Phedra
Phedra is a Paindeal, one of the many unusual races native to Caitlin's home-world, Danaan.
She is one of Cait's oldest friends.
She acts a companion and bodyguard.
She has the ability as do many of that world to shift shapes between various forms.
Her forms are of cats and various catlike creatures to humanoid.
Her race is long lived though not as long lived as others.
She is around 400 hundred years old.
Her personality is usually laid back and easy going.
She can be a bit overprotective at times of Caitlin.
Eleyn
Eleyn is a Neysai.
Another race of Caitlin's home-world.
Her race is ancient and very long lived, they come close to being immortal.
They count their ages in millennia.
Eleyn is about 130 millennia.
She is young for her race, there are more of her kind much older.
All neysai have a horn growing from their foreheads.
This horn gives them several unusual abilities.
Because of this there are many myths and legends surrounding their race.
Among these abilities are healing, neutralizing of all poisons, and the ability of teleportation of themselves and other objects and people.
Like others on Danaan, neysai can shift forms.
They can have two forms.
Their natural form, a horse-like creature with one horn, often given the name unicorn.
And a humanoid form that looks human except for small a horn in the middle of their foreheads.
Not all neysai can shift to this second form but many have developed this ability over the millennia.
Personality: Gentle, humorous.
She is more a stickler for the rules than Phedra.
She is not as tolerant of misbehavior as Phedra.
As a tendency to scold and nag Caitlin to follow the rules. She is fiercely loyal.
VERY Overprotective especially of Cait.
