The Jungles of Yavin IV

[Teresa Antilles]

She runs after him and trips.
*Master where are you?*
She whispers shaking. Something is making her skin tingle.

[Johnathan Kenobi]

Johnathan runs to her and catches her,helping her to her feet,"Why didn't you stay at the temple,Teresa,this is dangerous,go back..please.."he said,checking out her vitals,he notices her shaking and sends her waves of calming energies.

[Teresa Antilles]

She forces her self to stand and her eyes look at him calmly
*No Master. I am your padawan where you go I will follow.*
She waves out her hand cutting his words off
* I will not leave you. I feel is something bad is going to happen. I will stay in the shadows but I am not leaving*
Her chin juts up and her blue eyes are calm.

[Johnathan Kenobi]

Johnathan sighs,"I guess I have no choice..come..then,let us go."he says,"But be sure to stay in the shadows."he sighed,not sure if this was a good idea,but he may be able to get to Paymon this way,and begins to run with her towards the temple.

[Teresa Antilles]

She nods and follows behind him trying not to make a sound.

[Jade Albright]

~She moves slowly. Trying to feel her way to John and Teresa, but she is disorientated due to her forcing her body to change back before she should of. She trips and lays there panting.~

[Jorj'anu'sabosen]

*Janus begins hiking through the jungle, using the Force to help him find Jade. He knows that there are some dangerous creatures in the jungle, and he is a little scared, but does his best to remain calm and focused. He walks for a while, having to adjust his direction a few times to keep on track. After about a half hour, Janus finally finds his master. She is lying on the ground, and appeared very tired. He kneels down on the ground next to her and tries to help her sit up.*

Master, are you ok? I know you told me to stay at the garden, but when I sensed you, it seemed like you were in trouble, so I came to find you.

[Jade Albright]

~She flutters her eyes open and looks at him~

Didn't I tell you to stay back?

~She gives him a soft smile and shivers. She lets him help her up and takes a deep breath.~

It is like breathing in water, so humid out here.

[Jorj'anu'sabosen]

*Janus smiles back and rolls up the sleeves on his shirt and wipes some sweat off of his brow.*

It is. I don't think I've ever been in a place as humid as this. I apologize for leaving the garden, but I felt like I had to come help.

*He wishes he brought some water with him, but in his rush, he forgot. Janus remembers the dark place he felt and decides to ask Jade about it.*

Master, I felt a strong darkness coming from somewhere out here. I think I also felt John heading in that direction, but I wasn't sure. Where was that coming from?

[Jade Albright]

~She looks at him and then flinches.~

The Templeof Exar Kun.

~She sighs~

It is a two day walk from here. I can't use force speed to get there. I forced my self to change back human.. It has hurt me.

~She looks down.~

We better get moving. I have my pack and saber. You?

[Jorj'anu'sabosen]

I've got my vibroblade and my pack, but I think I forgot to refill my water bottle.

*Janus looks in his pack just to double check on the water. He sees that his bottle is filled halfway He straps his pack back onto his back.[/color]

My bottle is filled halfway, but I think I'll be ok.

*He signals for Jade to lead the way to the temple*

~She sighs deeply as they move along the dense forest.~

I know how to get to the temple. I am just afraid of what we will find there. Teresa and John went after Paymon. John and him fought before hence John being in Med Bay.

~She forces herself to keep moving.~

I can feel they are figthing but that is all I can sense.

[Jade Albright]

~She is near the temple when she sinks to her knees screaming.~

JOHN JOHN???

~She gets up and runs to the temple as fast as she can~

[Jorj'anu'sabosen]

*Janus follows Jade as the two of them head toward the temple, listening as Jade explains her worries on what they might find there. He is surprised when Jade screams when they get near the temple and runs after her.*

[Mara Jade Skywalker]

Flying the speederbike through the jungle, Mara stretches out with her senses and the Force, searching for the remains of Nick's downed ship. She can vaguely make out the faint remnants of Nick's, as well as Kaden's Force presences, but they are much too faint to be helpful.

So she continues further into the jungle, expertly weaving the speederbike between the trees, enjoying herself despite the circumstances of her purpose out here. Something catches Mara's eye off to the north east; a glinting in the sunlight. A piece of metal. Abruptly, she cuts her speed and veers off into the direction of the sparkle in question.

Mara gets closer and closer to the shining piece of...durasteel, was it? Stopping next to the metal, she lets the bike idle and hops off, squatting down next to the metal in the process. Yes, it was indeed a piece of durasteel; engineered by sentients and clearly not natural to a jungle. Closer examination reveals that this piece of metal was once part of a ship's hull. She must be getting nearer to the Redemption's final resting place.

Mara shoves the hunk of durasteel into a side pocket on the speederbike, and climbs back onto the seat, puts it in gear, and continues her search. She passes several more pieces of hull, each piece getting slightly larger and admittedly more mangled, when a slight pressure in the back of her head causes her to stop the speederbike once again. Mara had learned to listen to the proddings in the past and she wasn't going to stop now.

Cutting the bike's engine and sliding off the seat, Mara stretches out once again to the Force, and draws her blaster...there are wild predators out here after all. She walks about twenty yards into the trees, when she finds it: horribly twisted and mangled hull plating with what appeared to be a single fragment of an explosive device still attached to it. The fragment had part of a logo or an insignia of some type on it Mara did not recognize. Perhaps Kaden would.

The hull piece is rather large and unable to fit into the speederbike's storage compartments. Mara puts away her blaster, draws her lightsaber, and ignites it. Using the weapon, she carefully cuts the hull piece down to a more manageable size. When finished, she deactivates her lightsaber and returns it to her belt, then she loads the hull piece into the speederbike's compartment, then climbs aboard herself, starts the engine, and heads back to the Temple.
