Nick chuckles. "Oh don't worry. I'll make sure he won't take it apart. If he does, then he'll have to pay me for it." He says grinning to show he's joking.
Kaden raises an eyebrow and grins. "Fairy tale prince? Hmm, that should be interesting. Can't wait to meet him then." She tilts her head to the side. "I vaguely remember hearing abou Aine. This should be an interesting reunion."
Nick then smirks and nods his head. "Yeah, it would seem so huh." When she mentions the special thing about the sword he raises an eyebrow, a curious look crossing his face. "The sword protects? That's a first."

Cait grins.
Personally I would have someone guard him when he does examine it to make sure he doesn't. Or have him make you a new one if he does.
Yep. I tell him he must have the model for Prince Charming. All girls follow him around sighing and swooning if he so much as just looks at them that is except Aine. *chuckles* She is the only one I know of other than mother who can make him behave.
*chuckles again* She can say things to him that no one else would be able to get away with. They are very cute together. Yes, it should.
I think so. Like I say said I'm not sure if I'm reading the runes right. I think that is what is says.
She frowns and looks puzzled. Yeah. There is something I heard ... some story about a sword and protection... that it couldn't be used against its master... I wish I could remember.

He chuckles and then looks at Kaden and then back at Cate with a slight grin. "Hmm, I wonder if he would make a complete replica of the sword and shield so that Kaden could have the same ones. You think he'd be able to do that?"
Kaden smiles softly and hugs Nick and nods her head "That's a lovely idea Nick. That would be perfect. Cate, is there anyway he could come out here to take a look at them?"
Nick then raises an eyebrow. "An old story about the sword and protection. Hmm, I remember you mentioning that a while back, but can't remember for the life of me what it was about either."

I don't know Nick you would have to ask him that. I don't see why not but I'm not a Smith. It's a nice idea though.
I could contact him but it depends on how busy he is. Though for something like that he just might make time.
Yes, I can almost remember too. It just won't come that is most annoying.
You want me to comm Colin then to see if he is free to come?

He nods his head hearing Cait. "Hmm, I'll do that. I think its time I get a new herald for the shield. A new generation of Couslands has arrived anyways." He then pauses. "Which reminds me, I need to send for James and Jael at Bakura. You think Colin could swing by and get them for us if we ask him?"
"Yeah, go ahead and contact him if you could. Its been forever since I've seen him. Plus, I really want to know about this sword and shield. Also, he might know the story behind it all." He glances at Kaden and smiles softly seeing her excitement at seeing her children again after many years.

Cait gets out her portable holo-receiver and opens the secure and private channel to her brother.
Colin? You there little brother.
He answers right away. His holo-image appears. He is smiling at his sister.
Hey Cait, about time you woke up. What's up?
A couple of things Nick has a favor to ask. He has a sword and shield he wants you to look at. A Sidhe weapon and shield. There are runes on them that I can't read and thought you might be able to interpret them.
Also could you pick up James and Jael on Bakura and bring them with you?
Colin's expression becomes very interested.
Oh? Yeah? That sounds interesting. Sure I'll come.
No problem, I can pick them up on the way there.

Nick nods his head and watches as Cait pulls out her commlink and contacts Colin. He chuckles quietly hearing her brother and glances at Kaden to see her trying her hardest to restrain her excitement of seeing her children once more. He smiles when he signs off and begins the journey to Yavin.
He looks at Cait and shakes his head. "Nope, nothing more that I can think of right now." He looks at Kaden. "Good thing I got their rooms set up already for them. They're going to love it." Kaden smiles softly and nods her head. "Yes, they sure will. Oh Nick, I can't wait to see them finally."

He should be here shortly. From the look on his face I would say he will put the engines in overdrive to get here as fast as he can. I really piqued his curosity.
A little while later Cait's comm-link beeps.
Yes? What is it?
Master Windancer, this Orbital control. We have someone saying they your brother asking for permission to land. Shall we let him through?
Yes, at once I have been expecting him. Allow him to land at the main land pad at the Massassi Temple hanger.
Yes, ma'am right away. Orbital control out.
To Kaden and Nick as she gets to her feet.
Do you want to go meet them or wait for them here? Because I'm going.

Nick smiles softly and nods his head. "Sure, we'll go with you Cait." He glances at Kaden and grins. "Kaden wouldn't have it any other way." She grins as well and nods her head. "You better believe it Nick. I've waited three long years to see my children."
Nick then buckled the sword across his back and then strapped the shield over it. Looking at both Cait and Kaden, he holds the front door open. "Well ladies, shall we go?"

Nick walks into the house after a long meditating session after the council meeting and heads upstairs. He walks into the bedroom and gets ready for bed. Once he's changed, he climbs into the bed and falls asleep in a matter of minutes.
Not long afterwards, Kaden walks through the door carrying James and with Jael beside her. They head upstairs and Kaden carries James into his bedroom and lays him down in his bed, tucking him in. She then walks into Jael's room and tucks her in as well. After the kids are asleep, she walks into her bedroom and sees Nick already asleep. She quickly changes into her nightclothes and then climbs into the bed beside Nick. She quickly falls asleep.

A holographic image of a man in black robes appears on the communit in the bedroom. It is of Camulus and he grins darkly. "Greetings Owabi, or should I say Cousland now? You and I have an old debt to settle. Meet me at the old Enclave on Dantooine and we'll settle this once and for all. Come if you dare. If not, then I know that I am the better of the two. See you then Jedi." The image then fades out.

Nick stirs out of his long sleep feeling a dark sense of dread. Shaking his head, he wipes the sleep from his eyes and sits up in the bed. Looking down, he sees Kaden sleeping peacefully beside him. Smiling softly he then looks up to see the communit blinking indicating a new message has been received. Curious, he climbs out of the bed and slips into his robe. Tying the sash about his waist, he walks over to the unit and activates it.
His smile fades into a look of dread and resentment as he listens to the message. "Damn. I thought he had given up on this. Looks like I have no choice now." He glances back at the sleeping form of his wife and then looks back at the message. "It must be done. This has to end here." He looks at the Cousland family sword and shield hanging on the wall above the communit. "Definately gonna take the sword with me." He sighs. "Question is, how am I gonna explain this to Kaden." He glares once at the image. "Definately gonna obliterate him this time." He stands up and turns off the unit.
He walks over to the refresher and takes a quick shower and then gets out and changes into a clean navy blue tunic and pants. He clips his lightsaber onto his belt and decides to head into the meditation gardens to meditate for a while. Walking over to Kaden, he leans down and gently kisses her forhead. He leaves a small note telling her where he's at and then heads out of the bedroom. He checks in on the sleeping forms of James and Jael and then heads downstairs. He walks to the front door and opens it. He steps outside and then closes the door. He heads to the Gardens.
