Greetings Sentients of the WoSW-
In an attempt to make a fun and fair game, the Admins and myself have come up with this agreed list of rules for the building and usage of fleets. From this point on these rules are in effect; all fleets will abide by these rules.
Please keep in mind tha these rules are subject to change. If any changes are made you will be informed promptly.
Thank you,
Darth Ire
Build Point System:
Each faction can build a total of three fleets with a total 40 build points per fleet. One Defense/Reserve fleet is also allowed per faction. Fleets are to be built by or under the supervision of the Faction leader and personal fleets are not allowed. All fleets must stay within the 50pt build limit, you don't have to use all your points but you cannot spend more than 40pts.
Sides:
Sides are determined by Faction alignment and alliances. If two Factions form an alliance it is considered one 'side' and therefore will fall under certain restrictions for RP battles.
-Only one SSD per side/Faction at any engagement.
-Only two fleets per side/Faction at any engagement (Not counting a reserve fleet)
How to Attack:
Please make a post detailing your fleet moving into attack positions and post to the opposing Leader's PM or in the CBox to allow the leader to muster a defense force. Since there is a real world out there, it is suggested that if you want to launch an attack, you should contact the Faction leader/player and work out a time that is mutually agreeable. In the instance of major inter-faction battles it is suggested that a check-in period occur to allow for player arrival and proper set up for the RP.
Super Star Destroyers and Engagements:
Since its impossible, not to mention absurd, for everyone to have a SSD; Factions are limited to 3 SSD-class ships per organization but only 1 Eclipse or Sovereign-class SSD.
Frigates:
Frigates are alloted in groups of five per two (2) points spent. Ships chosen as frigates must have a frigate designation to count.
Superweapons:
Superweapons are not allowed in any fleet battle, period. Zonama Sekot, while technically being a superweapon since it can destroy a fleet on its own, is not used in the same matter of fashion as say the Death Star and Darksaber and therefore is not considered a superweapon since its abilities are considered defenses.
Reinforcements:
These are created by the leader of the faction. They may be called when fleet is at 1/4 nominal size and may not be greater than 1/2 the fleet it is replacing. They are located wherever the leader has specified. (Faction controlled planet)
Shipyards and repair shops:
Regenerates points on a weekly basis per shipyard. The Shipyard must be a Faction controlled Shipyard.
Eligibility of Fleets:
Factions are allowed a total of 3 fleets per organization plus one reserve fleet. Orders are allowed a total of 1 fleet per organization plus one reserve fleet. Independent planetary defense forces are created on an as needed basis and are created only by those who are 'portraying' the leaders of said fleet for purpose of a game.
Personal Ships:
Personal ships (i.e. starfighter, freighter, etc) are exempt from from the point system and the 30 minute travel rule. Limit three personal ships per character.
Starships w/ Point Totals
Eclipse-class/Soverign-Class SSD, Koros-Strohna: 7 points
Executor-class/Vengeance-class SSD, Viscount-class SSD, Kor Chokk: 5 points
Imperial I/II-class SD, Victory II-class SD, MC-80, MC-90, Miid ro'ik, Uro-ik v'alh: 4 points
Victory I-class SD, Interdictors: 3 points
Dreadnaught Heavy cruiser, Gladiator-class SD, Suuv Ban D'Krid, Frigates (5 per): 2 points
Corvettes: 1 point
5 Squads of fighters (i.e. TIE/In/Interceptors, X-/Y-Wing, Coralskippers): 1 point
Exception(s): StealthX fighters, TIE Advanced fighters, Clawcraft fighters: 2 squads per point. Carrier role ships come with an auto-compliment of two squadrons. (either 2 fighter, 2 bomber or 1 fighter 1 bomber). Additional fighters and bombers must be purchased with build points.
