Luke listens as the votes come in, and he casts his as, "Nay at this time."

After hearing all the concern's and The Grand Master's thoughts he unfolds his arms and with his right hand rubs his goatee.....after a few moments of forming his thoughts he votes "At this time I would like to see how well she has recovered and her abilities. At this time I vote to keep her status as is for now and when she is evaluated by the others and myself...which I fell will be quick and painless then we can revisit her promotion." and bows to the others.

[Grainne Fett]

Her eyes circling the room, she says "Nay until a psychical and psychological evaluation can be done."

[Caitlin Windancer]

Cait looks at Nick and then nods.

I would have to agree with Gert's assessment of the situation.

It is better to err on the side of caution. We don't want to cause Kaden more injury.

I say wait for now. Give her time to heal completely.

I don't think she will mind.

*To Nick* Do you think she will be okay with this?

I say Nay for now.

"Then we have a consensus on this subject. We will wait and see what the evaluations say before moving forward on this subject.

Master Grainne, you had something you wished to bring before the Council? If you are you ready to address it, then please go ahead."

[Grainne Fett]

Standing up, she bows to all. "Grand Master Skywalker and fellow Council members. My husband, Jango Fett and I would like to start a join training with the Jedi Order and the Mandalorians. I am leaving for Concord Dawn soon to start my training as a Mandalorian, and will be back to see if we can incorporate the training to the Jedi training."
Sitting down, she holds up a Holo of some of the training she will under go and retrain the Order with.

[Gert Yonsz-Kenobi]

"Um.. Gran dear.. I know Jango can be trusted, I'm a little concerned about some of his er... associates."

[Grainne Fett]

Staring at the holo of her step mother, she chuckles on the inside. "Gert, you know better then that. I already had them checked out." Holding up a flimsifilm dossier of the Mando.

[Luke Skywalker]

"Thank you Master Grainne. I believe this training could prove valuable for situations when we are unable to rely on the Force. I suggest we have you go through the training, then give us an evaluation of the training and the potential that it has. We can then make an informed decision at that time."

[Pappy-Wan Kenobi]

He shakes his head and gives a hushed chuckle...his old bucket headed team mate training Jedi in the Mandolorian fighting style. "Well I have been through this training and it is very intense. I feel this training can be beneficial but needs to be done in stages. Not everyone is cut out to this form of fighting. Much as we have healers, and others more comfortable as diplomats or at security matters. Take it slow Grainne but I feel this could be helpful."

[Gert Yonsz-Kenobi]

"I believe we should proceed with caution nevertheless. Not all Mandoa can be trusted."

[Nick Cousland]

Nick looks at the holo's of the training and nods his head slightly. "Sounds intense yet interesting at the same time. I believe it could be an asset to have as back up in case we need it."

[Grainne Fett]

Bowing to her father's holo, she winks so only he can see it. Sitting down, she looks at Master Jade Skywalker"It will be most beneficial to all Master Jade."

[Mara Jade Skywalker]

After thinking it over a bit, Mara responds "I agree that combat training without relying on your lightsaber or the Force is essential, and I support that 120%. I would suggest that the training only be one way for the time being. Grainne would learn the Mando combat style, but not pass on Jedi training techniques. As Gert said, not every Mando can be trusted like his brothers."

I concur. I think this is another wait and see situation.
The added combat skill would be an assest but not everyone is up to that type of training.

But I think it of interest to try it.
