Reef Fortress was the private shoreside retreat of the Royal Family of Hapes on Reef Fortress Island. Wild dewberries grew nearby. It was here that Bartokk assassins tried to kill Ta'a Chume, and also where Isolder and Beed Thane held their duel that decided whether the Hapan Navy should enter the Yuuzhan Vong War.
