Scylla then looks down at the ground, obviously feeling sad, and knowing that she knew what Luke and Caitlin had both said were true.
"I see your point, Master Luke, Caitlin. Markon has a lot to deal with, that is true, but he will not take that lightly. I fear that the family image that I once had, and that I had once hoped would come true, may just be nothing more than an afterthought..."
She then sat down on a rock, and folded her hands together, as she stared at the ground.
"Right now, the only thing we need to do, is to find Tristan. My son is alive, and I need the help of the Jedi Order. Whether Markon likes it or not, the Jedi are the only ones that I knew to come to. He has been trying to do everything on his own, and I am afraid that he is consumed by the darkness, and is now obsessed with finding Tristan, that the pain of failing so many times, has finally gotten to him..."
She then looks up at Caitlin and Luke.
"Markon is on Korriban. He is in the tomb of Ajunta Pall. I don't know how long he is gonna be there for, but I don't want him to hurt anymore people... Just, please do not hurt him, please..."
She then buries her face into her hands, as she knows that she might have just delivered the death sentance on her husband.

"I plan to do everything I can to redeem SK. But it starts and ends with him, and whether or not he wants to change. I'm optimistic about what his decision will be," says Luke. "I think with Tristan safe, he will make the right decision. And Scylla, you can never go back to the way it was, you can only forge a new here and now."

Cait nods in agreement with Luke about renouncing the dark side. She sighs when he mentions retribution knowing he is right that some of them will want that. Cait sighs again when he mentions the authorities pursuing the matter.
I'm afraid Luke is right about that. The RGE especially. They would see if as an affront to their authority. I would not be surprised if they are already doing something about it.
*She sighs and runs her fingers through her hair in distress.*
He has created a mess for himself that's for sure. I don't know how we are going to help him out of it. If he had just asked for help in the first place none of this might have happened. But that doesn't mean we can't do something. I just have no idea what at the moment.
Cait goes over and puts her arm around Scylla to comfort her.
We are not giving up. There may still be a chance for that. I don't know how. The Force knows.
I agree Tristan should be our first priority. *nods at what Scylla says.* I think it is because he is use to doing everything on his own even when he was a Jedi. He learned to only rely on himself. I'm not sure if his being a Shadow was a good thing for him or not. It put him too much on his own. I think he needed to learn how to depend on others. He needed to learn the sense of belonging and family. Which he didn't have growing up. Which I think you and Tristan have finally given him.
Cait looks in surprise at Luke then back at Scylla when Scylla tells them where Markon.
I see. How long do you think he might be there? And what will he do if he leaves? Do we have the time to take care of finding Tristan first?
Cait hugs her.
We don't want to hurt him either just stop him from hurting anyone else. I agree Luke I think finding Tristan is the key.
I just had a sudden thought do you think if the three of us combined our efforts using the bracelet as the focus we could find out where he is? Maybe if we used the energy from the Darkside cave we could use it to tap into the Darkside energy surrounding those who are hiding him and follow it back to its source?
What do you think could we do that Luke?

Scylla looks at the both of them, and knows that there is no longer denying the outcome. They do not know Markon like she does. She knows that he will not turn back to the Jedi. He may rescend the Dark side, but he will never go back to the Jedi, nor would he listen to them. He would die first, before he would listen to them, but she knows that this is the best way.
"Luke, Caitlin, I know that he won't listen to you guys. I know that he will die before he listens to any of you... I don't want any harm to come to him, but I know him. If you do send anyone out there to get him, then I suggest that you send more than one Jedi, for he will attack them with force..."
She then looks to Cait and nods
"I do believe that if we all concentrated enough, we may be able to find the location of Tristan, but that is purely a long shot. I mean, he could be on a hundred or so planets. It would be hard to find him..."
She then looks to Luke to see what he thinks about the idea.

Scylla turning back to the light doesn't mean he will re-join the Jedi in fact I doubt he will ever do that. You can follow the light by living a good life, by being kind to others. That doesn't depend on being a Jedi or anything else.
Yes, I know. He doesn't trust us. *sighs* I agree he would.
*Cait looks back* Do we have any other choice? A long shot is better than no shot. Maybe we can narrow it down if we concentrate on the feeling of heat you felt. Maybe we can get some more information. I know it is not much but anything no matter how small will help at this point.
Cait also looks at Luke to get his input.

"I believe that if we combine our powers by all touching the bracelet seeking out his presence, we can do it. But by no means should we tap into the dark side to do this. The dark side is quicker and easier, and evil. We can accomplish the same thing without using the dark side," says Luke. "I fear if we tap into the dark side, the results will be tainted, and we will be tempted."

*Cait shakes her head.* Luke, that is not quite what I meant. I explained it badly. I meant more tracing than using but I understand what you are saying and I agree. I will abide by your decision. We will not use the cave's energy.
If we are going to do this we should do it now. Maybe we should sit down and be comfortable this may take a while.
*Cait walks over to Yoda's hut and sits down gracefully next to the wall using it as a support to her back. She folds her hands and puts them in her lap.*
Okay, how do you want to do this?

Scylla then heard what Luke said, and then what Caitlin said and nods her head.
"Well, if that is what you think could work, then I am all for it. I just want my son back. I know that tapping into the dark side would not be the wisest choice, and it could also alert Markon as well, and that would be the last thing we should do..."
She then looks to Luke, and then to Caitlin, and walks over to Caitlin, and plops down on the ground, and rests her back against the wall of the hut, as she waits for Luke to get things started.

Luke joins the others and holds the bracelet out in front of him so that the others might also grab hold of it. "Center yourself in the Force and focus on the bracelet. Concentrate on the wearer of the bracelet. Join our energies together and try to touch Tristan's mind. You should be able to reach out and touch him as easily as we can touch each other," says Luke. "Scylla may get the clearest picture of where he is since she is closest to him."
Luke closes his eyes and feels the Force flow through him. Images of a happy childhood flash before him. Then fear and uncertainty. His consciousness expands until he feels a familiar presence. He gets the sensation of heat, a massive amount of heat. Rivers of heat flowing all around. He focuses a little more and he sees the heat is liquid. Liquid lava. Luke opens his eyes to see how the others are doing.

Good point Scylla. We don't want to alert those who are holding your son either which using the darkside would do.
Cait nods and reaches out with her hand to lightly touch the bracelet at Luke's instruction. She closes her eyes and concentrates on reaching Tristan as she taps into the flow of the Force around them. She joins her energies to Luke and Scylla's to reach out and find Tristan's location. She senses the bright ,strong Force presence that is Luke and the soft, warm light that is Scylla. She then senses a bright, clear innocent presence in the Force, Tristan's mind. His presence in the Force is a warm, bright, shining one. She senses suddenly his fear and wanting of comfort from his mother. Mommy... the thought of her is clear in his thoughts. I want Mommy...
I heard Tristan calling for his mother. He is afraid.
There is also the sensation of intense heat, and the smell of molten rock. The vision opens up and she sees rivers of flowing lava, then of a giant lava fall. Cait frowns in concentration, the Lava fall... that is familiar somehow she has seen this Lava fall before, somewhere recently.
I see rivers of molten rock, lava flowing in a giant fall of lava. Falls of Lava. She frowns again. There is something familiar about that fall. I know it from somewhere.

She then concentrates on the bracelet and with the force she stretches out to force and then tries to find Tristan through the force. She then starts to get the same intense heat feeling, but is not seeing things more clearly. Her son! she can actually see Tristan! she had a smile cross her lips, along with a tear stroll down her cheek. It was him, but she was feeling darkness all around him, followed by what seems like a glint of light as well, as if there is something there, or someone that was trying to balance the force from the darkness. She could see him, cowering under a bed she thinks, and he was scared, very scared. She then concentrated even harder to find out where the location of the system could be.
"Mommy...Daddy...I'm scared...Daddy, I want Daddy...Mommy, where are you...?"
That was all she could hear from his thoughts, and tears then started to fall from eyes, as she so desperately wants to rescue her little boy.

LUKE! Mara screams out to Luke through their bond in the Force. She sends him images of a lava-covered planet scattered with ore mining facilities, of the Mensix Mining Facility, and finally, an image of a green-eyed boy with black hair crying in the corner of a detention cell.
She goes silent for several minutes, projecting alertness and determination, as if she were engaged in a fight. Then she projects pain through the bond as she was slammed into the wall by the Sith Master.
Hurry up, Skywalker... Mara's connection to the bond is cut when she goes unconscious.

Luke's head snaps back when Mara makes contact. He sees the images that she sent. He realizes that the planet he saw was the same one that Mara sent to him. Luke begins to bring his focus back to the here and now, finally breaking from his meditation. "I have enough information that I believe Artoo can give us a location, a planet. I just feed him the information, and the Stealth X's computer can translate for Artoo," says Luke. "Let's get to our ships and once I have a destination, I can comm you. I'm also going to comm for some reinforcements. Any questions?"

Cait then senses a familiar presence strong in the light of the Force near where Tristan is. She just about to say something to Luke if he senses it too when she hears the scream through the Force of Luke's name. She knows there could only a handful of people that would be able to do that to Luke. And she is now able to recognize who the presence is...Mara. She stiffens as she picks up the barrage of images from Mara to Luke through the Force link they all are sharing at the moment. She gets the echo of Mara's pain from Luke. She then hears Mara telling him to hurry before the connection ends abruptly.
When Luke says he has enough information to find the planet. Cait puts her hand on his arm and says.
Luke, wait I know that Mara needs you but I may have a better way. I recognize the images are similar to some I was looking at during the research on volcanic planets I was doing earlier. I have the the information on my ship. It might be quicker if Artoo does his search from there. He can link with my system and then download the information to our ships. Also Geenine might be able to help. Two droids will speed up the search.
You can also use my ship's comm it has a greater range than your ship. Also as it is a medical shuttle it has a direct link to the Command center on Yavin.
Reinforcements sounds like a good idea. You might want to contact Jango I know he would like to help as well especially if there was a child involved. He might be able to create a diversion so a strike team could land.
Scylla do you want to use your own ship or would you like to come with me on mine?
Cait gets up ready to move.

Scylla then looks to them both and nods. She is happy that she will be able to see her son soon, but what she is worried about, is that somehow Markon is gonna find out that the Jedi were the ones that helped in finding their son. He is not gonna like it, but the Jedi are risking their lives for her son. Many Jedi will die, she knows this, and all for Tristan, but it's her son, but also it's Markon's son as well. The more he dips into the darkside, the more he is wanted. she is scared that he may not be able to see his son grow up, with the way he has been doing things. But, this is not about him at the moment, it's about Tristan, and she knows that Markon will understand... she then gets up off the ground and looks to Luke.
"I understand what will happen, but may I have one request. I want to be on the strike team as well. I need to be there for my son..."
She then looks to Cait.
"No, I will take my shuttle, since I can't have the pilot go back to Markon. If you don't mind, but I think that would work better..."
