Luke used a Force Leap to go above the blades and somersault up and over Paymon. When he landed behind him, Luke spun and pulled his shoto from his belt. Igniting it, Luke attempted a slash at Paymon's left shoulder/arm with the shoto, and a slash from right to left at his knees with the lightsaber.

Luke: "Then I am alone. I am the last of the Jedi."
Obi-Wan: "Not the last of the old Jedi, Luke. The first of the new."

Luke: "There is no magic wand to make everything better—not even for a Jedi."

Luke: "Patience is a virtue."
Mara: "Never had much use for it myself."
Luke: "Yes, I've noticed."
