A one story house similar to the one on Coruscant, located not far from the Temple near a river. It has a master bedroom and bathroom, two smaller bedrooms, one bathroom, a study/office area, a living room and a kitchen area. Beneath the house is a passageway that connects to Nick's lab beneath the Temple Infirmary.

After having been out all night after the Council meeting talking and catching up, Nick and Kaden quietly walk through the front door of their new home. Nick looks around and smiles softly seeing that everything has been done according to his specifications. "Awesome, everything is perfect." Kaden looks at him and nods her head approvingly. "It is perfect Nick. Just like the one back on Coruscant. When did you have this done?" Nick looked over at her with a sly grin on his face. "Just recently. Had it started right after you woke up. Thankfully the construction droids had it finished in time. Hope you like it." Kaden smiled and walked over to him and gently hugged it. "I love it ad'ika. Its wonderful." She let's go of him and walks over to a couch and sits down in it.
Nick chuckles and smiles. "Good, I had hope you'd like it." He walks over to the couch and sits beside her. "Now Kaden, are you sure you're okay with the Council's decision about you waiting on being promoted to Master?" Kaden sighed and looked at him. "Yes Nick. I told you that last night that I was fine with it. I see what everyone was meaning about going through the evalutions. I would've done it my self anyway." Nick nods his head. "Okay, just wanted to make sure. I'm here for you if you need anything." She smiles softly at him. "I know that Nick. You've always been there for me and always will." She looks down and then back at him. "So, when are James and Jael going to get here?" She asks him quietly. Nick smiles and gently takes her hand in his. "Don't worry. I've already sent for them and they'll be here within the next couple of days." She smiles and nodded her head. "Good. I can't wait to see how much they've grown." She said quietly and leaned her head against his shoulder. Within minutes, she falls into a gentle sleep. Nick smiles softly and wraps a gentle arm around her waist and falls into a light sleep as well.

Nick awoke to a knock on the front door. He quietly gets up off the couch, being careful not to wake Kaden and walks over to the door. He opens it and sees a Temple messenger droid carrying a large package and a letter. "Greetings Master Owabi, I was instructed to deliver these to you." It said and handed Nick the package and letter. Nick nodded his head and mumbled a thanks and sent the droid on its way. He quietly pushed the door closed with his foot and then walked into the study. He sat the package down on his desk and looked at the envelope and saw that it was sent by his parents. He opened the envelope and carefully pulled out the letter. He read the contents and stunned at what he reads, he drops into his chair, trying to let it sink in.
Kaden, in the living room, wakes up feeling Nick's confusion. She gets up off the couch and walks hurriedly into his study to find him sitting at his desk, with a perplexed look on his face. She walks over to him and lays a gentle hand on his shoulder. "Nick, what is it? What's bothering you Ad'ika?" Nick didn't respond but held up the letter in his right hand to show her what was wrong. She took the letter and read outloud.
"My dearest son,
Your Mother and I have recently uncovered some things about our ancestors. They were the Nobles of Bakura until the Empire took over. Turns out our family name is Cousland and not Owabi like we had been led to believe. I spoke with the Bakuran Assembly and found old records dating to back during the Clone Wars. The Assembly decided to reinstate our Family's title and authority. Enclosed with this letter is a package containing the Cousland Family Sword and Shield. Bear them well my son.
Your loving Father,
Bryce Cousland"
Kaden looks up from reading the letter to find Nick opening the package that the letter mentioned. She doesn't say a word and quietly watches Nick as he pulled out an iron shield bearing the Cousland family Crest and then pulled out the aforementioned family sword and sheath. Smiling slightly, Nick pulled the sword out of the sheath and inspected the glistening blade, to find it still very sharp. "Wow, this sword has been in my family for generations and the blade still looks brand new. Truly magnificent!"
Nick resheathed the sword and sat it on his desk next to the shield and looked at Kaden. "Who would've thought, me, a noble." Kaden smiled and sat the letter on the desk and then gently wrapped her arms around his waist. "You see. I knew there was something noble about you Owabi, or should I say Cousland?" Laughing softly she gently hugs him. "Guess that makes me a Cousland now too?" Grinning slightly, Nick nods his head. "Of course it does Kaden. Same for James and Jael." He then sighs quietly. "Damn, now I'll have to go and get all of our records changed to the new name. But first we need to get Cate over here and tell her about this." Kaden nods her head in agreement and pulls out the comlink to get into contact with Cate.

Kaden then turns off the commsystem and looks at Nick smiling softly. "Okay, message is away, hopefully she'll be here soon." She says quietly and sits on the corner of Nick's desk quietly looking at the sword and shield. Nick just smiles and nods his head. He sits back down in his chair and waits for Cate to arrive.

Kaden looks up hearing the doorbell ring and glances slightly at Nick. He nods his head once and she slides off the desk and runs to the front door and pulls it open. "Cate, you made it. Come on in. Nick's in the study." She stepped back to let Cate step inside and then closed the door after she was inside. She quietly led Cate through the living room and into Nick's study.
Nick stood up and held out the letter he had gotten. "Before you say anything Cate, read this first. It'll explain everything." He hands the letter and stands there with his arms crossed looking at her. Kaden walks back over to Nick and wraps an arm around his waist and quietly watches.

Yes, Kaden. What is going on? Alright.
She follows Kaden into Nick's study.
Nick? You wanted to see me?
She looks at him in surprise and takes the letter. She opens it and reads it. She raises her eyebrows as she reads it. When she finishes it she says.
I see. Sword and shield? May I see them?

Nick smirks slightly and nods his head. "Of course Cate." He says and points at the said items on his desk. Using the Force slightly, he looks at the sheathed sword and shield and lifts them into the air before them. "Well, what do you think?"

Seeing his smirk raises her right eyebrow but then shakes her head and smiles.
You seemed well pleased with yourself cousin. Cousland is it now? That name seems familiar. I have heard of it someplace before. No,... I can't think of where I heard it.
Hmmm. Very good craftmanship. She says as she leans forward to examine it closer.
I wonder... I think I recognize the maker. And there is one way to tell for sure. May I handle them?

He chuckles quietly hearing her and nods his head. "Yes, it is indeed Cousland. I'm still trying to let it sink in Cate." He raises an eyebrow when she mentions that she's possibly heard that name before and then shrugs when she says that she can't think of where she's head it.
He watches as she looks at the Sword and shield. "You recognize it? Umm, yeah, you can handle them." He said and taking hold of the sword by the hilt, he pulls the sword out of the sheath and turns it hilt first to Cate. He sets the shield down on the desk in front of her.

I would think so. I'm still trying to digest the information. I wish I could remember where I heard that name before. She frowns.
Thanks, cousin. She absently still looking at the sword.
*She takes the sword's hilt and examines the blade. Turning it over and carefully looking along the blade. Then she bends over the shield.*
Hmmm. I think is somethin hidden here on both of them.
*She begins to make a humming series of notes over the shield and the sword. They begin to glow and across the surface of the shield and down the middle of the blade of the sword runes appear in a glowing blue light. When she stops humming they disaapear again.*
I thought so Sidhe runes. This a Sidhe made sword, cousin.
She hands the sword back to Nick.
Take care of this cousin, it is worth much and I don't mean just in the terms of money.

Nick raises an eyebrow when she mentions something hidden within the sword and shield. "Hidden within?" His and Kaden's eyes then widen slightly as the blue runes appear on both items. "So, they're both Sidhe make? Truly amazing." He thinks for a second and then looks up sharply at Cate. "So you're trying to tell us that both items are enchanted?"

That is one way of looking at it Cousin. About as enchanted as a lightsaber would seem to a non-force user.
Sidhe weapons are made as we do with lightsabers by using the Force during the forging. I don't know that much about it. I don't recognize all the runes. Colin would be able to tell you more. Runes on these have different purposes. The shield's are mainly for protection. The sword's are truly remarkable. Sharpness for one.

He nods his head. "Ah, I see. Well that explains it. Heh, we might need to get Colin here to inspect these. He might be able to tell what the runes are." Kaden looks at Nick and raises an eyebrow. "Oh, that's right you've never met Colin have you ad'ika?" She shakes her head. "Nope, never met him. Who is he?" Nick grins. "Kaden, Colin is Cate's twin brother." She nods her head. "Ah, got it. Thanks Nick." He chuckles and looks at Cate. "Well, that's technically what a shield is for, for protection. And I can tell instantly that the sword is razor sharp."

Oh, you won't be able to keep him away when he hears about this. Just don't let him try to take it apart to see how it functions. She says with a wink.
Oh, I forgot you haven't met my little brother, Kaden. Think fairy tale prince and you have my brother Colin.She says with a mischevious expression. She chuckles again.
And where Colin is Aine is not far behind. Aine is his girlfriend though neither one of them will admit it. She explains to Kaden.
*laughs*
Yes, that is sort of obvious isn't it? I meant for more than just phyiscal protection though there are runes for that too.
She nods.
Yes, most unusually sharp considering its age. It still has its orginal edge. This sword has never been sharpened like a normal sword. Also one of the runes that I could read on it is one for protection. If I read it right the sword protects its wielder.
