As Vanstone listened to the music, he stared blankly into space, feeling the notes. When it faded away he too smiled, for no particular reason as to why he was, but still.
He felt a warm feeling inside.

Cook sat up abruptly. He didn't quite know why, because he was sound asleep, but he felt something different.
He stood up and walked to the door. His leg wasn't as bad as before, he noticed. Then he made his way to the bridge.
Upon his arrival, he went directly to the scanner officer, and requested him to scan all ships in the area.
"There's all the Destroyers in our fleet accounted for, a few patrol squads of TIE fighters here and there," the officer stated quickly. "And then there's the mercenary's ship on the surface of the planet."
"What about that one?"
"I must have missed that one, hold on a second." He scanned it. "No Imperial identification, so no reason to be insystem, sir."
"Track his every move."
"Yessir."

Zanatos calmly flies near enough to the Star Destroyer that they can obviously notice him, and flips the communications signal switch.
"Night Shadow, this is Zanatos Duskk aboard the small fighter craft Scarlet Shade. I'd like to request an immediate with Admiral Cook aboard your ship immediately." He says, attempting to sound somewhat formal.

"This is Cook personally, what are you doing in my system?" Cook replied.

Zanatos, after hearing the message, decides to go with the truth.
"Admiral Cook, I received message from a contact recently that you were being pestered by a small bounty hunter. I was wondering whether you might require my services dealing with such a problem. For a nominal fee, of course," he chuckled.

"And what contact is this?" Cook asked quickly. "Is he one of my men? No one is supposed to know about this."

Smirking, Zanatos answered.
"I'm afraid that's classified information for now, Cook," After checking a few instruments on his control panel, he spoke again. "May we speak now? My ship requires refueling, and my contact tells me you like Correlian food."

At this, Cook smiled. Whoever this was, they must be friendly. Other than that stupid mercenary. "You are granted permission to land in the Main Hangar bay. Make sure you arrive on an empty stomach."

Zanatos sighed in relief. "That won't be a problem. Ships this small don't have food replicators, you know."
Zanatos positioned himself correctly and docked in the main hangar.

"Welcome to my ship," Cook stated with a flourish. "I trust you will find my hospitality adequate?"

Zanatos looked at the Admiral, sizing him up. Deciding he could be trusted, he grinned. "I most certainly hope so, Admiral. Now, where is the dining area?"

"Right this way."
Cook led them down a series of passages deep inside the Destroyer, before stopping in front of a lavishly decorated room with a large wooden table in the center, where two people were already sitting.
"I would like you to meet Commander Melee, and Admiral Vanstone." Cook stated.
A trooper came up to Cook, and Cook quickly said "The usual, as always." The trooper nodded, then retreated to the kitchens.
As the group took their seats, Cook began the conversation.
"So, Mr Duskk, what brings you to my closely guarded military installation again?"

"As I've stated already, a contact of mine recently notified me that you needed help dealing with a mercenary. Isn't that right, Admiral Vanstone?"
Zanatos leaned back in his chair and glanced about the room. It was certainly nicer than anywhere he'd been recently.
"And before you say anything, just know that I don't get involved in politics. If you have a problem, thats fine, but I'm not affiliated with your Empire."

As Cook looked at Vanstone, who quickly said in his defense, "I was shot, for god's sake!"

Cook shrugged. "Fair enough."
Just then, several people came out of the kitchen, bearing enourmous, grease-covered pizzas and set them on the table.
"Ah, quick as always." Cook smiled. "Enjoy!"
