(24/30) Armament: Quad turbo laser cannons Heavy Turbo laser batteries Turbo laser cannons Warhead launcher (concussion missiles) Complement: 1 Squadron TIE Starfighters -auto compliment- The Pirate ship 'King Nothing' appears from hyperspace with its support fleet of 10 battered Dreadnaughts in tow. As expected, the Lurmen send no defense force to stop them as they approach from the far side of the Rori moon. They soon begin to take up positions in geosynchronous orbit over the one of the larger villages and its surrounding settlements. Soon fighters begin to spew from the hangar bays like bats out of the night and set up a defensive perimeter around the fleet. The Pirate lord orders his men to stand fast at their stations and for all ships to raise shields and power up their weapons. He orders the his communications to send a message to Carratos to make their demands, one that spells certain trouble for those on the planet. Six heavy troop carriers exit the King Nothing and begin heading into the atmosphere; their mission is to land and then take hostages of Lurmen tribes.

The TIE Phantoms containing Naver, Shana, and Athena exited hyperspace away from the planet so as to avoid showing up on any radars. Shortly after they exited hyperspace, the Knights activated their cloak and waited for Kevin.
He would know where they were based on their force presence and the coordinates. As such the Knights waited for their new comrade.

*The Tin Man reverts from hyperspace and Kevin keeps to the outskirts of the system and activates his cloaking device so he won't be detected by the pirates. He finds the other Imperial Knights in the Force.*
TTF: Lady Shana, I've arrived in the system. From what I can tell, there are 11 capital ships in orbit and I think that there are troop transports enroute to the planet's surface to secure the villages. How do you wish to proceed from here?

Lady Shana was quiet for a minute as she looked over each vessel. As she began to form plans, she heard Kevin. Thinking for a minute she tried to form a plan as she looked over things.
TTf: Kevin, do we have an intel on this specific captain? If we were able to sneak some of our people on board to capture him using stealth do you think we could force him to stand down? Or do you think he ordered their execution just out of spite?
I'm not wanting to risk that so I was thinking of having you and Sir Naver head down to the surface and see if you could help perform a stealth rescue. Try to move and rescue as many as possible, that was just in case he doesn't stand down and attempts to kill them, we'll have moved them so that he won't be able to kill them. In the Knights we listen to multiple opinions, so do you have any other ideas?

*Kevin hears Lady Shana's response and thinks for a moment, trying to remember anything he can about the pirate leader.*
TTF: From what I remember from when I was younger, he was the leader of a big time crime syndicate on Corellia, where my father was a member of CorSec and had busted several of this pirate leader's underlings and even two lieutenants. The pirate leader, who's name is Cergan, put out a death warrant on my father. My mom was also secretly a member of Cergan's organization and was the one who orchestrated my dad's death. I ended up taking out my mom and her two assistants, and for a while Cergan was after me because of it, but I've been able to throw him off my trail. I don't know why he picked the Lurmens to take hostage, but my guess is because they are not militaristic and wouldn't resist his forces. I do believe that it would be wise to go and rescue as many of the Lurmen hostages as we can, but I think we should launch the attack on him and his ship first and then when he's distracted, send in the Knights who are in charge of rescuing the Lurmens.

"The problem is that if we just move in and attack we'd have to worry about him ordering a bombing or ordering their killing." Lady Shana said with a sigh, "It's an icky case either way. But I'd prefer to get the hostages out of his hands before we attack him. I understand the use of distractions, but still...

TTF: Ok, we'll go with your idea. Once we've got the hostages secured and safe, I'll let you know.

"TTf: Well like I said, among the knights we do discuss things. If you disagree feel free to let me know." She said, "I was just worried that if we attack he might order their execution before we can stop him."

TTF: I don't disagree with your idea. What you're saying makes alot of sense, and I think it's probably the best course of action considering the situation.

TTf: "Alright, just wanted to make sure. Everybody misses things at times so I wanted to make sure you hadn't thought of anything I had missed. Alright then, so you and Naver can sneak down to the planet, Lady Shana and I will sneak aboard the flagship. Once we receive your message through the force that you've rescued or at least moved the hostages, we will attempt to capture the pirate." Lady Shana paused, "Actually, you had something personal with this pirate didn't you? Would you prefer to be part of the force boarding the flagship instead?" She asked.

*At the suggestion that Kevin go with the team capturing the pirates, Kevin feels his old anger begin to creep up. He knows that he could finally get his payback on this pirate for destroying his family, but he also knows that if his anger gets the best of him, he could go into a violent rage and potentially sabotage the mission.*
TTF: As much as I would like to go with the team capturing the pirate captain and finally get payback, I don't think I should because I haven't quite learned how to fully control my anger, especially about this, and I wouldn't want to end up sabotaging the mission. So I'll let you and Lady Athena take the pirate captain and I'll go with Sir Naver to rescue the hostages.

Lady Shana smiled and gained a large amount of respect for the man. She had been serious about giving him the option, but it was also somewhat of a test. She was curious to find out how this new knight thought and planned. He had made a rational and smart choice knowing his limits and not testing them.
TTf: Very good answer, Kevin. I appreciate your honesty and can tell that I'll enjoy working closely with you. Alright then, I'm going to place you in charge of the hostage mission. Naver will follow your lead and act as your back up. May the force be with you.

*Kevin smiles to himself, and also finds himself wondering about the code of the Imperial Knights. Ire had led him to believe he would be using the dark side, so what Kevin had just decided would have been the opposite of what he should have done. He would make sure to ask Lady Shana about that later.*
TTF to Shana: Thank you and may the Force be with you as well.
*Kevin focuses and finds Naver in the Force.*
TTF to Naver: Sir Naver, you and I are going down to the surface to rescue the hostages, or at least get them moved to another location that's not being targeted by the pirate captain.

TTf: Lead the way, boss. Naver said as he moved his Tie Phantom into place behind Kevin's vehicle.
