History: Born on the planet Tatooine, Markon Starkiller was only an infant when he was brought to the Jedi Temple. both his parents were slain. His father was a powerful Sith Lord, and his mother was a one time Jedi Master. Though his parents never did see eye to eye on the aspects of the force, thier passion for eachother was a very important part of thier relationship. No one really knows why they were killed or how, or even how Markon survived and was brought to the Temple. It is one of the greater mysteries of the galaxy.
As Markon grew older, he began to inherit some of the traits of his parents. He had the kind gentle heart of his mother, and the power and determination of his father. Through those traits, Markon rose through the Jedi ranks with impressive speed. A Padawan at the age of 10, he had quickly rose to Jedi Knight at the age of 15, and was a Master at the age of 18. One of the youngest master's in the history of the Jedi Order, Markon was determined to bring peace to the galaxy.
At the age of 19, Markon met, possibly his greatest pupil to have ever studied under him. Her name was: Liana Ordo. Liana was, like Markon, strong willed and always determined to reach the next level and become that much better than everyone else. After a couple years of training, Liana too had become a Jedi, and as teacher and pupil, Markon and Liana were perhaps the strongest duo in the Order. They went on several missions together, fought many enemies, encountered thier fair share of Sith and did what they could to restore balance to the force.
Like all great teacher/student relationships, it too had to end sometime. Liana was rising through the ranks of the Jedi, even faster than her master had. At first Markon was very proud of her, and never once did he try to interfere with her training. He stood by her side at all times and watched her progress, while Markon took on other padawans as well. Soon though, while Liana was rising to the top, and was actually chosen to be on the council at such a young age, Markon felt as though he was being overlooked. He did make the council at the same time as Liana, but he figured that she may have had a hand in his selection, as though she may have felt pity for him. As much as he wanted to put it behind him, it really did go away. Soon the talk was all about Liana, and Markon was just an afterthought. Everyone knew how great she was, but they never really did care who her master was. Even out in the galaxy, his reputation was losing much respect, as Liana had become a great Jedi. When people wouid ask who had trained her, Markon's name would come up, but people never really did believe that he could be her master. It frustrated Markon, as he now knew that his rise to the top, was now overshadowed by his pupil.
It took a while for Markon to try and calm down, and just accept his fate and his destiny, though he would never be the same again. Markon would then start to go on missions alone, developed a drinking problem, and at times would show glimpses of the dark side of the force. Mistake, after mistake, Markon was soon being overwhelmed by his own grief. Alone in the galaxy, feeling a bit betrayed, Markon eventually left the Jedi Order, to the shock of so many, including Liana. Though she tried to get him to change his mind, he never really could let go of his ambition of being the best.
After a few months of traveling the galaxy alone, one day he had finally met the woman that would forever change his destiny. the woman was Trinta Bralor. Both beautiful and deadly, Markon was attracted to Trinta. She was a sith, but was a different kind of Sith. She was unusualy nice for a Sith and cared for life, and those around her unlike any Markon had ever seen before. After weeks of meeting up with eachother at bars across the galaxy, the two had finally hooked up, but at a price for Markon. the only way for them to pair, would be if Markon was willing to learn the ways of the Dark Side of the Force. After thinking it over, he finally came to the conclusion that not only did he not want to be lonely, but he wanted to know all aspects of the force. He figured that he could be like his parents, in which the light and dark clashed, but yet there was peace behind it. Training under Trinta, Markon found himself to become more powerful in many ways of the force. Aggressive, yet passionate, he learned that the force can be taught through the dark and the light and that no one really had to take sides. as he also progressed, he also was finding out more about Trinta all the time. Did she really love him, or was it all just an act, to get to him? The answer had finally come to him, when one day he was at a bar, and saw Trinta talking to a Jedi, and trying to persuade him in the same ways that she did with him. Angrily, Markon lashed out at Trinta, and for all intents and purposes, turned his back on her, and her teachings, and was once again left on his own.
Through his many journeys, he had encountered so many other people, both Sith and Jedi, Mando, humans, and aliens, Markon once again started to feel the darkside leaving him. Markon eventually made it back to the Jedi Order and was reinstated as a master. He sought forgiveness from many of his peers, including his friend and former pupil Liana. Though he was forgiven, Markon felt that he needed to give back to the Order, and was one of the first trainers of the Saber Arts Academy, where he was a trainer for Form V Djem So/Shien. Training so many of the Jedi in that form, he had once again made his name known throughout the galaxy as the best form V fighter in the galaxy. He had taught many students, and one in particular. Her name was: Glow Skirata. Very smart and beautiful, Markon and Glow suddenly started to see similar things in eachother, and although she was with a Grey Jedi by the name of Kite, they eventually fell in love. Kite was one of the people that he had met on his journey through the galaxy, and had become a great friend, if not one of his most trusted friends. Markon had felt bad about falling in love with Glow and betraying his best friend, but the bind he had with Glow was undeniable.
Though he had betrayed Kite, Markon was once happy for the first time in a long time. He continued to help out many of the students, and had also done many more missions to help the Jedi cause. Well all happy endings, would eventually come to an end. The happy times of the Jedi Order started to fade away. numerous personal battles were taking place all along the Order. finger pointing, disagreements, the Jedi Order was falling apart and no one really saw it coming. Friends had turned into political rivals, students were being neglected. All around you, the Jedi Order had somehow felt different. Markon and Glow's relationship continued to flourish and they seemed able to get past all of the politics and just concentrate on being with eachother.
One day though, there was a distress call for help from a system out in the Unknown Regions, and Glow was the master to be sent out there, along with a few Knights and Padawans, it was suppossed to be an easy mission. A couple days they were told it would take, and in a couple of days, Markon and Glow would be reunited. They said thier goodbyes to eachother, told eachother how much they loved one another, and the last words Markon ever got to say to Glow were "I love you". It had been a week since anyone had heard of them, so Markon personally took his ship and went alone to find his loved one, his soulmate. As he landed on the planet and searched for Glow and the other Jedi, he only found an empty ship. Markon continued through the planet looking for the lost Jedi, and eventually he had found thier bodies. All of the Jedi were slain, not a single one had lived, and they were all cut down by a lightsaber. As Markon searched the dead bodies looking for his beloved, he never found her body. Markon did not know what to think and wanted to find her before he was to leave the planet. As he searched for her, he had eventually came across the one that had slain all of the Jedi. Markon was ready to engage the Sith, when the Sith had revealed himself to Markon, to be his brother. Markon had always thought that he was the last of his family, but he was proven wrong by his brother. Soon, after the shock was gone, they clashed, Starkiller vs. Starkiller. Throughout the battle, Markon kept asking his brother questions as to hy he killed the Jedi, and his brother never answered until Markon asked him about Glow, and his brother told him that he had killed her, knowing that she loved Markon, she would die. Enraged by the feeling of loss of his one true love, Markon started to get very aggressive in the fight and eventually used his hatred for his brother, and defeated him. Weaponless, and unable to defend himself, Markon's brother layed on the the floor and looked up at his Markon and told him that he would do it all over again, and that the greatest moment in his life, was when he had killed Glow after raping her, and hearing her cry out for Markon to come and save her. That was the moment that Markon sealed his fate once and for all. The one time Jedi master, council member, trainer of the saber arts, and protector of all that was good in the galaxy, raised his lightsaber and killed his brother in cold blood. After he had slain his own brother, Markon then looked all over the planet in search of Glow, but never did find a body, and through the force he could still feel her, but very faint and far away.
After about a week of searching for her, Markon had gone back to the Jedi Temple to give his report, but left off the part of killing his brother. Markon then went to his quarters to pack up glow's stuff, when suddenly all of her stuff was gone. He looked around for her, but did not find her. He asked several Jedi if they had seen her, and none of them said yes, except for one padawan in particular, who had lived only a couple of apartments down Markon, had told him that she had left, and that she was crying when she left. Enraged that the Jedi could not tell Markon anyhing, he then started to blame the Jedi for her leaving. Markon then ignited his lightsaber and cut down the padawan in cold blood. Feeling the loss of life in the temple, and the obvious dark side, Markon started to run from the jedi, but still cutting down many in his path. Several Jedi had died that day in the Temple. As Markon made his way to his ship, he ran into Liana there standing at his ship. She tried to convince him to return, but he already knew that he ws beyond saving, and then attacked Liana in the hangar. They fought, teacher vs. student with no one getting the clear advantage, they kept fighting. They had then continued to fight, when finally Markon was able to get the clear advantage, and over powered Liana. He had then found this opportunity to then make his escape. Markon then entered his ship and left the system, and the Jedi Order behind for good this time.
A wanted man in the galaxy, Markon continues to walk his own path, and embraced the dark side of the force, he continues on his journey looking for Glow. He will not rest until he finds her, and if that is what happens, then he has no problem spending the rest of his life blaming the Jedi for thier betrayal, and to find his love once again, and to spend the rest of his life with her.
