Background:
Tookie grew up in the Gungan city of Umberbool where he and his family lived thanks to the success of their family line. Tookie was a relative of the infamous Gungan General and Senator Jar Jar Binks and thanks to his uncle’s success, he figured that the Gungans had made a place for themselves in the galaxy… and then the Empire came.
-Umberpool City-
When the Empire arrived at Umberpool City, they were there to look for a Jedi named Kypur Tosh that had been on the run since he learned about a bounty on his head for Espienage. Obviously the Empire had discovered his location. Tookie volunteered and was the one who ended up helping Kypur escape but it cost him dearly, as an Imperial submersed ship fired on and destroyed his home during a daring escape.
-Jedi Master Kypur Tosh-
Taking a short cut through the planet core, Tookie and Kypur began talking about the Jedi Order in an attempt to draw Tookie’s mind off his loss. Tookie liked to hear about the stories of the Jedi and thought he could be a Jedi maybe. That is when Kypur told Tookie that there was something special about him, that he possibly could become a Jedi. After making their way off of Naboo, Kypur began teaching Tookie what he could. When they landed 9 weeks later they were shocked when they discovered that they had landed on Yaga Minor. While they were stuck there they managed to avoid detection for several months but something happened that changed their situation and Tookie's destiny.
-Swoop Gang-
One day while gathering supplies, Tookie was accosted by a swoop gang that wanted his groceries and Tookie was forced to defend himself. He never realized how he did it, but all he could think of what how he wished the thugs would just back off him. Suddenly, Tookie felt the Force swell and he let out a Force repulse that sent the thugs flying forcefully into the air and into the sides of buildings. With a throng of onlookers gawking at him after his display, Tookie gathered the items he had dropped and ran home as fast as he could. When he told Kypur what happened, the Jedi Master decided to air on the side of caution opting to try and barter passage off planet with the few credits the two had saved. They quickly grabbed what they could and headed for the shadier side of the Yaga Minor Spaceport but along the way were spotted and someone identified Tookie as the being responsible for the commotion in the marketplace.
-Stormtroopers spot Tookie and Tosh-
As Kypur and Tookie ran through the street stormtroopers were in hot pursuit. That was when a blaster bolt went through Kypur chest and dropped him flat. Tookie picked him up and began to run, cutting into an alley and down into maintenance tunnels. Kypur was laying there dying when he gave Tookie his lightsaber and told him to not let the Jedi die. Tookie made his way to the shady-side of town and ducked into a cantina to find a way of Yaga Minor.
Tookie eventually made it back to Naboo and met with his remaining family. After a somewhat turbulent homecoming, Tookie married his betrothed mate Gula and promised to keep his family safe from the Empire as much as possible. He took this time to study the holocron that Master Tosh had given him in great detail, learning its secrets and honing his skills. He built a second lightsaber, one of his own design, to company the saber Tosh handed him and would later incorporate many of the Gungan fighting arts with the combat knowledge stored inside the holocron. Tookie learned to be careful after losing the tip of his right ear in a saber training exercise, the exercise taught Tookie he couldn't rush his training and that he must learn patience.
Even after the death of Athena the fall of her Empire, Tookie remained on Naboo as the protector of Umberpool City. Over the last few months Tookie had been acting as an de facto advisor of sorts. When the Jedi Masters Luke and Mara Jade Skywalker appeared on Naboo to help with an incident involving Black Sun, Tookie offered his help in any way possible. At the conclusion of the inceident and the apprehesion of the Black Sun agents, Tookie decided to accept Luke's offer to join the Order and accompanied Luke and Mara back to the Jedi Academy to become a real Jedi.

Once inside, Tookie looks for a cantina hoping to find someone willing to take him home to Naboo. After walking almost half way around Yavvitiri, Tookie finds a place called the Exile's Pit Stop near the docking bays along the south side of the Speaceport. It is a rough place, spacers are getting drunk, smugglers talking amongst themselves, certain people hiding in the shadows and a couple of pirates beating the space slugs out of each other. As soon as Tookie walks in, people notice him. Not only how tall he is but the fact that you don't see too many Gungans in these parts. For a few moments the bar is virtually silent, even the brawling pirates stop and look at him briefly
"Heyo-dalees!" Tookie calls out to everyone, who all look up and stare at the Gungan for a few moments before soon going about their drinking, talking, hiding and brawling. Tookie doesn't think about this and walks up to the bar and sits down. "Ex squeeze me..?"
From behind the counter pops up a thin human woman with long black hair and olive complexion wearing a blue tank top and Corellian bloodstripe pants. She has a barrag over her right shoulder and a case of Lum in her arms. "What is it?"
"Cans yousa tells messa where My mights be findins someones whos mightin be ables to help messa gets to Naboo?" Tookie asks the bartender.
"What do I look like? A tour guide?" the Bartender replies rather rudely as she sets the lum on the small counter behind the bar. "Either buy a drink or get out."
"My so sowwy, messa have gungaberry juice." Tookie requests his favorite beverage with a smile. The bartender suddenly recognizes the Gungan form something a drunk spacer said he saw a few days ago. and gives the young Gungan the once over before cocking a grin his way and beginning to mix a concoction for him. She wonders if this is really the alien that messed up her boyfriend Choggo. She would have to subdue Tookie so she could call up her man and have him check Tookie out. A few moments later a nice orange, red and purple drink mimicking a sunset is sitting before the Gungan. As she slides it to Tookie, the bartender manages to slip a knock-out pill in his glass.
"They call this a Naboo sunset; its made with that gungaberry juice you mentioned." She says with a grin.
"Tanks..." Tookie says as he reaches for the glass. That is when the Force warns him of deception on the part of bartender and a strange feeling from the glass he is about to reach for. Tookie knows something is up and he might have to make a quick exit. But first, he needs to dispose of this drink that is beginning to worry him.
