Luke walked into the practice arena and stood in it's center. Through the Force, he activated four remotes and 2 YVH-1 droids. They fanned out in a circle around him. He activated his practice saber and got into a defensive stance. The countdown started toward the practice session. 5. 4. 3. 2. 1.
One of the droids came at him from the left, the other from the right. The remotes began to fire stun bolts at random intervals. Luke blocked two of the bolts, then using Force Speed, he somersaulted forward between the droids so that he was behind them. Before they could adjust, he used Force push to move them further away from him.
By this time the remotes had adjusted and were firing upon him. Opening himself up to the Force completely, he began to block the bolts one by one. They doubled they're firing rate and began to synchronize their firing pattern into a more effective grid. Luke rolled to the right to avoid the heaviest of firing.
At this point, the droids had balanced themselves and turned around. They added their firepower to the remotes. Luke drew heavily upon the Force, deflecting the bolts that would hit him. He allowed the ones that would miss him to pass harmlessly by. This continued for nearly an hour. During this time, Luke used the Force to deflect bolts back into the droids and the remotes. He even managed to turn one of the droids to the right so that it was firing upon the other droid. The droid corrected its orientation and began firing on Luke instead. Some of the bolts made it through his defense, and stung when they connected.
Drenched with sweat, Luke opened himself to the Force completely. It began to guide his actions at speeds faster than the eye could follow. He began to glow radiantly as he used some bolts to block other bolts. The remotes and droids doubled their firing pattern yet again. Luke now decided to go on the offensive. Holding the training saber in his right hand, he continued to block bolts with it, while with his left hand he began to reach out with the Force and search for a particular spot on each of the remotes. One by one, he would "see" the remote, then in his vision break it down into components. He continued to block blasts through the Force. Once he had each of the parts in his mind, he tripped the power switch. He shut each of the remotes down in this manner. Once the remotes were shut off, he shut the droids down. He returned them to their proper places and put the training saber away. Luke then headed for the sanisteam to clean up, then made his way out into the Temple.
