Background: Riani Strachylde believed she was save by Davva Vanstra at age 4. He vanquished a few mercenaries of the Sons Of Malak mercenary group that slayed her Parents. So she thought.She would later on in her life to find out this wasn’t true. Her Parents were actaully her foster parents. Riani is a True Dantari female; belonging to the Mokk tribe called the Askani or Children of the Stars.
Davva took her to Coruscant to be trained as a Jedi. There she excelled in her studies quite often surpassing Jedi Padawans several years older than her. She really excelled in Lightsaber combat. Learning all the forms but Vaapad and being naturally ambidexteritous she fights with dual Lightsabers of the same length. Dava Vanstra guide every facet of her training; seeing to it she had access to knowledge that even some Jedi Masters where only allow to study.
Through the course of her life, Riani climbed the ladder of the Jedi hierarchy quickly. She attained the rank of Master before she turned 21. She even sat on the council for a time. All through Davva’s guidance.
Learning her Master had left to seek knowledge throughout the galaxies, Riani kept tabs on him until he inexplicably vanished. This distressed her to the point she set out to find him. When she did she was shocked to find that he had fallen to the Darkside of the Force. Having been reborn as Darth Eversio.
Riani tried hard to turn him back to the Light with no avail. Eventually she fell into dispare over this and fell herself. Becoming Darth Darkchylde for a time. Again she was guide by her Master and the wrought havoc throughout the galaxy. She was even the mastermind behind the Explosive Diversion Protocols in which she poisoned the Deathstick drug with an additive that caused the addicts to explode if in range of a special audio frequency. They used this tactic to divert the authorities and Jedi from there other objectives.
Eventually Riani got tired of Eversio’s constant tests of her loyalties. It all ended the night she slayed Eversio in Lightsaber combat. Riani returned to the Lightside eventually over the course of several months with help of the Jedi and the Zeison Sha known as Kreiton; whom she had fallen in love with.
Kreiton had helped Riani through some of her more trying times. Her struggles with the temptation of the Darkside, her emotional conflicts after finding out she could not bear children, and her fight with the primal urge to mate which is unique to Dantari women called Tahesia.
Over the course of time they have fought side by side on various missions in which both have learned much about each other. The bond between them is a kindred one. One that can only be explained as warriors of a similar mettle. They spent a lot of time in deep discussions about The Force and warfare. Eventually the discussions got more personal to the point that they shared the darkest secrets , hopes, dreams, and finally professing their love for one another.
After several more months Kreiton proposed to her and she accepted. Something she has never regretted. They were married at her home on Dantooine surrounded be friends and extended family. They continued to find ways to be together even though they were from separate factions.
Then the miracle happened. On Ossus while Riani was participating in a conclave she fainted. When she was checked out in the infirmary she was tyold that she was pregnant. This gave Riani a tangible ray of hope that made her stronger emotionally than she ever been.
Through several more trails on their love and relationship especially at the hands of Xin Davion. Riani and Kreiton have become stronger. Though the repercussions of some events of the Jedi Order led Riani to question her path of destiny. Finally realizing that she had never truly chose her path Riani stepped down from the Jedi Order. Though many were shocked those closest to her remained supportive and encouraged her to find her peace.
Riani now is a full fledged Zeison Sha warrior having completed her training and trials. Though there are some dissidents she has been accepted by her husbands people and lives with her husband and young daughter, Keirah ,on Yanibar.
