Stonewycke Castle

[Nick Cousland]

The Stonewycke Castle is the family estate of Bryce and Eleanor Cousland, the parents of Nick Owabi also known as Nick Cousland. The estate is located 10 miles north of the city of Salis D'aar, the capital of Bakura. The estate and its grounds have been in the Cousland family for over 10 generations. It will someday pass on to Nick, the next heir of the Estate.

[Nick Cousland]

*The Serenity exits hyperspace and flies into the atmosphere of Bakura. Nick flies the Serenity towards his family Estate of Stonewycke. Nick lands the ship and then shuts down the engines. He looks at Cait and smiles at her.*
Well, we're here. Let's go. I've got a room set aside for you.
*He helps her carry her belongings off the ship and they walk into the Estate.*

*Cate looks and sighs happily*

So we are.
It has been too long since I have been here.
Do you think James and Jael will even remember me it has been so long?

*Cate follows him into the manor and then up to her room.
They set down her luggage in her room.
She gives him a hug. Then follows him to the door.*

*She gives him another hug and then closes the door behind when he leaves.
She gets ready for bed and then crawls exhausted into bed.*

*Nick smiles and hugs her back.*
You're welcome Cait. Have a good night. I'll see you tomorrow, and I'm sure James and Jael will remember you. They're family.
*He grins and nods his head. He quietly walks out of her room and then heads into his own bedroom. He softly closes the door and then begins to get ready for bed. After several minutes, he finally climbs into his bed and then falls into a peaceful sleep.*

*Nick wakes up feeling fully refreshed after a good night's sleep. He gets out of the bed and walks into the bathroom. He turns on the water for the shower and then steps into it. He takes a quick shower and then shuts off the water. He gets out and dries off. He then walks back into the room and puts on a set of royal blue clothing. He clips his lightsaber onto his belt. He walks over to his desk and sits down at it. At that time, a golden fire-lizard zooms into the room and lands on his shoulder and begins chirping quietly. Nick grins when he sees her.*
Well hello Alkariel. You seem to be doing great.
*He chuckles and gently rubs her eyeridges. Her eyes begin glowing a deep blue.*
I know. I missed you too dear one. Come on. Let's go get something to eat.
*He grins and stands up. Alkariel gently wraps her tail around his neck and he opens the door to his bedroom and then quietly heads over to Cait's door. He slips a note under the door telling her that he'll be in the dining hall and then that he's going out for a ride. He quietly heads downstairs to go eat some breakfast.*

*He walks into the dining hall and finds the table full of breakfast food. He finds a note from his parents saying that they went into Salis D'aar for the day. He nods his head and sits down at the table and begins to eat his breakfast. Alkariel begins eating the food set aside for her.*

*He finishes his breakfast and clears the table. He then quietly walks out the side door and into the stables. He walks up to a stall and sees his white stallion, Shadowfax. Shadowfax winnies and walks over to him.*
Hello Shadowfax. Ready to go out for a run?
*Shadowfax nods his head. Nick chuckles and grabs the saddle and the reins and puts them on him.*
Okay then. Let's got out and have some fun.
*He climbs up into the saddle clicks his tongue. Shadowfax neighs and runs out of the stables. They begins galloping across the fields.*

*After riding around the Estate for a while, Nick and Shadowfax ride back to the Manor Stables. Nick climbs out of the saddle and guides Shadowfax back into the stall. He removes the saddle and the reins and hangs them up in the proper spots. He then sticks a bale of hay in the stall for Shadowfax to eat. He then walks out of the stable and back into the Manor. He walks into the main lobby and up the stairs. He walks down the hallway and goes into his room. He sits down at his desk and quietly listens to some music.*

*Cate after sleeping deeply and late wakes up.
She gets up and takes a shower.
She then gets dressed and wanders downstairs to the dining room.
One of the servants brings her breakfast.
She eats hungrily and quickly.
She wonders where everyone is.
After she finishes her meal she wanders outside and toward the stables.
She enjoys the sunshine and fresh air as she strolls along.*

*He looks up as he senses Cait out and about. He grins and stands up. He walks out of his room and heads down the hall. He walks downstairs and into the main lobby. He asks one of the servants where she is.*
Yes sir, I believe she headed towards the stable area.
*Nick nods his head.*
Thank you. That will be all.
*Nick heads outside and towards the stables and finally sees Cait.*
Hello Cait. I trust you slept well last night?

*Cate reaches the stables and enters. She stops just inside the door and takes a deep breath. She smiles. *

I love a stable.

*She walks to the nearest stall and starts talking to a beautiful, bay mare.
She rubs the mare's soft nose.*

Aren't you a beauty?
A grand lady to be sure.

*The mare gives a soft whicker loving the attention and responding to the tone of Cate's voice.*

*When Nick speaks Cate turns around and smiles.*

Hello Nick, yes I did.
Almost too good.
I don't normally sleep this late.
What about you?
You slept well?

[Nick Cousland]

*He smiles and nods his head.*
Yeah, I slept good. Woke up early and went out for a morning ride. It did me good.
*He walks up to her.*
I still haven't heard anything about the location for the new Temple yet.
*He sighs quietly.*
I hope we get one soon. I'm ready to get to work.

*Cate still smiling.*

I can see that it did.
I was just talking to this beautiful lady.
What is she called?
I love horses.
I don't get to be around them much anymore, too busy.
And there is not much room at Coruscant for a stable in the Temple there.
And no where to ride.
I don't think horses and traffic mix very well.

Yes, I hope we hear soon.
I wonder where it will be.
I hope either Yavin or Tython.

Well if you want work I can give the data we have so far on the Foam.
I can get it for you when we go back to the house if you want.

I know the feeling.
*He looks at the mare and then back at Cait.*
I don't think she's been named yet. You can name her if you'd like to.
*He smiles.*
I hope its Yavin IV.
*He grins when she mentions work.*
Yeah, that'll work Cait.

That is just wrong.
Hmmm I will have to think about it.
It will have to be special like this Lovely Lady.

*Cate gives him a smile*

I know you do.
Yavin might be the best choice.
Since the buildings are already there.
All we will have to do is move in.

*She goes back to petting the mare's nose.
She has a thoughtful expression on her face as she tries to think of a name for the mare.*

It will have to be something special.
Any ideas on what you would like to be called?

*She says to the mare. The mare seems to nod.*
