At the crossroads between the great mountain passes of the North and the grasslands of the Southwest in the more temperate region of Obroa-Skai lies the capital city of Parmedon. Housing the Galactic Institute, the Obroan Library, and the Obroa-skai Galactic Information Center, Parmedon is a modest metropolis, housing the beautiful (the architectural wonder, the Midon building, home to one of the biggest tech corporations on the planet) and the ugly (the many miles of slums on the outskirts of the more mountainous Northeastern side).
Housing the largest spaceport on Obroa-Skai, Parmedon is typically a merchant's first stop when trading. Many spacers come through Parmedon before continuing outwards to explore the other parts of this tundra world. Typical imports include high tech equipment, luxury goods, foodstuffs (to augment the poor supply that grows in the frozen grasslands), and wood. Typical exports include mid-tech equipment and secondary machining.
Tourism is also important to Parmedon, and it shows in the Southern side of the city. Immense buildings (including the Midon building and the Obroan Library) showcase the architectural genuis. Large promenades, parks, and malls also are aesthetically placed in this section of the city. On a slight hill near the more Western corner, also resides the Obroan Filiming Productions, a company well-known for its blockbuster holovids. The Western corner is also known for housing some of the more well known holo stars in the galaxy.

The Parmedon Medical Center was the most advanced medical facility on the planet. It had the best doctors, surgeons, nurses, medical specialists to be had. Evaline Kayden, a Nediji female doctor, was glad to be working in such a fine hospital. She had worked at several different facilities since becoming a bright, young, optimistic medical students. Many of them were barely more than gutted warehouses equipped with ancient scanners and bacta tanks. Evaline slipped past two nurses helping a Chadra Fan onto a gurney and continued down the hallway. She glanced at her datapad and read the stats again. The patient was a human female, early twenties, 1.7m, 53kilograms--a little low for a woman her height. She had been brought in by the Parmedon Police Force early that morning. She was unconscious, with multiple bruisings, a possible concusssion, and strange striations along her left arm and side. Scans had shown signs of bruisings, but most interestingly: it appeared that the woman, the Lara Antilles, had recently given birth to a child. Evaline looked back up and scanned her eyes along the hallways until she spotted the room number. She walked to the door, slid her card across the keypad and entered. The Lara Antilles lay on the bed, monitors clicking away and displaying her stats. Evaline checked them, and they seemed to be doing fine. She then checked the feeds, the IV lines into the woman. "You poor thing," Evaline said, her voice music-like. "I wish you could wake up and tell us what happened to you." One of the monitors flashed and she glanced over. Apparently, the woman was able to hear Evaline's voice, because her brain was reacting. Evaline pulled up a nearby chair and sat next to the prone woman. She took the human's hand in hers--a lightly feathered had that was a cross between a human's and a bird's wing--and gently squeezed. Evaline waited as slowly, the woman began to rouse herself. Finally, the woman's eyes flickered open, and Evaline watched as the blue eyes focused on the room. The woman's heart rate leaped. Suddenly, she sat up, her eyes wild and worried. "Where am I?" she asked, her voice rough, dry. She coughed, holding a thin hand to her throat. Evaline stood up from the chair and tried to gently move the woman back down. "There, there," she said, as soothingly as she could. The woman's breathing was frantic, shallow. If she wasn't careful, she would pass out soon. "Where am I?" she asked again, her voice high and thin, like a child lost without her mother. "You are at Parmedon Medical Center," Evaline said, pushing the woman back more firmly. The woman slowly reclined back. "I am Doctor Evaline Kayden, your physician. Don't worry, you are all right." The woman was still breathing shallowly, but she did seem in more control of herself. She swallowed. "I'm thirsty," she said, touching her throat. Evaline quickly moved to the faucet and got her some water. The woman drank it all quickly. "What is your name?" Evaline asked, taking the cup back. The woman's eyes roamed the room, the monitors, the feeds. "Crystal. Crystal Starr Light." Evaline was glad to see the woman knew who she was. The likelihood of serious brain damage was less. "Do you know how you got here?" Crystal closed her eyes, scrunched her forehead. "I was..." she started and then she brought her right hand to her forehead and began to rub it. "I was going back home. Here. I got here and then..." She stopped and looked up at Evaline. "I don't know....what day is it." Evaline took a calendar from the wall and handed it to Crystal. Crystal just stared. "That can't be right. Where is the baby?" she asked. Evaline's eyes widened. "What do you mean?" she asked. "Do you not remember giving birth?" Crystal shook her head. "This isn't possible," she said, her voice distant. Evaline knew that something had to be done quickly--Crystal was getting a little too jittery. Evaline quickly reached for a sedative and put it into Crystal's feed. Slowly, the woman's fervent cries toned down and she fell asleep.

Crystal Starr Light woke again, only this time, it was dark. The monitors were the only light, their staccato bleeps penetrating the quiet of the hospital at night, their lights eerie reminders of her health. Crystal looked up at the ceiling and stared. What had happened to her? How had she gotten here? She closed her eyes. What had happened to the child? Crystal rolled over onto her side and curled up into a ball. She didn't want to remember the events leading to here, the divorce, her father...facing her father again. She shuddered at that memory. How she had hated to have to go to him, to ask him for help to leave Brev. How she had been humiliated, as he had enjoyed humiliating anyone who intersected his path. But she really didn't have much choice; Brev was wealthier and would not have let her go. He didn't see why Crystal was so upset at being pregnant. He couldn't understand; he wasn't the one pregnant. He wanted children, had begged Crystal for children so often. But Crystal had refused each time. She never told him why, she just couldn't bring herself to say the words. She would just glare at him, maybe even strike him to get him to back down. Crystal thought after awhile Brev would be content with her and her alone, but he wasn't. Oh no, he wasn't. He was a spoiled rich brat (not really much different than herself, but Crystal didn't think of it that way) and if he wanted a child, he was going to get one. That's what created the whole mess in the first place. If he hadn't been underhanded, then they would still be together...right now...instead of Crystal lying in a hospital bed under unknown circumstances. She stared, unfocused at the wall. Despite herself and what had happened, she found herself missing Brev, the smell of his cologne, his gentle touch on her body. He was a good man, even if he had tricked her. Brev never hit her, even when she hit him. He'd go to work with bruises on his body and lie, saying "Another gardening accident!" or "I shouldn't try carpentry, it's not my thing!" How many men would lie about their wives' abuse? She ought to have been grateful; if her superior had heard about her outburst...well, she could kiss that promotion goodbye. As it was, she was likely going to have to kiss something goodbye. If she had already had the baby, if it had really been nearly a year, then that meant in the Empire's eyes, she was a deserter...and the Empire didn't take lightly to deserters. Crystal chewed her bottom lip, a habit she had picked up unconsciously. She had to figure out what had happened. She had to remember...

Crystal Starr Light walked out of the hospital, clutching her bantha-hide jacket close to her. The weather was slightly cool, but that wasn't what chilled Crystal's soul. She had to know what happened to her. And she had to find out if she was on the Empire's hit list yet. She didn't think that the Empire would concern itself with a First Lieutenant, but she had to be sure. Crystal continued down the sidewalk. Parmedon City had the more common slidewalks, but only in the more central areas. Apparently, before she was found, Crystal was chilling over in the nasty South side of Parmedon City. As she walked, she looked cautiously from side to side. The roads were worn, pitted from age and use. Landspeeders and airspeeders whipped by, stirring up rain water in the pits and splashing them at pedestrians. Crystal kept close to the buildings to avoid getting too wet, but others had no qualms about it. One Wookiee got splashed by an incoming vehicle and made an obsence gesture at it. The vehicle stopped and a Whiphid came out. In moments, the two were yelling at each other loud enough to draw the attention of the local police. Crystal ducked down an alley, not wanting to draw attention to herself. She walked quickly, even though her body ached--from what abuse she endured, she couldn't say. At the end, Crystal made a right and began to trudge her way to the North-West. That should be where the Imperial Garrison was located...if it hadn't changed in the time she'd been there. Crystal had walked a few meters when she heard the footsteps behind her. Her spine chilled. Someone was following her. Empire? Rebel? Her ex-husband? Her father? She swallowed. She didn't have a weapon, not even a knife. All she had to defend herself was her skills in martial arts, but she was weak, recently released from the hospital. Crystal cursed herself and began to wish she had called a cab. Pushing her body past its limits and the doctor's orders, Crystal sped up and began to weave around fellow pedestrians and up and down alleys. The feeling someone was following didn't leave. At the next corner, Crystal feinted a move to the left and then barrelled right, into a crosswalk when the light was just turning green to oncoming traffic. She flew down the crosswalk and to the other side. She spared a glance behind her, at her pursuer. All she could see was a crowd of beings. Male, female, human, Rodian, Wookiee, Twi'Lek, Chadra Fan...there were so many possibilities, Crystal couldn't be sure who was following her. She sighed and continued on.

As his ship landed, he then got out and looked around the city. For some reason, he was told to come here, but he has no idea why. He then continued to on in the city, with using the force as a guide, and to help him seek out, what it is that he is searching for...

As he continues on his walk, he looks above at the tall buildings and figures that whatever he may need to find, is actually there. He then makes his move, when one of the officers on patrol stops him. "excuse me sir, but is there something you are looking for? Possibly I could help you find it?" the officer said, and then placed a hand on SK's shoulders as a sort of nice gesture. Well, SK did not like that, and activated his lightsaber and stabbed the officer in the gut. One of the patrons sees what is going on, and immediately calls for the other officers, as people of the streets start to run and scream.
SK then continued on his path, as more and more officers and military personnel were coming out to help. All he could do, was smile at the situation, and know that whatever it was he was looking for, he would make it come to him

As the alarms are sounding off, officers and soldiers all start to come from different parts of the city. SK is continuing on his search to find what it is that he is looking for, and still cannot find it. He then closes his eyes, and with deep concentration, he opens himself to the force, looking, searching for something.
As he opens himself up, he can feel a presence in the force, but not what he believe that he was looking for, but regardless, he then walks towards it. As he is on his path, soldiers then come out from behind the building he had just passed by. The lead officer then walks up towards SK. "Well, it seems that we have finally got you. Now, turn over your lightsaber, and come with us peacefully, Jedi. We don't want any trouble." SK then laughed and with a flick of his wrist, he generated a huge force wave that ended up blowing all of the soldiers away, and mostly killing them with the impact of the force that was generated by his power.
As he continues his walk, he then walks up to a hospital ust inside of the city, and makes his way towards the entrance, to see what presence it was that he was sensing

As he walked through the corridors of the hospital, so many sick people, and people that were hurt, were all in thier beds and in their rooms. He then walked into each room, and looked for who it was, and when he did not find that person, he ended up killing the patient and the nurse and doctors, till there were no more rooms to go into. Patients, security guards, and medical perssonel were all on the ground dead. He then walked to the entrance and exited the building.
As he went outside, he looked out at empty streets, no more sirens, and no more people were around. It seems as though the military may have evacuated the city, or everyone was hiding, but nonetheless, he did not feel the presence he was looking for. He then walked back towards his ship, so he can be on his way towards the next planet.

Luke makes his way through the city streets, headed towards the hospital that was mercilessly attacked. When he reaches the city block with the hospital, it is cordoned off. He turns to Mara, "Time to go undercover." In an alley across the street, Luke uses the Force to disguise himself as an officer. He waits for Mara to disguise herself.

Mara grins at the thought of being incognito, and uses the Force to disguise herself as a healer-in-training.
"Let's do this," she whispers.

Luke walks to an area without any officers, and enters the cordoned off section of property. He makes his way inside the hospital and heads to the main area of investigation. He picks up some of the discarded clothing from the patients and healers where resuscitation efforts had been made. He uses Pychometry to try and determine what happened. All he gets from the clothing is images of a man drawing on the dark side, using a green lightsaber. The room is filled with pain, anguish, and fear.
"Mara, are you finding anything?" asks Luke.

Mara looks around the room in disgust. "Force forsaken Sith," she mumbles to herself while shaking her head.
Louder she says, "No, nothing. Only the feeling of sickness and outright terror. These people didn't deserve to die like this, Luke." She clenches and unclenches her fists, fingernails digging into her skin. She takes a calming breath. "We need to find out who did this before he can do it again."

Two officers pass by Luke and Mara, talking to each other.
"They say the guy got off-planet without so much as as greasing the servos."
"Who is this guy? He fraking kills everything in sight. Then just disappears. Did they even get what kind of ship he was on?"
"Nothing, nothing at all"
The two officers continue on their way and pass out of earshot range.

"No they didn't. We'll find whoever did this," replies Luke. He thinks for a moment. "I have a bad feeling about this. I fear it's someone we know, a former Jedi. I was with the usual suspects on Carratos when it happened. This is someone who hasn't been around for a while."
Luke turns back to the gown of a patient, draws heavily on the Force, focusing on the last moments of the wearer. He pushes away the emotions of the person wearing it, and thus the temptation of the dark side, and focuses instead on the presence of who did this unspeakable act. It is through psychometry that Luke senses a presence that he is extremely familiar with. With a look of shock he realizes who it is. "Mara, it was Markon Starkiller that did this. He's back."

"Well, shavit," Mara muttered the old curse bitterly. Slowly, she scanned the carnage again, assessing the damage, trying to find out why in the name of Ben Kenobi's ghost Starkiller would do this. What was the motive...besides the obvious fact that he was a Sith.
Suddenly it dawned on her and she looked back at Luke. "He was searching for something, or someone, specifically. It's not really clear, but what is clear is that he did not find what he was searching for." Mara bit back another curse. "Which means he's going to do this again, or already has on another planet."
