The Telos Polar Irrigation System was the hub at the primary source of fresh water on the world of Telos IV, in the opening stages of the Jedi Civil War, the irrigation system was abandoned, leaving its hub, nestled into the snow-covered mountains at the northern latitudes of the planet, empty. Some time after the Conclave on Katarr, the Jedi Master Atris rediscovered the irrigation system. Atris used the abandoned facility in an attempt to rebuild the Jedi Order. Due to the irrigation system's secluded location and the echoes within the Force that had been generated by the scourging of Telos, this proved an ideal hiding place from Sith. The Telosian Academy was designed to be completely self-contained, having been built with every facility needed to maintain its self-sufficiency. The building held a hangar that was large enough to accommodate a starship the size of a light freighter, storage rooms, separate quarters for any on-site personnel, a private meditation chamber, and a council like chamber for a Jedi Council to meet. Midelis, Servant to the House of Malreaux Yet again, as loyal servant to his master, he is on another routine mission. This time to the cold frontiers of the planet Telos northern regions looking for an ancient site long since buried and forgotten. Armed with the latest sophisticated scanning equipment that money could buy, Midelis was out securing another safe house for his Master. Told of an ancient polar irrigation hub, one to rival those on Coruscant. He was acting as a scout before more plans were made. According to info he had it was used around 3,951 BBY, so it was prolly buried under tons of ice. So far all scans were unable to detect anything....

Midelis first mistake was thinking it was buried under the ice, instead of looking against the mountain side. Sure enough there was something there, covered in ten feet of ice. It was a good a place to start then any of the other locations that had been found.
So using his internal comlink, he contacts the waiting GR-75 medium transport. First thing was unloading the thermal digging equipment to get inside the old structure. Then seeing if the ice had preserved most of the insides so they could begin working. Same thing happened on Hoth, the ice kept the base pretty much in the same shape for years.

The GR-75 medium transport lands not far way in a field of snow. Nothing happens until one of the crates falls from its hull, when it opens a group of 20 construction droids walk out. Most are armed with thermal digging equipment. Others begin to unload the magnetic crates holding supplies, more droids and other necessary building tools.
Midelis stands watching all the work in progress, still taking readings of the structure buried in the ice. From what he could tell from the readings, was an open space on the other side of the ice wall. A good sized room by the looks of it.
Seeing the construction droids walking closer he points to the section that he thought was the best way to reach the open space on the other side.

Midelis internal sensors noticed the drop in weather was happening fast, good thing they had been modified to work in the extreme temperatures of this region before starting out on the mission. The others had been at work for hours drilling a hole big enough for them to evaluate the inside of the old structure.
Meantime Midelis was busy looking at banking reports from his masters many bank accounts. Most were of the suspicious nature, others were of more respectable, but all were making him wealthier by the business quarter. Then he remembers to do something, it had been an order for three weeks now, one of his masters plans. It involved a Jedi's bank account, Jael Xaden was her name....it took this long to finally overwrite her passwards to withdraw all her funds, leaving her broke. Next he messed with her bank accounts records making her owe money to the bank and various companies. Then he erased all his involvement of what he did and traces of his computer account hacking, plantinig.
Hearing the shutting off of the thermal drills, Midelis looks up and peers into the dark ice hole.....

Stepping through and using his internal sensors he scans the area beyond, only to find a large room. Fairly intact, with a few rusted droids in places. A large generator in front of him, and up above a window that he thinks could be the control room over looking what is possibly the hanger bay.
Followed by some construction droids, he sends them to look around to see to the possibility of repair. on his left he finds a side passage way up to the control room, Midelis walks up cautiously. At the top of the passage way he stops at a doorway, using his enhanced strength from his pistons he forces the door open so he can enter.

If a droid could smile, it would be Midelis, everything was in great condition. After the power generator shut off the cold air and temperatures kept the base in the same condition if was back in the Sith Wars.
Even most of the existing equipment was still in good repair, though centuries of disuse and improvements in technology made them obsolete. Every computer and communications system would have to be replaced, but with the great condition of the building it could be done quickly.
Ordered the unloading of the transport and the for all the construction droids to be brought in, Midelis explores the rest of the building.

Exploring the rest of the building, he finds a circular common room, a dormitory, engineering room, an empty room and a council chamber looking room.
The circular room was just that a room made out in a circle, nothing much to it. The dormitory was useful for base personal, and had a training room made out in the middle of the room. The engineering room was used as a repair shop by the looks of all the droid bodies laying around. The council room was set up like ever other Jedi council chambers, with seats situated on the outskirts of the room. The last room was just a huge empty room, nothing inside it to give a clue as to what it was used for....it would be turned into a cell of sort. A place to keep something away from everyone else in the base.
All were in good repair and with the construction droids OK, they would start on repairs tonight.

Repair log: First week.
Things were going smoothly, every hallway and room cover panels was stripped. Next the replacement of wires, sensors, holo-feeds and other equipment were installed to make room for the newer up to date kind.

Repair log: Fourth week.
The arrival of the on-site human crew marked the completion of the build. The building site was up to date on everything, and the finishing touches were still being done. Most of the construction droid crew had been replaced with soldiers and medical personal.
The base gifted with one transport would be self-sufficient for the most part. Everything they needed was stored, and with the base transport could go out and gather whatever else was needed.
This would be the most secure of the new bases, every step had been made to keep it secret. From paying, threatening, and in most cases killing, as an example to those that broke the trust of his master.
With the Power generator scan shielded from detection, to having people inside the Telosian Government keeping prying eye from getting to close. Everything was set to begin.....

Volk pilots his Xwing down close to the ground, using terrain following techniques he gets below scanner and heads off to where he wanted to go. The Northern Ice caps of the planet, held a safe haven still being run by his loyal droid, Midelis.
Mainly used as a safe house when required, its where abouts where only known by him. He was sure, that others if they knew their history would know about this place as it was the locals had long forgotten this place had ever existed. So when he came upon a reference to the site, he sent Midelis to see if it would suit their purposes.
Sending in the landing code, the shields lower revealing the hanger bay, and as soon as he landed the shields went back up. Opening up the cockpit, Volk jumps down and is greeting by Midelis. "Greetings Master Malreaux.....I was happy to hear of your survival. " He looked up and down and sort of tsked." New fashion statement?"
"Something like that, Med. How are things going here?" He asks as he pulls off his helmet.
"A worthless existence I have been given.....I have served you faithfully for years and i get this current assignment" He goes on and on as they walk up the corridor to the control room.
All that whining usually meant he was bored. He should prolly send him back to Nar Shadaa to keep tabs over there. This place could be run by the crew already in residence. "You will be happy to know that I am sending you packing then." He smiles at his old friend. "You fired you worthless scraps of junk. After we are done here, you can go back to Nar Shadaa if you want or where ever. Though it would be nice to have you over there just in case...if you know what i mean." Before being stationed here, Medelis had served as a bar tender in one of the worst cantinas on the Hutt controlled world. He was good as getting info, often just listening on conversations many had while drunk. He would be better suited there.

"Oh, joy..another mid-level post that I am over qualified for. So what business do you have here today?" Medelis says as they walk into the hanger control room. Around the room were crews working, they each had their duties and preformed them well. This was the control room for info being gathered from this region of the galaxy. This outpost in conjunction with Dathomir, and now Vjun served as the GJO highway of information. It kept them up to date on many if not all happenings on this side of the galaxy. Volk hands him a data-pad with schematics for a new droid model. It hadn't been seen in service since the Clone Wars. It should be a surprise to anyone with Force powers out there. He had to get a prototype done so he could get a meeting with Black Sun. If not he would sell them openly in the Black Market. "I need a pro type of that with in the week and shipped to Coruscant, Got it?"He would spend the night here, then leave the next day. He still had to make a stop at the planet Dathomir, to check on the progress there. He would make a call to Coruscant from here, just to set things up on his end. See what could be accomplished. New day old game, It was time to move on. Getting dressed and heading out he walks to the hanger Control room. Inside he finds Medelis and nods his greeting. "Whats the news for today, Mel?" He asks as he grabs a cup of caf for himself.
"Nothing new on this side of the Galaxy besides a new Mandalore, it seems one was appointed if that interests you." Medelis twirls in his seat to look at Volk as he pours himself a drink. "No thank you I don't want one." He says with a tilt in his head.
Making a rude noise Volk talks a drink and sighs as it goes down hot. "Pfft, you cant drink...bolt for brains." Mandos had never concerned him, they were broken and had been for years. There were still some that were a danger to people at large, but it would be nice to keep an eye on things. "If your bored why don't you go over there and set up shop on Mandalore...or Concord Dawn." He smirks at the droid.
"I might just to have some excitement. What of Zonama Sekot? We going to pack up and leave it to the Vong?" Medelis stands and gets closer to hear what Volk had to say.
"I will send a team later, I want Vjun set up first. Thats our main priority at present." Volk tells him as he finishes his Caf and starts to walk away. Remembering something he turns and mentions, "Keep an eye on our Kage...he is out there somewhere. Keep me informed if you can, I might be going off the grid for a little while."
Waving Volk steps out of the Control room and heads down to the Hanger and his waiting X-wing. Jumping in he lifts off and heads to orbit.....
