Draven Colt was an unremarkable student, while force sensitive from birth, He was also born with a degenerative and uncurable nerve disease. He was taken to the Jedi Temple on Coruscant and when he was old enough, began training as a healer. He went largely unnoticed through the first 10 years of his life, learning the basics of the force and applying his new skills to his own wasting body. But the Force works in strange ways. The weaker his body grew, the stronger his command of the energies around him. the more aware of his own mortality he became, the better his control over his own Force Presence became.
He grew restless in the confines of the temple, He started sneaking out in to the City at night, wandering the streets and working his way deeper in to the bowels to find some excitement and adventure. He was often caught, and his teachers grew concerned about the rebellious, headstrong student.
a solution presented itself in the form of Master Hirut Trachyl. A Jedi known for his dislike of the Core and spent much of his time in the Rim, tracking down lost artifacts and searching out obscure force traditions. It was decided that he would take Draven with his as a padawan, hopefully sating the child's wanderlust and keeping him from the Dark Side.
It seemed to work, and Draven reforcused on his training. He would spend long hours practicing with his lightsaber for exercise, his Teacher encouraging him to study many forms of combat. He continued focusing his Force training inwards, bolstering his body, learning to shield it from attack, learning how to manipulate the energies around him. By the time the he reached adulthood, the sickly child had transformed himself into a formidable warrior.
He and his Teacher returned to the Core Worlds as the time for his Trials approached. They ventured in to the Deep Core, following rumors of a cache of Sith artifacts. And all contact was lost.
That was seven years ago. seven long years of wandering, of searching... but now his search is over. Now Draven Colt is returning home
