The Meditation Gardens of the Yavin IV Jedi Temple were lush meditative retreats in which members of the Jedi Order could visit at any time of the day or night while at the Temple. Situated on various levels of the Temple Ziggurat and within the four Council Spires, the meditation gardens were generally cool, sun-drenched chambers in which Jedi could meditate amongst the foliage and trickling streams. Filled with dense foliage and moist grottoes, benches lined dirt and stone paths that cut through the jungle-like chambers. In one of the gardens, a fish-filled pond connected to a sandy beach, while butterflies fluttered over the gently lapping waters. On the rooftop of the Ziggurat were at least eight large gardens located in the architecture that jutted out from the pyramid of the Temple. Clerestories formed the ceilings of these gardens and access to the Ziggurat's broad rooftop plaza was gained through three broad doorways. In one of the gardens, a sandpit near a towering tree was filled with pink stones which were gently balanced upon each other, inducing a very calming atmosphere.

Nick quietly enters the Meditation Gardens and walks down the path towards his usual spot next to the brook and a large tree. He sits down in the grass and leans his back against the tree's trunk. He closes his eyes and falls into a deep meditation trance.

Nick opens his eyes coming out of his deep meditation. He looks around and senses a disturbance coming from the Infirmary. "Cait. Could she be..." Grinning slightly he jumps to his feet and hightails it out of the gardens, heading for the Infirmary.

Luke enters the garden and heads toward his favorite spot. It is reminiscent of Dagobah. He sits on the ground, crosses his legs and places his hands on his knees, palms upward. Luke clears his mind and begins to levitate stones around him. First one, then another, and another, until he has a dozen floating at different heights and distances from him. He begins to revolve them around himself as if they were in orbit. Luke takes care not to allow any of the stones to collide, and focuses on the precision needed to achieve this. He slowly increases speed until the stones are but a blur, traveling around him.
Having achieved his objective, he halts the stones in midflight, and returns them to their original spots. Luke stands and wipes the sweat from his brow. He then heads out of the garden in search of some breakfast.

Luke enters the garden and heads to his favorite spot. It reminds him of Dagobah, and thus Yoda and his early training. He realizes it might be silly, but it seems he can relax faster here rather than anywhere else.
He sits down and leans back against a tree. Luke opens himself up to the Force. He begins to expand his conciousness and open up more and more to the Force. He begins to see images. Past, present, and possible futures flash before him, but none of them stands out. None of the threads unfold to reveal anything to him.
After a while, Luke begins to withdraw back to himself. Having finished meditating, he stands up and brushes himself off. He heads out into the Temple grounds.

Cait enters the gardens and walks slowly along the path noticing the changes in the gardens since she was here last time. She looks for a quiet spot in which to meditate. She much to think about. She finally finds a spot in a small grotto near the waterfall and sits down. She closes her eyes and concentrates on images from her Force vision trying to get one in particular to become clearer.

Luke enters the garden, and heads to his favorite spot. He sits down on the ground, relaxes, clears his mind, then opens himself up to the Force. He tries to focus on what is troubling him and shut other visions out. Images come but are put aside as it becomes clear that this is not what is troubling him. After awhile he sees the image of the Temple, but there appears to be no activity. He draws closer and verifies that it is empty. "Where is everyone?"
Luke is certain this is what has been nagging at the corners of his mind. He comes back to the present, and stands up in the garden. Hours have passes since he got here, but he is rested from his meditation.
How can he get more Jedi involved? Where will they come from?
Shaking his head, and without answers, Luke heads out of the garden and into the night.

After several hours of meditation Cait gets up to stretch. Some of the images of her vision are now clearer but she is not sure what she do next about them. She senses that some of what she saw is in the future but how far in the future she is not sure. She walks slowly through the gardens thinking.

Nick quietly enters the Gardens thinking to himself. He treads softly through the pathways and comes to a stop near the small river. He sits down in the grass and sighs quietly, enjoying the peace and quiet.

Cait deep in thought walks right by where Nick is and doesn't see him.

Nick snaps out of his thinking as he senses a presence walk by behind him. Looking up, he grins slightly. "Hey Cousin! Wake up would ya?" He chuckles quietly and looks at her.

Cait jumps startled and loses her balance and falls in his lap.
She starts laughing.
Hi cousin. I thought I drop in to see how you were doing.
And I am awake.

Reacting on instinct, he quickly catches her before she falls into the water. He looks at her and raises an eyebrow. "That's putting it literally there Cate. Heh, I'm doing okay. How are you feeling? Any better?" He helps her sit down in the grass beside him.

Thanks, Nice catch cos.
*laughs* I'm a literal kind of girl. Good to hear it. Any more trouble from what happened at the Spire?
She sits up with his help.
I'm doing okay. You will be glad to know I finally got full.
*smiles*
Yes, just trying to figure out something. Oh and I wasn't really in a coma. I was conscious the whole time. It was some type of Force vision. I think we need to be prepared. Something is coming, something big. Darkness is rising again.

He chuckles quietly. "Heh, thanks Cate. No, nothing more from the Spire. All that's over with." He grins slightly. "Well, that's good to hear Cate." He looks at her, a curious look on his face. "Really? Only unconcsious? That's odd. Everyone could've sworn you were in a coma." He sighs quietly. "So a Force Vision? More darkness to come. That's just great." He mutters quietly. "So, what do we do now?"
