During the Clone Wars, a group of Lurmen escaped war in known space and colonized the planet Maridun, a world that was uncharted at the time. After being attacked by the native Amanin, they were forced to abandon their ship, which was their only way off the planet. The Lurmen's reason for this was that they would have to fight to get the ship back, the Lurmen cultural ethos being pacifist in nature. This village is one of the original settlements from the initial arrival on Maridun.

Pirate Ground Forces: 1 Brigade of standard troops (5,000 soldiers) - 10 pts. (10/50) 6 AT-ST walkers - 18pts (28/50) The Six heavy troop carriers break off to head to specific landing zones around this village, one lands near the outskirts and begins unloading troops to take the village by force. Close to 1000 Pirates, well organised and donning some interesting armor run into the village as a AT-ST gets unloaded before the heavy troop carryier takes off. The Lurmen don't appose these men due to their pacifistic nature and are easily pushed around. The pirates begin setting a perimeter around this settlement and turning it into a defensive postion. The walker take the position as sentry around the village to keep watch.

*Kevin senses the location of the village that is being held hostage, and he can also sense that the pirates are 5000 troopers strong, plus the operators of the 6 AT-ST walkers that his sensors are picking up. His sensors indicate that the pirates have the walkers set up as sentries, and knowing that they have a pretty good line of sight, Kevin decides that he and Naver will have to land a good few kilometers away from the village and approach on foot. In the Force, Kevin can sense that the pirates have complete control over the village, which doesn't surprise him, since the Lurmen tend to pacifistic.*
TTF: Naver, there's a pretty sizable pirate force controlling the village, including 6 AT-ST walkers, so this is going to be pretty tough to get into the village without being spotted and to get the villagers out. To try and stay hidden until we actually reach the village, let's head about 2 kilometers west of the village and head in on foot.
*Kevin breaks to his left and lands about two kilometers away from the village, hoping that would be sufficient distance to prevent detection. He decides to wait until Naver has landed to deactivate his cloaking device.*

Naver acknowledges and follows where he senses the other knight. He lands his craft nearby and uncloaks before jumping out of his Tie Phantom.
"These pirates are unbelievably huge. 5000 soldiers?" Naver ask raising an eyebrow, "That's ridiculous..."

*Kevin uncloaks his ship and jumps out, leaving his droid with the ships in case he and Naver need to make a quick getaway.*
Yeah, it's definitely a large force, but if I remember right from when I was younger, this pirate leader was in command of a pretty sizable organization. I just never realized how huge it was.
*Kevin reaches into the Force to find the Lurmen village so that he and Naver can head out and to make sure they're heading in the right direction. He finds the village and points in the direction it is.*
The village is in this direction. Let's start heading toward it, but keep a lookout for scouts or anything like that. We don't want to be spotted before we even have a chance to help the hostages.
*He starts heading for the village, his hand near his lightsaber hilt just in case he needs it.*

As the two Knights make there way towards the village, they can see a group of three scouts on speederbikes parked next to each other chatting.
"I'm telling you, I don't see why they want us out partolling. There isn't any point. If a fleet attacks, boss will have plenty of time to give us the signal to execute the prisoners and retreat. And no single ship is going to be able to get past the fleet without setting alarms." One, a rodian, says with an annoyed tone.
"I agree, we should be able to be with the other guys sitting back playing Sabacc or Pazaak." A big human says. His muscles are visible in the sleeveless shirt he is wearing and a tattoo of a Rancor is visible on his shoulder. "The locals are wimps and won't give any resistance and there is gonna be plenty of warning if the RGE decides to attack us instead of surrendering the prisoners."
The final man looks like Jango fett only wih an x-shaped scar across his face. "The RGE isn't going to just roll over." He mumbled, "They'll attack."
"How do you know?" The rodian says, "We have a whole planet hostage, they wouldn't have the balls to try anything."
"The RGE isn't going to just hand over prisoners to terrorist. It would make them look weak. I guarantee you they will send a giant fleet to destroy us just so they don't appear weak and sacrifice these locals. The RGE doesn't care who gets caught in the crossfire." The clone grunted. "Just like they didn't care over Msst when they killed my old boss and my brothers."
"That was different, there were no hostages and it was a rogue admiral. Honestly, your boss was an idiot for trying. How'd he make it to admiral?" The big human laughed.
The clone's blaster was in his hand in an instant, a life of military training made the former stormtrooper move almost instantly. Before anyone realized what had happened the blaster was aimed at the thug's head. "Don't you ever mock Admiral Cook again or I'll blow a hole through your tiny brain." The clone threatened with a calm empty voice.
"WOAH WOAH! CHILL DUDE!" The rodian said his eyes going wide as he reached for his blaster. However, as soon as his hands gripped his blaster he stopped. The clone's second gun was aimed at the rodian, drawn almost instantly as well.
"Don't be hasty, I'm not going to kill either of you, that was a warning." The clone said as he lowered his blasters and holstered them. "Let's just change the subject. I'd appreciate you not mock the good admiral again."

*Kevin spots the three pirate scouts ahead and motions for Naver to stop. He lies down prone in the grass to hide from them, motioning for his fellow Imperial Knight to do the same.*
TTF: Naver, got any ideas for getting past these guys? I have feeling we won't be able to just sneak around them, and I don't want to alert the other pirates by fighting them out in the open like this.

Naver scans the horizon looking for any others. "On one hand these are scouts out looking around so I don't think we'd get seen killing them. But at the same time I'm pretty sure they are having to make reports..." Naver thinks for a moment then smirks. "They don't seem to get along too well. I wonder if we can instigate something." Naver whispers with a smirk. "I'm best with blade to blade combat, not sure about your force skills."

*Kevin quietly removes his blaster pistol from its holster on his right hip and looks at the scouts*
I've got good blade skills too, and my Force skills are really good, but I'm all for getting them to go after each other, especially since it looks like the big clone doesn't like how the other human made fun of the clone's former commander. How to do that, though, I'm not really sure. I'm also a good shot with a blaster, so maybe I could snipe them out.
*He thinks to himself for a moment.*
No matter how we take them out, though, I think you're right that they probably do have to make regular reports to their base in the village. I was thinking that maybe we could pose as scouts and sneak into the base that way. What do you think, Naver?

"Couldn't hurt to try it. If it works, we got our way in. If it doesn't...well, I don't see much of a choice." Naver draws his blaster as well. "Still, we better be pretty careful with these shots, last thing we need is someone to wonder why we have a blaster hole in our armor." Naver says with a soft laugh.

*Kevin smiles*
Yeah, that would give us away real quick. Ok, that clone looks like he'll be pretty tough to bring down, so let's target him first, then I'll take the Rodian, and you take the other human.
*He pulls his small vibroknife out of its sheath inside his left boot, then sets up his shot on the big clone, aiming for his head. Finding a clear shot, Kevin fires, and the shot hits its mark and the clone goes down. Quickly, Kevin throws his vibroknife at the Rodian's neck. The knife hits the Rodian's neck dead center, killing him instantly.*

Naver fires at the same time as Kevin and his first shot hits the clone as well. Then quickly turning, aiming, and firing he sends a second shot into the other human at the same time as the knife hits the Rodian.
"Well, well, that wasn't too hard. And now we got some speeder bikes if we need them."

*Kevin gets up and walks over to the Rodian's body and picks up his knife, then uses a piece of cloth torn off of the Rodian's pants and wipes the blood off of his knife before resheathing it.*
Yep. Let's collect their gear and head out to the village on the bikes. If we act good enough, maybe we can get at least some of the troops away from the village by pretending that we're other scouts and happened upon these ones here and tell them that there might be some intruders on-planet.
*He starts picking up the dead scouts' gear and weapons and inspects them.*

Naver shrugs as he starts removing the scout's gear. He holsters his blaster and starts removing the clones gear. "Dang, these are some nice blasters." He says holding them up. "Wonder how much they cost him." He said with a laugh.
"If we tell them there are intruders though, wouldn't that heighten their defenses around the base?" Naver asked curious what Kevin's plan was.

*Kevin thinks to himself for a moment as he starts grabbing some of the armor from the Rodian.*
Hmm, you're probably right on that one. I didn't think about that. What I was thinking was that with some of the troops headed out to find intruders, there would be less at the base and we might have a slightly easier time rescuing the hostages. But your theory that they would heighten security is probably a good one. I still think we should try to pass ourselves off as scouts returning from our run and then try to find the hostages from there.
