inappropriate, which they aren't, so that isn't an issue.

As for turning the site over to Bubba, unless Phil tells me to do so, no offense to Bubba, but it's not going to happen.

Yes, I agree that the members should stick together, and once I was "left in charge", I, as well as the staff, worked hard to stop the changes that the people of the site seemed to not want. We listened to you, or at least to those that would talk to us, and this truly is YOUR site. The site is as people were enjoying it, except people left before they could see it, and those that were left, save for a few, have done nothing be either remain silent about topics and issues, or bashed us for things that didn't even happen.

People asked for structure, people got structure. Yes, I understand previous staff took that a little too far, but that was stopped. People got upset for "losing their position" in the staff because they weren't around to do their job. They got mad and left, and though I'm sorry they were upset, and even though I nor the current staff had anything to do with that decision, I see it as a fair one. If you aren't going to be here to fulfill your duties as a mod when the site continues, then it's only fair that those people be replaced until time comes when they can devote more time to the site.

I know there is no pleasing everyone, no matter how hard one tries. People asked for structure, they have it, and it isn't "iron-fisted". The more strict structure was stopped, and the staff in place is here to HELP you all, not tell you what to do. I don't know how many times we can reiterate that. Yes, there are story line mods, to help you, not tell you how and when to RP. Yes, we have admin, to make sure that everyone follows the rules they agreed to, plus help if someone doesn't understand, or needs help.

NO ONE has tried to stop the original WoSW from continuing here, accept the people of the site that have left and tried to pin blame elsewhere. Yes, I was apart of the original WoSW since the site began, I know how it went, and I heard all the praise and complaints. While keeping the good, and trying to fix what everyone complained about, it seems that the "changes" were wanted, but once in place, apparently unwanted. Was this the staff's fault? No, it wasn't. This is YOUR site, we listen to YOU and give YOU what YOU want. You don't like it after we do what you want, that isn't our fault, and the staff shouldn't and won't take the blame for it.

But anyways, I'm going to stop there before I really begin to rant. This IS your site, the staff is only here to help keep order and help YOU all. Nothing more. We've done what you wanted, but apparently it still isn't good enough. So I'm out of suggestions.
